Abstract

Student Activity Sheet (LKPD) is an activity sheet containing tasks carried out by students, containing instructions, steps to complete a task in the form of theory or practice. LKPD can be used to improve students' creative thinking skills because the use of LKPD involves activities such as investigation and thinking activities such as analyzing and solving problems. LKPD development aims to determine the validity of LKPD, student responses and the effectiveness of LKPD in improving creative thinking skills. LKPD development using the ADDIE method, data collection techniques in this study were descriptive analysis and N-gain test. The samples in this study were two design expert lecturers, material experts and learning experts, as well as class VIII and 30 class VIII students of junior high school RK Deli Murni Delitua. Based on the validation of design experts, learning experts and media material experts, students' responses are very good and LKPD can improve students' creative thinking skills, which can be seen from the N-gain calculation, which is 0.71 high category

Abstract

Abstract This research was carried outto study student learning outcomes using case study and conventional method and its comparison using both ofmethods.The problem of conventional class with teacher-centered learning are: 1) student doesn’t understand how to connect physics concept in technology and daily life, 2) student can not solve contextual physics problems, 3) critical thinking is not developed. Case study method was choosen in this study in order to develop student critical thinking and their ability to solve contextual physics problems. Experimental research method using experiment and control class was conducted in this study. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran inquiry training terhadap hasil belajar siswa di kelas X Semester II SMA Negeri 2 Percut Sei Tuan T.P. 2016/2017. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Percut Sei Tuan yang terdiri dari 4 kelas. Sampel penelitian ini diambil dengan teknik Class Random Sampling yang terdiri dari 2 kelas yaitu kelas X-MIA3 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan X-MIA 4 sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen penelitian  berupa  tes pilihan berganda dan lembar observasi untuk mengukur hasil belajar dan aktivitas siswa. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh nilai rata-rata pretes kelas eksperimen 35,14 dan kelas kontrol 34,41. Setelah diberi perlakuan yaitu kelas eksperimen dengan pembelajaran inquiry training dan kelas kontrol dengan pembelajaran konvensional diperoleh data postes dengan hasil rata-rata kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol adalah 86,13 dan 78,19. Pada pengujian data postes kedua kelas diperoleh bahwa data kedua kelas berdistribusi normal dan homogeny serta ada pengaruh yang signifikan model pembelajaran Inquiry Training terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Selama proses pembelajaran nilai rata-rata aktivitas belajar siswa kelas eksperimen adalah 75 dengan kategori aktif. Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh model pembelajaran inquiry training terhadap hasil belajar pada materi pokok Momentum dan Impuls di kelas X Semester II SMA Negeri 2 Percut Sei Tuan T.P. 2016/2017.Kata kunci: Inquiry Training, Hasil belajar, Aktivitas s

Abstract

Development of a Three-Tier Multiple Choice Diagnostic Test to determine the level of misconceptions of SMA/MA students regarding temperature and heat.The use of a three-tier multiple choice diagnostic test instrument can determine the level of student misconceptions. This research and development aims to determine the level of student misconceptions regarding temperature and heat material. This research is R&D research with a 4D development model. This research used 3 validators and 30 research subjects in class XII MIA 2 MAN Binjai. The percentage of students who experienced the most misconceptions was 90% in question 10. The average percentage of students who experienced misconceptions was 58.2%. Based on the results obtained, the three-tier multiple choice diagnostic test instrument developed was effective in determining the level of misconceptions experienced by students regarding temperature and heat material so that the questions could be distributed.

Abstract

Jenis penelitian ini adalah Quasi Experimental dengan Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu mengkaji pengaruh model Problem Based Learning (PBL) terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah serta self efficacy siswa pada materi keanekaragaman hayati. Penelitian dilakukan di SMP Swasta Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMPS Muhammadiyah 1 Medan yang berlokasi di Jalan Demak No. 3, Kelurahan Sei Rengas Permata, Kecamatan Medan Area, Kota Medan, pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2024/2025, yakni pada bulan April hingga Mei 2025. Populasi penelitian ini mencakup 232 siswa kelas VII yang terbagi di 7 kelas di SMP Swasta Muhammadiyah 01 Medan pada tahun ajaran 2024/2025. Sampel dalam penelitian ini diperoleh melalui teknik simple random sampling. Model PBL digunakan pada kelas eksperimen, sedangkan kelas kontrol dengan model Direct Instruction. Proses pengumpulan data melibatkan dua alat ukur, yaitu tes esai dan angket. Alat ukur yang digunakan meliputi tes pemecahan masalah sebanyak 4 soal yang disusun berdasarkan teori John Dewey dan angket self-efficacy memuat 20 item pernyataan yang dikembangkan berdasarkan indikator dari Bandura. Hasil analisis menunjukkan perbedaannya tidak signifikan pada pretest antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol, tetapi setelah perlakuan kelas eksperimen menunjukkan kenaikan yang signifikan, kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan self-efficacy menunjukkan hasil yang signifikan dengan nilai p sebesar 0,000 (< 0,05). Uji effect size menunjukkan pengaruh model PBL yang tinggi terhadap kedua variabel, dengan nilai Cohen’s d masing-masing 1,70 dan 1,67. Hasil ini menunjukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penerapan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan self efficacy siswa pada materi Keanekaragaman Hayati di kelas VII SMP Swasta Muhammadiyah 01 Medan.

Abstract

The study aims to determine the effect of differentiated learning using learning style-oriented Student Worksheets (LKPD) on student learning outcomes in sound wave material at MAN Binjai T.P 2022/2023. This type of research is quasi-experimental, and the research design is a Control Group Pre-Test-Post-Test Design with a population of all students of class XI MIA MAN Binjai consisting of 4 classes. The research sample was taken by two classes determined by random sampling technique, with XI MIA-3 as the experimental class, totaling 35 people who were treated with differentiated learning using learning style-oriented worksheets, and the control class XI MIA-4, totaling 35 people who were given inquiry learning treatment. The instrument used was a multiple-choice test of learning outcomes with 15 validated questions and student learning activity assessment sheets in the experimental class. The results of the data analysis obtained an increase in student learning outcomes in the experimental class of 73.71 and the control class of 65.33. In addition, the increase in student activity in each meeting was very good. After implementing differentiated learning using learning style-oriented worksheets, the results significantly affected student learning outcomes in sound waves material at MAN Binjai T.P 2022/2023.
