Abstract

This study aims: 1) to determine differences in science process skills of students with learning model inquiry training and conventional learning models, 2) to determine the difference science process skills of students who have high creativity and creativity is low, 3) to determine the interaction model of learning inquiry trainingwith creativity of the science process skills. The sampling technique conducted cluster random sampling two classes, where first class as a class experiment with the number of students 32 people applied learning model inquiry training (X-1) and the second class as a class control the number of students 32 people who applied conventional learning model ( X-2). Instruments in this study is the science process skills test and a test of creativity in the form of a description. From these results it can be concluded that: 1) science process skills of students that learned with a learning model inquiry training is better than the students that learned with conventional learning models, 2)science process skills of students with high creativity better than students with creativity is low, 3) there is interaction between inquirylearning model training and creativity in influencing the science process skills of students.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze, student’s science process skills who are taught by inquiry training learning model using mind mapping is better than the students that taught with conventional learning, science process skills in students who have motivated above average are better compared with students who have the motivation below average, and the interaction between the inquiry training learning model using mind mapping and motivation in improving students' science process skills. This research was conducted by quasiexperimental. The sample selection was done by cluster random sampling that were class X2 and X1. The research instrument was using science process skills test in the form of descriptions and tests of motivation in the form of a questionnaire. The data were analyzed by ANOVA two lanes. The results showed that: The ability of students’ physics science process skills using inquiry training learning using mind mapping is better than the ability of students’ science process skills using conventional learning model. The ability of students’ physics science process skills in motivational groups are above average better than the ability of students’ physics science process skills  in conventional groups which are below average, and In this research, motivation above average dominant improves science process skills in Inquiry Training model using mind mapping rather than in conventional learning model

Abstract

The aims of this research were to analyze science process skills of students using Inquiry Training Learning Model use Macromedia Flash on science process skills of students compare using conventional learning, analyze science process skills ofstudents who have high category in creative thinking ability better than low category in creative thinking ability, and analyze the interaction between Inquiry Training learning model use Macromedia Flash and the level of creative thinking ability in improving the science process skills. The research type was quasi experiment andtwo group pretest-posttest designs were used in this study. The sample was choosen by using cluster random class technique. The instrument was consist of science process skills test and creative thinking ability test. Data in this research was analyzed by using twoway Anova. The results of this research showed that the inquiry training learning model use macromedia flash was better than conventional learning in improving the students science process skills, the science process skills of the students who had highcategory in creative thinking ability was better than low category, and there was interaction between inquiry training learning model use macromedia flash and the level of creative thinking ability in improving students science process skills.

Abstract

This research was done to observe the difference of learning achievement between student who have been teach by Enhancement Learning Model of Student’s Thinking Ability and Conventional Model. This research was done at SMP Negeri 2 Gebang. Type of this research is quasi experiment. Research population is every student of grade VIII semester 2 SMP Negeri 2 Gebang. Research sample was taken by random sampling around 2 classes as 34 students for experiment class and 34 students for control class. Learning achievement of test objective 20 of multiple choice was done as an instrument. The experiment result of pretest average is 37.94 for experiment class and 36.82 for control class. Treatment was done to each class, post test average score is 73.38 for experiment class and for student who have been teach by conventional learning is 67.05. Hypothetical testing is tcalculate > ttabe i.e 3.459 > 1.66 with significance standard α = 0.05 and dk = 66. It means that Ha was accepted, so it may conclude that there is a difference of learning achievement between Enhancement Learning Model of Student’s Thinking Ability with Conventional Learning Model for Force and Newton Laws on Grade VIII SMP Negeri 2 Gebang Annual Year 2011/2012.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to analyze science process skill of students taught by training inquiry learning model better than taught by conventional learning, science process skill of students who have the  logical thinking ability above the average better than students who have the logical thinking ability below the average and analyze interaction between learning model and the logical thinking ability of students in influencing the science process skill of students. The research type was quasi experiment. The population was students Class X SMA Negeri 1 Tambangan Kabupaten Mandailing Natal. The cluster random class technique was used in choosing the research sample. The instruments were consists of the test of science process skill and the test of logical thinking ability of students. The used test to obtain the data was essay test. The data in this research was analyzed by using the two ways ANAVA analysis. The research result showed that science process skill of students taught by training inquiry learning model was better than students taught by conventional learning, science process skill of students who have the logical thinking ability above the average was better than students who have the logical thinking ability below the average, and there was interaction between learning model and logical thinking ability of students in influencing the science process skill of students.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the students’ problem solving ability in problem solving model and conventional learning, analyze the students’ problem solving ability between the students who have understanding the concept above the average and the students who have understanding below the average, and also analyze the interaction between the learning model and the understanding concept on the students’ problem solving ability. This research is quasi experiment. Sample selection was done by using random class technique twice, where the first class was taught problem solving model while the second class was taught conventional learning. The instrument which was used consisted of the tests of problem solving ability and test of understanding the concept. The data in this research was analyzed by using two way anova. The result of this research showed that the students’ problem solving ability who was taught problem solving model was better than the students’ problem solving ability who was taught conventional, the students’ problem solving ability with understanding the concept above the average showed a better result than the students with understanding the concept below the average, and there was an interaction between problem solving model and understanding the concept on the students’ problem solving ability

Abstract

ABSTRAK Tujuan utama dalam penelitian ini adalah menyusun perangkat pembelajaran mata pelajaran fisika SMA yang berbasis model pembelajaran konstruktivis yakni model pembelajaran  inquiry training dan model pembelajaran direct instruction, yang meliputi (1)  rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran, lembar kerja siswa (LKS), tes hasil belajar Fisika, dan instrumen kemampuan berpikir logis. Target khusus yang ingin dicapai adalah meningkatkan hasil belajar dan kemampuan berpikir logis siswa. Untuk mencapai target ini dilakukan penelitian pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran fisika berbasis model pembelajaran konstruktivis untuk siswa SMA. Pengembangan dan penelitian eksperimental ini dilaksanakan dalam tiga tahap. Produk tahap pertama adalah draf perangkat pembelajaran fisika untuk kelas X, materi pokok gerak lurus dengan model pembelajaran inquiry training dan model pembelajaran direct instruction. Tahap kedua menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran yang telah mengalami uji guru, uji ahli dan uji kelas. Tahap ketiga menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran yang telah mengalami uji keunggulan komparatif dengan rancangan penelitian factorial 2x2. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 3 Medan. Dari penelitian eksperimental yan dilakukan pada tahap 3 diperoleh: (1) Hasil belajar Fisika siswa SMA  yang dibelajarkan dengan  model  pembelajaran inquiry training lebih tinggi dari yang dibelajarkan dengan model  pembelajaran direct instruction, (2) Terdapat pengaruh interaksi antara model pembelajaran dan tingkat kemampuan berpikir terhadap hasil belajar Fisika siswa, (3) Siswa SMA dengan tingkat kemampuan berpikir logis formal yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran inquiry training memiliki hasil belajar Fisika yang lebih tinggi daripada dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran  direct instruction dan (4) Siswa SMA yang memiliki tingkat kemampuan berpikir logis konkrit yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran direct instruction memiliki hasil belajar Fisika yang lebih tinggi  daripada dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran inquiry training.   Kata Kunci: Model pembelajaran konstruktivis, hasil belajar, kemampuan berpikir logis

Abstract

  ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the effect of problem-based learning model on student learning outcomes in the subject matter of temperature and heat in the second half of class X SMA Negeri 1 Delitua. This research is quasi-experimental. The study population was all students of class X SMA Negeri 1 Delitua which consists of 10 classes then performed by means of cluster sampling random sampling. The instrument used to determine student learning outcomes are achievement test in the form of essay tests totaling 10 questions. The results were obtained an average value of the experimental class pretest 31,90 and control class 30,48 . Once the data pretest is normal and homogeneous difference test second grade values ​​obtained that both classes have the same initial ability. Then given a different treatment, the experimental class with a problem-based learning model and grade control with conventional models. From the observation of student activity conducted by the observer in experimental class found that the average value of three times the activity of students meeting with a fairly active category. The average value of 71,63 posttest experimental class and control class 67,48. Once the data posttest is normal and homogeneous difference test second grade values ​​obtained that there is a difference due to the influence model of problem-based learning on learning outcomes of students in the subject matter of temperature and heat in class X SMA Negeri 1 Delitua. Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of research is to determine the effect of student learning outcomes with inquiry learning model to determine the training and learning activities of students during the learning process in the subject matter and the temperature of the heat in the second half of class X SMA Negeri 1 Percut Sei Tuan. This research is a quasi experiment. The population is the entire second semester of tenth grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Percut Sei Tuan consisting of 4 classes. Sampling was done by cluster random sampling MIA3 elected as class class X and class X experiments MIA2 as the control class. The instruments used in the form of multiple-choice tests and observation sheets. Results were obtained an average value 38.86 pretest experimental class and control class pretest 37.57. The average value of 76.29 posttest experimental class and control class 62.86. Increased activity of the experimental class students overall increase was 33% category. Based on the analysis of the hypothesis testing, the results of student learning as a result of the influence of the inquiry learning model of training is better than conventional learning on material temperature and heat. Keywords: learning model of inquiry training, learning results   ABSTRAK Tujuan Penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh hasil belajar siswa dengan model pembelajaran inquiry training dan untuk mengetahui aktivitas belajar siswa selama proses pembelajaran pada materi pokok suhu dan kalor di kelas X semester II SMA Negeri 1 Percut Sei Tuan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperiment. Populasi dalam penelitian  adalah seluruh siswa kelas X semester II SMA Negeri 1 Percut Sei Tuan yang terdiri dari 4 kelas. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan cara cluster random sampling terpilih kelas X MIA3 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas X MIA2 sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam bentuk tes pilihan berganda dan lembar observasi. Hasil penelitian diperoleh nilai rata-rata pretes kelas eksperimen 38,86 dan pretes kelas kontrol 37,57. Nilai rata-rata postes kelas eksperimen 76,29 dan kelas kontrol 62,86. Peningkatan aktivitas siswa kelas eksperimen secara keseluruhan 33% kategori peningkatan sedang. Berdasarkan hasil analisis uji hipotesis satu pihak, diperoleh hasil belajar siswa akibat pengaruh model pembelajaran inquiry training lebih baik daripada pembelajaran konvensional pada materi suhu dan kalor.   Kata kunci : model pembelajaran inquiry training, hasil belajar
