Abstract

Beans are a kind of edible beans. Beans are rich in protein and vitamins that help lower blood pressure and monitor blood sugar metabolism and are equated with being eaten by those who suffer from diabetes or hypertension. High fiber and enzyme content can help you lose weight. In peanut cultivation it needs to be optimized considering the consumption needs are not comparable with production, One way to increase the productivity of peanut plants is proper fertilization, such as by using organic fertilizers. This study aims (i) to determine the effect of EMRAS on the growth and yield of beans (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) on swampy swamp land. (ii) Getting the best concentration between EMRAS and growth and yield of beans (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) on swamp swamp land. This research was carried out on swamp swamp land in Teluk Buluh Village, Banjang District, Hulu Sungai Utara Regency in May - July 2013, using a Randomized Block Design (RBD), with 6 treatments and 4 replications, resulting in 24 experimental units and each experiment. consists of 2 sample plants, so that the total sample is 48 plants. Abstract

Bananas are one of the horticultural commodities is very popular in the world because it was delicious, the price is relatively cheap and have high nutritional value. Production of banana plants in Hulu Sungai Utara still relatively low because only bananas cultivated on a small and not available the procurement of seeds. To overcome these obstacles do necessary aside propagated using tissue culture techniques. ZPT which are often used to stimulate the formation of shoots in vitro culture banana is cytokinin as BAP. Cytokines in vitro culture has two important roles that stimulate cell division and the formation and propagation of axillary buds and adventitious buds, but the optimum levels of cytokines that can inhibit the growth and root formation. The purpose of this study is to get (i) the effect of various concentrations of BAP on plant growth kepok banana in vitro, (ii) the best BAP concentration for plant growth kepok banana in vitro. Abstract

The people of Hulu Sungai Utara Regency are very fond of pineapple, this can be seen from the continued increase in market demand for pineapple. Pineapple production in Hulu Sungai Utara Regency from 2010-2013 continues to increase. However, the availability of pineapple is still widely supplied from other regions. This is due to limited land and the availability of superior seeds. Therefore we need a new technique to overcome this problem by multiplying it in vitro. This study aims (i) to determine the response of pineapple plant growth to various concentrations of IBA (Indole Butyric Acid) in vitro and (ii) to obtain the best IBA (Indole Butyric Acid) concentration for pineapple plant growth in vitro. The study was conducted in the Amuntai STIPER tissue culture laboratory from March to June 2014, using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 5 treatment levels, 4 replications. The factor tested was the IBA concentration, i1 = 1.5 ppm, i2 = 2 ppm, i3 = 2.5 ppm, i4 = 3 ppm, and i5 = 3.5 ppm. The results showed no known response and the best concentration of IBA on pineapple plant growth.
