<![CDATA[ Abstract This research is aimed to determine the effect of inquiry learning model toward student’s learning outcomes in the subject matter of dynamic power in the second half of class X SMA Al Ulum Medan T.P. 2013/2014. This research is quasi-experiment with pretest-posttest control group design, with a sample of two classes, the experimental class (X-6) and a control class (X-5). The instrument used to determine student learning outcomes are achievement test in the form of 20 multiple-choice questions with 5 options (a, b, c, d, and e) that has been validated by the validator and test predictions. The data obtained are the result of pretest and posttest. Furthermore, the data is analyzed statistically consisting of normality test, homogeneity, and hypothesis testing. The results showed that there was a significant effect on the model of inquiry learning toward learning outcomes of students inY the subject matter of dynamic power for the class of X SMA Al Ulum Medan T.P. 2013/2014. Keywords : inquiry, learning outcomes Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran inkuiri terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi pokok listrik dinamis di kelas X semester II SMA Swasta Al Ulum Medan T.P. 2013/2014. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan pretest-posttest control group design, dengan sampel penelitian dua kelas, kelas eksperimen (X-6) dan kelas kontrol (X-5). Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa adalah tes hasil belajar dalam bentuk pilihan berganda sebanyak 20 soal dengan 5 option (a, b, c, d, dan e) yang telah divalidasi oleh validator serta uji ramalan. Data yang diperoleh antara lain hasil pretes dan postes. Selanjutnya data tersebut dianalisis dengan statistik yang terdiri dari uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh yang signifikan model pembelajaran inkuiri terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi pokok listrik dinamis di kelas X SMA Swasta Al Ulum Medan T.P. 2013/2014.
