Abstract

Shallot is an important commodity that becomes the basic food needs of the Indonesian people. Farmers generally use chemical or inorganic fertilizers in their cultivation activities. Inorganic fertilizers can accelerate the growing period because the nutrients can be absorbed directly by the soil. However, the continuous use of inorganic fertilizers can harm the soil and the environment, then to avoid this is to switch to using organic fertilizers. Manure is one of the organic fertilizers that can increase the availability of nutrients for plants. With the presence of intensive bacteria, it can accelerate the availability of nutrients. Bacteria whose role is to decompose organic matter are called PGPR. This study aims to (i) know the interactions (ii) know the single factor of cow manure (iii) know the single factor of bamboo root PGPR (iv) get the best interaction (v) get the best dose of cow manure (vi) get the best dose of bamboo root PGPR. This research was carried out in alluvial land in Tabalong District from March-June 2019. This study used a factorial randomized block design with the treatment is a dose of cow manure, namely: p1=10 t/ha, p2=20 t/ha, p3=30 t/ha, while the bamboo roots PGPR are: b1=20 ml, b2=25 ml, and b3=30 ml, so the combination is 9 treatments. The results showed that the observed variables were plant height, number of leaves, number of tubers, tuber diameter and tuber weight only affected plant height with a single factor treatment of cow manure and the best dose was 20 t/ha.Shallot is an important commodity that becomes the basic food needs of the Indonesian people. Abstract

Ratoon paddy is one alternative that can be developed by farmers as the plant after the first rice harvest. Ratun rice is chicks of rice that grow back after the main rice was harvest. Utilization of ratoon paddy aims to increase the productivity of paddy for  a growing season. The giving of liquid organic fertilizer (LOF) can be improve the physical, chemical and biological of soil, help improve crop production, increase product quality of plants. LOF can provide the nutrient needs of the plants on land, because its liquid so if there is overcapacity of fertilizer on the ground then the plant  itselfwill be easy to regulate the absorption of fertilizer composition is needed. This  research aims at (i) to know how the giving of various concentrations of LOF to growth and yield of the ratoon paddy, (ii) to get the best concentrations of  LOF  to growth and yield of the ratoon paddy. This research was carried out in Wawai Village of Batang Alai Selatan District, Hulu Sungai Tengah Regency in March - June 2016, using Randomized Group Design (RGD), with 4 treatments and 6 repeat with 4 plants as the sample so that there are 96 plants were observed. The factors tested are  the concentration of the LOF there are p0 = without LOF, p1 = 3 mℓ / ℓ water, p2 = 6 mℓ / ℓ water, p3 = 9 mℓ / ℓ water. The results of this study show that treatment of the concentration LOF has very real influence for high plant at the age of 10, 20 and 30 Day After Spray Treatment (DAST), number of leaves at the age of  10, 20 and 30 DAST, number of chicks at the age of 10, 20 and 30 DAST, number of panicles, weight of grains, and number of grains. The best treatment is p3 with a concentration of 9 mℓ / ℓ water.

Abstract

Maize crop (Zea mays L.) is one type of food crop seeds of the grass family. This plant is one of the important food crops, in addition to wheat and rice. The productivity of maize in Indonesia in general is still low, the cause other than packet proper cultivation and use of high yielding varieties impartial fertilization also not done. Along with organic farming, the use of various types of organic fertilizers both solid and liquid is also used to maize crop. This study aims to (i) to determine the liquid organic fertilizer application and (ii) determine the best dose of a liquid organic fertilizer application on the growth and yield of sweet maize. The research was conducted in the Nalui Village District of Jaro Tabalong Regency from May to August 2015. This study used a randomized group design (RGD) single factor. Factors studied were doses of liquid organic fertilizer by 5 treatments, namely: (p0) 0 cc.plot-1  (p1) 200 cc.plot-1  (p2) 400 cc.plot-1  (p3) 600 cc.petak -1 and (p0) 800 cc.plot-1  . The results of various doses of liquid organic fertilizer showed a significant influence on plant height at 28 and 35 days after planting (DAP), giving a significant influence on the cob weight, the length of the cob with husks and cobs without husks long. No effect on plant height at 14 and 21 DAP and leaf number aged 14, 21, 28 and 35 DAP. Liquid organic fertilizer dose of 800 cc.plot-1  gave the best growth and yield of the crop of sweet maize.

Abstract

Almost all societies use beans. Beans are the usual food consumed by the people of Indonesia. The local microorganism (MOL) is a fermented solution based on various locally available resources. MOL solution contains micro and macro nutrients and also contains potential bacteria as organic material remodel, growth stimulant and as agent of plant pests and diseases. The purpose of this study was to determine the growth response and plant yield (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) to various doses of MOL banana cobs, and get the best dose. This research was conducted at BPTP South Kalimantan in Muara Rintis Village, Batang Alai Utara Subdistrict, Hulu Sungai Tengah Regency, from April to July 2017. This research uses single factor RAK with 4 levels ie m1 = 125 ml per plant, m2 = 250 ml per plant , m3 = 375 ml per plant, m4 = 500 ml per plant each treatment was repeated 6 times so that there were 24 experimental units. The results showed no effect on the observed variables.

Abstract

Feed corn is a new commodity developed in Balangan Regency. Some parts of this feed corn are not used and are just left alone by farmers who are classified as agricultural waste. This feed corn plant waste be used as a LOF. This LOF is used to increase the..growth of sweet corn plants. This study aims (i) effect LOF waste corn feed on sweet corn plants. (ii)the best concentration. This research was conducted in Tabuan Village, Halong District, Balangan Regency, South Kalimantan Province from June - August 2021, using a single factor RBD. The factors  studied  were the application of..LOF..from corn waste feed (W) as much as 5 levels namely w1 = 28.5 cc. plot-1 , w2 = 85.5 cc.plot-1, w3 = 142.5 cc.plot-1, w4 = 199.5 cc. plot-1, w5 = 256.5 cc.plot-1. The.results .this.study..the LOF treatment of feed corn waste had a significant effect on plant variables aged 28 DAP, but had no effect on plant variables aged 14 and 21 DAP, length of cob with and without husks, the weight of cobs with and without husks. The best feeding corn waste POC was l3 (142.5 cc.plot-1) of plant height and stem diameter at 28 DAP with l1 (28.5 cc.plot-1) on the variable number of leaves at 28 DAP.

Abstract

Cuttings play an important role in pepper plant seedling because it is more effective, efficient, and practical, and the resulting seeds have the same properties as the parent tree. Use of ZPT to spur the formation of rooting in cuttings. The composition of planting media has the ability to provide nutrients needed by plants to support the needs of live cuttings. This research aims to (i) to know the effectiveness of Rootone F interaction and media combination (ii) to know the effectiveness of Rootone F (iii) to know effectiveness of media combination (iv) to get the best dosage interaction effect of Rootone F and media combination (v) getting the best  dosage Rootone F (vi) getting the best media combination on pepper plant propagation by cuttings. Using Factorial Random Block Design, the first factor is the dosage of Rootone F are f0 = 0 g.ℓ-1, f1 = 6 g.ℓ-1, f2 = 12 g.ℓ-1, f3 = 18 g.ℓ-1. The second factor is the combination of planting medium that is m0 = soil, m1 = soil + rice husk (2: 1), m2 = soil + chicken manure (2: 1), m3 = soil + rice husk + 2: 1: 1) with a combination of the two factors studied yielded 16 treatment combinations with three replicates as a group to obtain 48 experimental units. The experimental results showed that single factor of Rootone F had no effect while single factor of media combination and interaction between the two had an effect on shoot length and leaf number at 49 HST. The best treatment of media combination is m0 (soil) while the interaction of Rootone F and media combination is m0f2 (soil + dose 12 g.ℓ-1).

Abstract

The purpose of tillage for preparing seedbed place, exterminaring weeds, putting in and fusing plant’s residue to the land in order to find the land condition that needed by root so it will increase air circulation, water infiltration, root growth and take the nutrients by the root. The low productivity of alabio’s yam today because the tillage is still traditional in planting, and no specially treatments given to the land. This research has purpose to know the influence of the tillage method to growth alabio’s yam (Dioscorea alata L.). This research is conducted at Pasar Sabtu Village, Sungai Tabukan District, Hulu Sungai Utara Regency from May until June 2015. This study used a Randomized Block Design (RBD) single factor. Factor studied is tillage method, (t0) zero tillage, (t1) minimum tillage, (t2) maximum tillage. Research result shows that the tillage method given is significant to the plant’s height and the number of leaves at the age of 14 and 21 DAP, significant to the rod’s diameter at the age of 42 DAP and very significant to the plant’s height and the leaves at the age of 28, 35 and 42 DAP, and no significant to the rod’s diameter at the age of 14, 21, 28 and 35 DAP. Maximum tillage gives the best growth for alabio’s yam.

Abstract

Curly chilli are versatile plants, mainly used as household consumption such as herbs but can also be used in the food processing industry. Lebak wetland nature and character similar to acid sulfate soil that affects the physical, chemical and biological soil, to solving issues specifically to support the cultivation of curly chilli, one attempts to do is to provide input inorganic materials. This study aims to (i) know the biofertilizer, and (ii) get the best dosage application the biofertilizer to the growth and yield of curly chilli on lebak wetlands. This research was held at Pasar Senin Village, Amuntai Tengah District, Hulu Sungai Utara Regency from May to August 2012. This research used Randomized Block Design (RBD), with 5 treatments and 5 replicates, so get 25 units of exspriment. Factor test is biofertilizers, which are: t0 = 0 cc 1-1, 1-1 cc t1 = 1, t2 = 2 cc 1-1, 1-1 cc t3 = 3, t4 = 4 cc 1-1 . The results of this study indicate that biofertilizer treatment highly significant for all variables are observed, namely plant height, total of productive branches, fruit weight and total of fruit crops. Biofertilizer treatment 4 cc.l-1is the best treatment for all variables.

Abstract

Paddy (Oryza sativa L.) is a commodity that is widely cultivated by the people of Hulu Sungai Utara, because the area is in the low land in the form of lebak swamps. Generally cultivated rice varieties that have early maturity. The use of various new superior rice varieties is one way to increase rice productivity in addition to fertilization. By giving various doses of biofertilizer, it is expected to increase rice productivity. This study aims to determine (i) the effect of the interaction of varieties and biofertilizers, (ii) the influence of rice varieties (iii) the effect of biofertilizers, (iv) the best interaction of rice varieties and biofertilizer (v) the best rice varieties and (vi) the best dosage of biofertilizers for the growth and yield of rice plants in swampy swamps. Using a Randomized Factor Two-factor factorial group. The first factor was 3 varieties of rice (V) and the second factor was the administration of biofertilizers (P) with 5 doses. The results showed that there was an effect of rice variety interaction on the number of tillers aged 27 HST, obtained the best varieties of v1 treatment (Inpari 17 varieties) and biofertilizers at p0 treatment affected the number of tillers aged 37 HST in lebak swamps.

Abstract

Soybean is a much needed agricultural commodity in Indonesia. Soybean production in South Kalimantan in 2012 is 3,860 tons of dry weihgt (tDW), in 2013 4,072 tBK, in 2014 8,946 tDW, in 2015 10,537 tDW. Varieties play an important role in soybean production, because to achieve high yields are highly determined by genetic potential. Potential results in the field are influenced by the interaction between genetic factors with the management of climatic and soil environmental conditions. In podsolic soils and soils containing a lot of quartz sand, soybean growth is poor, unless the soil is given additional organic fertilizer. Bioertilizer is a fertilizer whose main content is living organisms (microorganisms) that are beneficial for plant growth. This study aims to (i) know the growth and yield of two soybean varieties with the provision of biological fertilizers (ii) to obtain the best soybean varieties with the provision of biofertilizer. The research was conducted in March - May 2017 at BPTP Experimental Plant of South Kalimantan Muara Rintis Village, District of Batang Alai Utara Regency of Hulu Sungai Tengah. The treatments were two varieties of soybean namely the national superior varieties (Anjosmoro) and local varieties given biological fertilizer. The result of research shows that all observation variables significantly affect with the best soybean varieties are Anjosmoro Varieties.
