Abstract

Da'wah in general means an activity of hailing or inviting others to do well. While the science of da'wah defined a science about the activities of da'wah from input, process until the output or until the da’wah succeed. Beside the Qur’an, hadith also commands or to do da'wah. The law of da'wah seems to be different for each person depending on the situation and conditions of that person in legal view. Abu Sa'id Al-Khudry ra said, I heard the Messenger of Allah (SAW), decree "anyone among you see the inequitable act, then he should hind it by hand (violence or power), if he cannot afford it (for lack of power), then hind it with his tongue, and if uncapable (with his tongue, that is such a weak faith ". Dakwah secara umum diartikan suatu aktifitas menyeru atau mengajak orang lain untuk berbuat baik. Sedangkan ilmu dakwah diartikan suatu ilmu yang mempelajari seluk beluk aktifitas dakwah mulai dari input, proses sampai output atau hasil dakwah yang dilakukan serta segala kajian yang berhubungan dengan pengembangan keilmuan dakwah. Selain al-Quran, di dalam hadits juga terdapat perintah atau suruhan untuk melakukan dakwah. Hukum dakwah ini nampaknya juga akan berbeda pada setiap orang tergantung situasi dan kondisi yang dialami orang tersebut dalam pandangan hukum. Abu Sa’id Al-Khudry ra. Berkata, Aku Mendengar Rasulullah SAW., bersabda “Barangsiapa diantara kamu melihat kemungkaran, maka hendaklah ia mencegah dengan tangan (kekerasan atau kekuasaan), jika ia tidak sanggup dengan demikian (sebab tidak memiliki kekuatan dan kekuasaan), maka dengan lidahnya, dan jika tidak mampu (dengan lidahnya) yang demikian itu adalah selemah-lemah iman”. (HR. Muslim).

Abstract

Master of Ceremony (MC) merupakan pelaku komunikasi yang sering berhadapan langsung dengan khalayak ramai, dalam berkomunikasi seorang MC mempunyai gaya komunikasi yang unik dan menarik agar pesan yang dibawa tersampaiakan dengan baik. Dalam proses komunikasi memandu acara pernikahan, seorang MC akan menggunakan gaya komunikasi yang berbeda serta menemukan hal-hal berupa hambatan komunikasi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis gaya komunikasi Master of Ceremony (MC) dalam memandu acara pernikahan di Kecamatan Lubuk Basung dan mengetahui apa saja hambatan-hambatan komunikasi yang terjadi dalam proses komunikasi. Fokus peneliti dalam penelitian ini meliputi : gaya komunikasi the controlling style, the equalitarian style, the structuring style, the relinguishing style, dan the withdrawal style serta hambatan-hambatan komunikasi. Dalam penelitian ini penulis menggunakan metode kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif, yaitu penelitian dengan mengumpulkan dan menganalisa data berupa kata-kata (lisan atau tulisan) dan perbuatan-perbuatan manusia lainnya. Teknik pengumpulan data yang penulis gunakan adalah observasi dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan yaitu gaya komunikasi yang cendrung digunakan Master of Ceremony (MC) dalam memandu acara pernikahan gaya komunikasi the controlling style, the structuring style, the dynamic style. Terkadang juga menggunakan gaya relinguishing style dikarenakan perbedaan komunikan yang dihadapi dari segi golongan, pola pikir dan lainnya sehingga MC hanya bisa menyesuaikan dengan kondisi yang ada. MC pernikahan di Kecamatan Lubuk Basung juga menggunakan gaya komunikasi dari Norton, seperti dramatic, animated expressive, relaxed, impression leaving, open, precise serta friendly. Kesimpulan yang didapat dari penelitian ini adalah setiap MC memakai gaya yang hampir sama dalam memandu acara pernikahan dan pada saat berkomunikasi masih ada ditemui hambatan-hambatan komunikasi berupa hambatan teknis, hambatan manusiawi dan hambatan semantik. Sebagai komunikator MC mampu memainkan perannya sesuai dengan situasi dan kondisi yang terjadi sehingga acara pernikahan dapat berjalan dengan baik.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the rapid development of technology in the field of social media so that preachers use it to deliver their da'wah. Youtube is one of the social media that is loved by many people, including the younger generation who use YouTube to find the information they need, including da'wah content. This phenomenon is of concern to the preachers, one of which is ustadz Das'ad Latif, to convey the message of da'wah. The da'wah message he delivered used a distinctive language, the regional language, so that many viewers were happy with the da'wah message he conveyed. The purpose of this study is to find out the contents of Ustadz Das'ad Latif's da'wah messages on the @Das'adLatif YouTube channel. The type of research used is qualitative research, namely research that produces findings that can be achieved by using measurements of both spoken and written words. The subject of this research is the sound of da'wah messages in videos on the YouTube channel @Das'adLatif. The data collection technique for this research uses a descriptive approach by watching and recording video content. Data were analyzed by content analysis method. The results of the study show that in Ustadz Das'ad Latif's Youtube Channel there are three da'wah messages including: Aqidah messages, Sharia messages and Moral messages. The contents of the message examined on Ustadz Das'ad Latif's YouTube channel are the core of the lecture which contains da'wah messages in it. From the categories of messages that have been mentioned there are sub-categories including: messages of aqidah including: faith in Allah, faith in His Angels, faith in His book, faith in His Messenger, faith in the Day of Judgment, faith in making up the qadha and qadar. Shari'ah messages include: worship and muamalah. Moral messages include: morals to God and morals to humans.

Abstract

The background of this study shows that there are a large number of beggars on Muaro Lasak beach, Padang City, both from children and the elderly. However, not all of the children who begged on the shores of Muaro Lasak Beach ordered their parents and some of their friends to join them. It is caused by a lack of communication between parents and children. Even indirectly the parents themselves tell their children to beg in order to get income. The type of research that the writer uses is a qualitative approach, with the intention of the researcher to describe by means of in-depth interviews with the object of research. The results of this study indicate that the large number of beggar children in Tapi Pantai Muaro Lasak, Padang City is caused by several factors, both from cultural factors, strength, emotions and context, self-esteem and self-awareness factors. The cultural activity factor that they carry out is no longer taboo but has become a habit that continues to develop and become a culture. This power factor causes the occurrence of children begging by their parents because they are in control at the location on Muaro Lasak Beach and become a strategy for children. The emotional factor is that they beg because of their own will and have been prohibited by their parents, but it does not rule out that they will stop begging on Muaro Lasak beach. the context factor refers to the environment, in this factor the environment is also important because there are children who beg only to follow their friends. The environment has a great influence on people's behavior. One self-esteem factor seeks attention from others because a lack of attention from parents can cause a child to seek attention from other people. The self-awareness factor of a beggar child who helps his parents' economy and the results they get will be given to his parents or grandmother. There are even barriers to interpersonal communication between parents and children that cause ineffective communication, namely process barriers, physical barriers, and emotional barriers.

Abstract

Communication strategy is a plan in communicating with the aim of achieving a goal. Communication is basically an activity of exchanging ideas or activities or ideas in conveying ideas and the meaning of messages from one party to another. Activities carried out in an agency are always accompanied by the goals that fellow groups want to achieve. This research focuses on answering how the Communication Strategy of the Head of the Islamic Affairs Division to Improve Employee Performance of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion of West Sumatra Province. The type of research used is using descriptive qualitative research methods. The data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The data analysis techniques that the authors use in this study are data reduction, data presentation and verification/conclusion. The primary data source in the study is the head of the field of Islamic religious affairs of the regional office of the ministry of religion of West Sumatra province and the secondary data in this study are in the form of archives and documentation in the field of religious affairs and communication of the head of the field of Islamic religious affairs of the regional office of the ministry of religion of West Sumatra province. The results obtained are that the strategy used by the head of the field of Islamic religious affairs to improve the performance of employees of the regional office of the ministry of religion of West Sumatra province is the Hafied Cangara communication strategy, which uses the method of selecting and determining communicators, recognizing targets, assessing the objectives of communication messages, and selecting media.

Abstract

Nagari Pasia, situated in the Ampek Angkek Subdistrict of Agam Regency, is one of the regions within Agam Regency that is actively endeavoring to enforce Islamic principles in the form of enjoining what is right and forbidding what is wrong, commonly known as "amar ma'ruf nahi mungkar." Among the multitude of merchants in Nagari Pasia, Mr. Andri Kusuma stands out as a household goods vendor. Within Mr. Andri's establishment, he offers a wide array of products ranging from essential commodities to a water refilling station, operating under the name "Depot Nabil." This enterprise was established in the year 2020, coinciding with the onset of the pandemic in Indonesia. Mr. Andri's motivation behind the establishment of Depot Nabil is twofold: to generate profits and to sustain the daily livelihood of his family. An intriguing aspect uncovered during the researcher's observation is that, alongside his commercial activities, Mr. Andri, operating under the banner "Depot Nabil," has prominently displayed numerous banners within his establishment. These banners adorn nearly the entire interior, bearing content centered around Islamic propagation or 'dakwah.' These banners are replete with exhortations, invitations, and calls to abstain from acts forbidden by Allah SWT, such as associating partners with Allah. They also advocate for acts of worship and virtuous deeds, including Sunnah fasting, Quranic recitation, and charitable giving. Furthermore, these banners provide guidance and prohibitions for the Muslim community and reference various Islamic propagation websites and recommended social media outlets.
