Abstract

Based on phenomena that occur in field where visible presence errors, omissions and inaccuracies in making decisions about further education learners who will have lived a bleak outlook in determining the direction of a career choice . Such problems often faced by learners , especially to determine type of education which one should take, and how  prospects for employment or career after graduating , and how steps that must taken to prepare themselves in entering employment or career in the future . This research conducted using qualitative methods and descriptive approach that intends to get an overview of career guidance program in Public of  Senior High School 14 Padang . Key informants in this study the counselor. The counselor totaling three person . The results of this study were ( 1 ) study feasibility of the implementation career guidance that has been done by the counselor in Public of Senior High School  14 Padang had adapted to talents and interests of learners so learners can determine enthuses career ( 2 ) career guidance programming  pursued by counselor adapted to needs of learners . Having mind  need or needs assessment learners  counselor working to develop a career guidance program will be given to students.

Abstract

The problems in this research based on phenomena that researcher found in the field. Preliminary female and male adult do not want to marriage. because they were enjoying with sufficient individual live. Focus on this research was 1) the reason of preliminary female adult does not want to getting marriage. 2) The reason of preliminary male adult does not want to get marriage. 3) Problems that preliminary female stay alone. 4) Problems that preliminary male adult still alone. Kind of this research was qualitative research which use study case. It means that, this research try to express in accurate and intend background of the preliminary female and male adult do not marriage. Technique of data analysis that used was narrative analysis. Informants in this research were 2 people. They are a female and male adult, they were parents, brother, sister, and friends. The result of this research described that 1) the preliminary female adult still alone because they won’t to be responsible to take care child and husband. 2) the preliminary male adult still alone  because they felt stress. 3) the preliminary female do not marriage yet because tempted by people around lonely woman. 4) felling sad because still a lonely.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research conducted by the phenomena that occur in the field which the students is individual who are experiencing social development, the social development of the students peer, however, studies look at the students who are isolated, therefore researcher raised this issue to be researched with the title profile of social development students isolated in the social relations at class XI of SMAN 12 Padang. The purpose of this research is to see: 1) profile of social development students’ isolated in the social relations friendship in peers. 2) Profile of social development students’ isolated with connection peers in studied. Type of this research is descriptive research the purpose to describe with detail. Subject of this research is students isolated at class XI total 84 students. Tool of collector data is questionnaire. Although the technic of data analysis that used is percentage formula. The result this research indicate that: 1). Profile of social development students’ isolated in the social connection friendship in peers not good. 2) Profile of social development students isolated in connection peers in studied not good.

Abstract

This study looks at the phenomenon was still a student experiencing difficulties in adapting and too awkward to adjust to school. This study aims to describing 1)  adjustment of transfer student participants learn with teachers 2)  adjustment of transfer students in learning with the teacher,  and 3) adjustment of transfer students in learning in the school environment. This research is a descriptive study of a state trying to describe what it is.  The population is moving MTs TI learners Batang Kabung Padang. Total population of 23 people  Samples were selected based on technique total sampling.  Sources of data in this study is primary data is data obtained from a transfer student questionnaires and secondary data is data that has been obtained from the administration of transfer students.  Data collection techniques in this study using a questionnaire. The results of the data in this study were processed using techniques percentage. The results revealed that 1)  the adjustment in the transfer of students studying with a friend on unfavorable criteria, 2) the adjustment of moving students in learning with the teacher on unfavorable criteria, and 3)  adjustment of transfer students to the school environment in unfavorable criteria.  Based on the results of these studies are expected to transfer students to be able to better adjust to the new school had their come. To the guidance and counseling teachers in order to help learners to make adjustments within the school .

Abstract

This study profiles describe about healthy adolescent heterosexual behavior in Junior High School 4 Hiliran Gumanti District. Focused on sexual feelings shown to the opposite sex and sexual interest in the opposite sex shown in this study is a population of students numbering 68 people, sampling in this study uses total sampling technique. Data collection instruments used questionnaires and the data processed using the percentage formula. The findings of the study revealed that healthy heterosexual adolescent behaviors include: (1) Acquire knowledge and sex roles conformed to gender, including the pretty good category, (2) Develop a positive attitude toward sex, including the pretty good category, (3) Learning to behave according to the heterosexual norm, including the pretty good category, (4) Setting the values in choosing a life partner, including the fair category, (5) Learning to express love, including the pretty good category, (6) development of heterosexuals, including the category quite well, (7) a new heterosexual pattern, including both categories. This study is expected to provide an overview of the types of service in developing a healthy heterosexual behavior in school counselor. Add new insights regarding the development of learners heterosexual adolescents. Parents can develop adolescent heterosexual behavior in Kanagarian Sariak Alahan Tigo into a more positive direction. Niniak Mamak Kanagarian Sariak Alahan Tigo Jorong Talaok can assist youth in developing as well as the development of heterosexual heterosexual behavior can be a good example for young people in kanagarian in Junior High School 4 Hiliran Gumanti District.

Abstract

Problems studied by the researchers discovered a phenomenon in the field in the lives of many people found these bad boys with attitudes and behaviors of ignorance, no one involved in drug abusers, engage in promiscuity, gambling, and theft. Based on the above phenomenon researchers raised concerns about the study: factors causing teenagers abusing drugs and the role of parents of adolescent drug abusers. The purpose of research to determine the causes of adolescent drug abuse and the role of parents of adolescent drug abusers.This type of research is a descriptive study and the population is involved adolescent                 drug abusers in Minangkabau Lantera foundation. Sampling in this study uses total sampling ie sampling done to the whole population. Sources of data in this study is primary data and secondary data. Primary data were obtained from a questionnaire completed by the adolescent drug abusers while the secondary data obtained from the foundation. Data collection tool used was a questionnaire and data analysis techniques using percentage analysis. Based on the results of this research is the general statement that the causes of adolescent drug abusers in Lantera Foundation Minangkabau are pretty much on the category and the role of parents of adolescent drug abusers in Minangkabau Lantera Foundation in the category pretty much.

Abstract

The problem in this study is: What is the factors that influenced a tutor in selecting information services at SMK N whole the city of Padang. This study aimed to describe: 1) The factors influenced the tutor to choose a information services method which is seen by the objectives to be achieved, 2) The factors influenced tutor chosen the information service method taken by material services, 3) The factors influenced the tutor choose the information services method viewed by the learners, 4) The factors influenced the tutor to choose a information services method seen by situation, 5) The factors influenced tutor in choosing the method of information services viewed by the teacher. This research is a descriptive study describing the real situation. The population is 38 people learners. Sampling in this study using the sampling technique the total subjects in this study were all teachers as mentors SMK Padang city, amounting to as many sas 38 people. Collecting data instrument used a questionnaire, while data analysis techniques using percentage analysis. The results of the study found that: 1) The factors influenced the tutor to choose a method of information services seen from the goals to be achieved in the large category, 2) The factors influenced tutor chosen the information service of material service visits are in the large category, 3) The factors influenced the tutor to choose a method of information services seen from students in the large category, 4) The factors influenced the guidance counselor to choose the information services method seen by situation in the large category, 5) The factors influenced the tutor to choose the information services method in the large category. For a guidance counselor recommended to improve the skills and insights in the implementation of activities, especially in information services

Abstract

This research means to know about The Relationship between parent caring pattern with the adolescent social habit in area Sungai Janiah district Gunung Talang sub-province Solok. The kind of research that be used is descriptive correlation. Population in this research are all adolescents of area Sungai Janiah district Gunung Talang. Sample of population are taken by random sampling method which is from the counting, the amount of sample must be 51 people. The instrument in this research is enquette. That enquette concist of two kind of enquette, there are parent caring pattern enquette and adolescent’s social habit enquette. Then, these enquette is tested the validity and reliability. To analyze it, used the equation of  product moment correlation coefisien karl pearson. The result of counting then is compared with product moment value r table and then doing t test which also be compared with t value table and last determinant coefisien counting of those two variable. The result of research show that there are a significant and strong relationship between The Relationship of parent caring pattern with the adolescent habit in area Sungai Janiah district Gunung Talang sub-province Solok, where rhitung about 0,73 >  rtabel about 0,279 at df 50 with significant value 5%.

Abstract

Based on the observation that researchers do the students STKIP PGRI  Sumatera Barat, especially student guidance and counseling that many students who have not completed a thesis which should have finished working on the thesis, there is still a student class of 2006 and 2007 who have not completed the thesis. The problem in this study is what are the factors that influence student motivation in the completion of the thesis. This study aimed to describe: (1) Intrinsic factors that influence student motivation in the completion of thesis (2) extrinsic factors that influence student motivation in the completion of the thesis. This research is a descriptive study sought to describe a situation for what it is. The population in this study were all students of guidance and counseling 2006-2007 forces numbering 25 students. Techniques used in sampling is sampling in which the total amount of the entire population sampled in the study. So the total sample of 25 people. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire. While the data used for the analysis of the percentage formula. Results of this study found that (1) the intrinsic factors that influence student motivation in the completion of the thesis is in many categories, as many as 22 students or 88% of the students expressed a lot of factors that affect motivation. (2) Extrinsic factors that influence student motivation in the completion of the thesis is in many categories, as many as 20 students or 80% of the students expressed a lot of factors that affect motivation.

Abstract

The problem in this study is what are the problems of the students moved to high school Adabiah Padang. The purpose of this study was: (1) to determine the learning problems of students move into high school Adabiah Padang (2) to determine the social problems of students move into high school Adabiah Padang (3) to determine the personal problems of students move into high school Adabiah Padang. This research is a descriptive study sought to describe a situation for what it is. The population in this study was the students who move into high school Adabiah Padang totaling 25 peoples. Sampling this study uses total sampling is sampling the researcher if the researcher has used certain considerations in sample collection. So the total sample of 25 peoples. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire. While the percentage of data analysis techniques used. The research results revealed that: 1) the problem of learners moving into high school Adabiah Padang on the demands of the subject matter is in the category with a slight percentage of 55%, is in preparation for many categories with a percentage of 85%, the motivation to learn is in a lot of categories with percentages 80%, (2) social issues students move into high school Adabiah Padang on the school environment is in many categories with a percentage of 85%, with the social problems of teachers are in many categories with a percentage of 95%, the social problems with peers that are in many categories with a percentage of 80% (3) personal problems of students move into high school Adabiah Padang about emotional problems are in many categories with a percentage of 55%, physical problems are in many categories with a percentage of 90%.
