Abstract

Ubud adalah salah satu destinasi wisaya favorit di Bali. Ubud memiliki sumber daya dan keindahan alam potensial yang dapat dikembangkan menjadi industri wisata, contohnya dengan mengelola sungai. Salah satu pengelolaannya dengan mengembangkan sebuah River Club, yang dirancang dengan konsep tidak jauh berbeda dari club pada umumnya, tetapi menawarkan sensasi berbeda karena terletak di pinggir sungai sehingga wisatawan tidak hanya menikmati keindahan alam, namun juga fasilitas yang tersedia dalam club ini. Perancangan interior di River Club di Sayan, Ubud bertujuan agar River Club ini dapat digunakan sebagaitempat hiburan menikmati pesona keindahan alam sungai. Selain itu, dengan perancangan River Club ini akan dapat menciptakan lapangan kerja baru sehingga dapat meningkatkan perekonomian daerah melalui peningkatakan pendapatan daerah tersebut.

Abstract

The purpose of this report is to provide an overview of the preparation and implementation of Community Service activities at the Bali Institute of Design and Business in making murals at the Astagina Padangsambian Klod Denpasar field. The benefit of this report is that it provides an overview of the process of preparing and working on a mural as a form of cultural re-interpretation which also supports the vision and mission of Denpasar City as a cultural-minded creative city. The method used in the process and work of this Community Service is to prepare designs inspired by Balinese culture such as kite, congklak, tajog, Barong dance, etc. which are then visualized through a mural with a flat design with attractive colors. The results of the Community Service activities through the reinterpretation of Balinese culture on the mural at Astagina Field, Padangsambian Klod, give a new color to the Astagina field walls as well as provide cultural education to the local community and the general public.

Abstract

The purpose of this report is to provide an explanation of the visibility, legibility and readability aspects in the design of the Kahyangan Kaja Temple sign board, Panjer Village, Denpasar. This report is part of the Community Service activities of the Bali Design and Business Institute in the manufacture of Environmental Facilities at Banjar Maniksaga, Panjer Village, Denpasar. The benefit of this report is that it pays attention to the condition of design facilities in public spaces, one of which is the Kahyangan Kaja Temple sign board which is owned by the people of Panjer Village as well as giving consideration in designing the public space sign board to the public. This report is carried out using a descriptive analysis method to describe the considerations of the visibility, legibility and readability aspects in terms of material selection, typography and placement in the design. With these considerations, it is hoped that the public will be more aware of the existence of the Kahyangan Temple and at the same time support the aesthetics of the Kahyangan Temple in Panjer Village, Denpasar, as well as provide an overview of the design aspects that support the optimization of the function of a nameplate in a public space.
