Abstract

The article that the researcher created serves to describe how the role of the librarian in increasing student interest in reading at SMAN 1 Sungai Tarab. In the new normal period, the management of the librarian has an important role in increasing student interest in reading at SMAN 1 Sungai Tarab. In an effort to increase student interest in reading, the head of librarianship needs to form an effective and optimal strategy. This study aims to examine the strategy of the librarian in increasing student interest in reading at SMAN 1 Sungai Tarab. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach with the type of phenomenology. In this study, in collecting the data needed to achieve the objectives of this study, the researchers used observation, interviews with the librarian of SMAN 1 Sungai Tarab, and also documentation. The results of the research that the researchers conducted showed that there were 2 special strategies for the head of the library at SMAN 1 Sungai Tarab in the process of increasing students' reading interest. The strategy chosen by the head of the library in this case is to form a young librarian, the library trolley (TROPUS). Recommendations and suggestions from this research are that the head of the Received: 11-01-2022; Revised: 15-02-2022; Accepted: 19-06-2022 58 AL-FIKRAH,Volume X Nomor 1, Juni 2022 library can cooperate with all staff and students in developing a new implementation-oriented strategy using TROPUS for all implementers in order to be able to increase students' reading interest with the new adequate facilities.

Abstract

The main problem in this research is the lack of effectiveness in implementing conflict management by educators, student representatives, BK teachers, and homeroom teachers. This study aims to describe how conflict management plans in solving problems, how to implement conflict management in solving problems, and how to evaluate conflict management in solving student problems at MTsN 1 Tanah Datar. This study used a qualitative analysis which took place at MTsN 1 Tanah Datar. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. Then to test the validity of the data used is the persistence of the observer, and triangulation. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of conflict management carried out in solving student problems includes planning which at this stage does not directly involve the principal and only general planning, there is no more specific planning, only short-term and long-term programs as conflict management at MTsN 1 Tanah Datar. In the implementation of conflict management which has been going quite well, but there are some things that still need to be considered, such as there are still educators who use violence and do not carry out the steps that have been regulated in conflict management theory in solving student problems.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the training design of the ADDIE model in improving the performance of library employees. Therefore, it is necessary to provide training to librarians as an effort to equip librarians to be proficient and understand the main tasks and functions that will be carried out, especially in carrying out excellent service in the library. This research uses a library research approach. The data sources in this research consist of primary data sources obtained from journals, and secondary data sources obtained from books related to the Addie model librarian training design in improving the performance of library employees. The data collection techniques used in this study are in the form of documentation. The results of the study stated that the learning design of the ADDIE model can improve the performance of library employees by using several steps, including Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation. The performance of library employees is said to increase when they have loyalty to work, high discipline, and have high creativity in carrying out excellent service in the library. Able to cooperate and actively participate in the university library where they serve.
