Abstract

This study aims to analyze, student’s science process skills who are taught by inquiry training learning model using mind mapping is better than the students that taught with conventional learning, science process skills in students who have motivated above average are better compared with students who have the motivation below average, and the interaction between the inquiry training learning model using mind mapping and motivation in improving students' science process skills. This research was conducted by quasiexperimental. The sample selection was done by cluster random sampling that were class X2 and X1. The research instrument was using science process skills test in the form of descriptions and tests of motivation in the form of a questionnaire. The data were analyzed by ANOVA two lanes. The results showed that: The ability of students’ physics science process skills using inquiry training learning using mind mapping is better than the ability of students’ science process skills using conventional learning model. The ability of students’ physics science process skills in motivational groups are above average better than the ability of students’ physics science process skills  in conventional groups which are below average, and In this research, motivation above average dominant improves science process skills in Inquiry Training model using mind mapping rather than in conventional learning model

Abstract

This study specifically aims to describe the effectiveness of the Wattpad media in increasing reading interest in class XI students at SMK YPK Mabar Kec. Medan Deli. This research is a type of non-experimental quantitative research using the correlational method, namely research by assessing the relationship between two or more phenomena. The sample in this study was class XI SMK YPK Mabar as many as 20 students with simple random sampling technique. The instruments and techniques used to collect data in this study were non-test instruments consisting of questionnaires, interviews, observations, and documentation. Based on the results of the study, it is known that the overall score for the X variable (use of the Wattpad application) reaches 774 scores, while the Y variable (reading interest) reaches 869 scores. The correlation between the x variable and the y variable is 0.789 with a sufficient correlation interpretation because it is between 0.600 to 0.800. If rxy (calculated value) = 0.789 is significant by r table product moment with the number of N = 20 at a significant level of 5% = 0.444 and at a level of 1% = 0.561, it turns out that the value obtained through calculations is greater than rcount, namely 0.220 < 0.789 > 0.561. So it can be said that there is a significant relationship between the use of the Wattpad application on the reading interest of the YPK Mabar Vocational High School students.

Abstract

This study aims to develop MONOKEBU learning media based on the theme "Beautiful Diversity of My Country" with attractive design, diverse menu display, and clear, accurate, and detailed material. This learning media was then evaluated by two teams of validators consisting of media experts and material experts. The evaluation results showed that MONOKEBU learning media received an average score of 86,6% from media experts and an average score of 95% from material experts, with the criteria "very feasible" to be used and developed. Student response to MONOKEBU learning media is also very positive, with a percentage of 92% stating that the media is very interesting. Students gave feedback that MONOKEBU learning media was able to attract their attention, increase interest in learning, and use simple and easy-to-understand language. In addition, students' pretest and post-test results showed significant differences, with the total post-test score increasing from 1380 to 1760, and the average score increasing from 69 to 88. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the development of MONOKEBU learning media succeeded in creating a product that is feasible and effective to use in the learning process. MONOKEBU learning media is able to attract student interest, increase understanding, and obtain better learning outcomes. Thus, MONOKEBU learning media can be used as an effective solution in improving the quality of learning with an interactive approach.

Abstract

Mengajar disekolah maupun diperguruan tinggi merupakan usaha nyata dalam menyebarluaskan pengetahuan hasil dari proses berfikir yang dilakukan selama melaksanakan proses pembelajaran. Proses berfikir sangat ditekankan bagi peserta didik dari mulai masuk kelas hingga keluar kelas melalui informasi yang diterima. Karena, dari proses berfikir inilah akan menunjukkan apakah peserta didik berhasil memiliki pengetahuan atau belum. Proses berfikir yang diharapkan adalah proses berfikir dari mengingat, memahami, melakukan, menganalisis, mengevaluasi dan mencipta. Proses inilah yang menunjukkan peserta didik melakukan proses berfikir yang berdampak pada pencapaian pengetahuan baik pengetahuan fakta, konsep, prosedural maupun metakognitif. Keterkaitan proses berfikir dengan pengetahuan dinamakan dengan tabel taksonomi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan disain penilaian proses kognitif dan pengetahuan menggunakan tabel taksonomi. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan mendisain penilaian proses berfikir dan pengetahuan dengan tahapan dari model Dick dan Carey dalam Pramita, dkk. (2016) yang terdiri dari: (1) mengidentifikasi tujuan pembelajaran, (2) melaksanakan analisis pembelajaran, (3) mendesain penilaian penilaian proses berfikir dan pengetahuan dengan beberapa tahapan tambahan yaitu menyusun dan mengevaluasi RPS. Disain penilaian proses kognitif dan pengetahuan dibangun dalam bentuk tabel yang memiliki empat (4) kolom induk dan sebelas (11) kolom rincian. Empat (4) kolom induk terdiri dari kolom nomor dengan inisial A, kolom kompetensi yang diharapkan dengan inisial B, kolom pengetahuan dengan inisial E dan kolom proses kognitif dengan inisial F. Disain penilaian proses kognitif dan pengetahuan digunakan untuk menilai proses kognitif dan pengetahuan, menilai proses kognitif dan pengetahuan didasarkan pada kompetensi yang diharapkan pada perangkat pembelajaran.

Abstract

This study aims to develop thematic learning media assisted by the InShot application on the theme of 8 young karana students and find out the feasibility and find out how students respond to the development of thematic learning media assisted by the InShot application on the theme of 8 elementary school students of class III SDN 105366 Sei Nagalawan. This study uses the ADDIE development model consisting of five stages which include analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. Learning media were evaluated by media expert validators, materials and student responses. The results of media experts get an average score of 88%, material experts get an average score of 73% and student responses get an average score of 92%. The conclusion is that the development of thematic learning video media assisted by the inshot application on the theme of 8 young students because of class III SDN 105366 Sei Nagalawan is feasible to use.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana keterlibatan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran kedisiplinan dengan menerapkan model Reward and Punishment di Kelas IV SD Negeri 060800 Medan. Penelitian ini tergolong penelitian tindakan kelas. Penelitian ini menggunakan model Stephen Kemmis dan Robin McTaggart untuk prosedurnya. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Teknik dan instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan observasi dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata kedisiplinan siswa kelas V IV SD Negeri 060800 Medan pada siklus 1 sebesar 72,58% dan pada siklus II terjadi peningkatan yang signifikan dengan hasil kedisiplinan mencapai 90,73%. Hal ini sejalan dengan pandangan Purwanto (2006) yang menyatakan bahwa ada empat unsur utama mengenai kedisiplinan, antara lain: pertama, peraturan sebagai pedoman atau acuan berperilaku. Kedua, hukuman atas pelanggaran peraturan yang telah ditetapkan. Ketiga, penghargaan atas perilaku yang sesuai dengan peraturan yang telah dibuat atau ditetapkan sebelumnya. dan keempat harus konsisten dengan peraturan yang telah ditetapkan dan metode yang telah diterapkan dalam mengajarkan dan melaksanakannya, sehingga kedisiplinan siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 060800 Medan meningkat dengan diterapkannya pemberian penghargaan dan hukuman.

Abstract

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a developmental disorder that affects an individual's ability to communicate, socialize, and adjust to his or her environment. Children with ASD often face barriers to building social relationships and exhibiting contextual behaviors. One of the widely used approaches to address this challenge is the Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) method, which focuses on reinforcing positive behaviors through learning principles. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the ABA method in improving social skills and adaptive behavior of 1st grade ASD students of SD Panca Budi Medan. Through a descriptive qualitative approach, data is collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study revealed that ABA interventions had a positive effect on improving communication skills, participation in social activities, and reducing negative behaviors in ASD students. In addition, the successful implementation of ABA depends on the active involvement of teachers in the learning process as well as parental support. The study also found obstacles such as limited parental understanding and lack of teacher training related to the ABA method. ABA is an effective method if it is carried out on an ongoing basis with collaborative support between schools and families.

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) determine the validity of the application of learning to E-LKPD based on wizer.me . 2) determine the practicality of the application of learning to E-LKPD based on wizer.me . 3) determine the response of students through E-LKPD based on wizer.me grade V on the material how we live and grow. This study is a type of research and development with reference to the ADDIE model which has 5 stages, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation . The instrument used to collect data is a questionnaire. The results of the validation of E-LKPD media experts, the overall assessment of the media expert validation obtained a percentage of 82% of 10 statements. The results of the validation of the material expert assessment obtained a percentage of 90% of 10 statements. The results of the validation of the teacher's practicality obtained a percentage of 96% of 10 statements. The results of the validation of the student response assessment obtained a percentage of 85% of 10 statements. Therefore, it can be concluded that the E-LKPD based on wizer.me on the subject of Natural Sciences, material on How We Live and Grow, grade V of Elementary School, is valid and practical to use.
