Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran scientific inquiry terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Populasi penelitian  adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI Semester II SMA Negeri 20 Medan. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan cara cluster random sampling yang berjumlah dua kelas untuk dijadikan kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen dengan menggunakan design two group pretest-postest design. Instrumen yang digunakan terdiri atas (1) tes uraian yang berjumlah 10 soal, dimana soal tersebut telah memenuhi persyaratan validitas dan reliabilitas, dan (2) Lembar aktivitas siswa. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji t, uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas sebagai prasyarat uji t telah terpenuhi. Berdasarkan analisis dan pembahasan data maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa (1) terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran scientific inquiry terhadap hasil belajar siswa, dan (2) adanya peningkatan aktivitas belajar yang lebih baik dengan menggunakan model scientific inquiry.

Abstract

The research aims to determine the relationship between creativity and cognitive learning outcomes through the use of The ICARE Practice Based on Worksheet. This type of research is experimental research. The subjects of this study were 34 students who took high school physics courses in Physics Education Study Program majoring in physics, mathematics and natural sciences faculty, Medan State University. Data on student creativity was taken through the 3 item test validation test instrument that has been validated. Cognitive learning outcome data obtained through multiple-choice test instruments as many as 25 items that have been validated. The data analysis technique used is multiple regression. The results of the analysis for the coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.472 indicate that 47.20% of learning outcomes are influenced by science process skills and creativity.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah menganalisis ketercapaian keterampilan proses sains siswa melalui LKPD berbasis saintifik menggunakan media video case pada materi m. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen. Subjek penelitian adalah kelas X MIA di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Medan kelas X MIA 4. Instrument penelitian yang digunakan adalah lembar penilaian keterampilan proses sains. Teknik analisis data menggunakan persamaan N-gain ternormalisasi untuk mengetahui ketercapaian keterampilan proses sains siswa. Hasil penelitian ketercapaian keterampilan proses sains siswa melalui LKPD berbasis saintifik menggunakan media video case pada materi momentum dengan rata-rata persentase penguasaan KPS pada LKPD adalah 78.9 %. LKPD yang digunakan cukup efektif untuk meningkatkan penguasaan keterampilan proses sains siswa yang ditandai dengan nilai rata-rata N- Gain ternornalisasi yaitu sebersar 0.54 yang memiliki kriteria sedang

Abstract

Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan lembarkegiatan mahasiswa berbasis masalah (LKMBM) Fisika Umum II. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian R & D, namun untuk menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran LKMBM digunakan model disain Dick dan Carey. Struktur isi LKMBM Fisika Umum II ini merupakan implementasi dari konsep pembelajaran berbasis masalah, dan konsep strategi pemecahan masalah. Pelaksanaan penelitian ini dibagi atas tiga tahapan yaitu tahap perencanaan, pengembangan, dan evaluasi formatif. Pelaksananaan evaluasi formatif dilaksanakan melalui tiga tahapan, yaitu: uji validasi oleh 3 orang reviewer, uji coba satu satu melibatkan 3 orang mahasiswa, uji coba kelompok kecil melibatkan 15 orang mahasiswa. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dan pembahasan, hasil penelitian ini adalah: (1) seperangkat lembar kegiatan mahasiswa berbasis masalah (LKMBM) Fisika Umum II yang ditata dalam 10 komponen, yaitu: (a) judul kegiatan, (b) tujuan pembelajaran, (c) permasalahan, (d) hipotesis, (e) pengumpulan data, (f) pembahasan, (g) simpulan, (h) daftar pustaka, (i) lampiran, dan (j) tes kompetensi; 2) hasil uji coba LKMBM beserta perangkat perangkat pendukungnya dengan melibatkan para ahli dan mahasiswa sebagai pengguna LKMBM, secara keseluruhan sudah memberikan penilaian yang baik, layak digunakan dalam perbaikan pembelajaran fisika umum.

Abstract

The purpose of the activities carried out is to provide: 1). training on learning strategies and innovative learning methods that are fun for students in the form of blended learning, 2). Training and assistance for the preparation of teaching materials, 3). training and assistance in the use of online learning information systems. The approach method in implementing this PKM uses education, training, demonstration, practice, and mentoring methods. The results of the implementation of the activities are: (1) The partner has a school website that can be used as an online learning system under the name SIPO. (2) There is an increase in teacher understanding of the application of blended learning. (3) There is an increase in the understanding of teachers in the preparation of teaching materials themselves. (4) There is an increase in the knowledge and skills of teachers in using the online learning system.

Abstract

This Study is a continuation of development research of previous year. The goals of this study are to test 1) differences in competence achievement of physics II between groups of users of the learning device based problem and users of conventional learning device 2) differences in competence achievement of physics II between high creative group and low creative group, and 3) effects of interactive learning device based problem with the ability to think creatively towards the achievement of general physics II competence. This research design is a 2x2 factorial. The population is physical education student class of 2014. Through sampling scluster techniques, set the experimental class and the control class. Each class consist of 24 peoples so the total number of samples is 48 peoples. Conclusion of research are : 1) there are differences in competence achievement of general physics II between the group using the learning device based problem and using the conventional learning device, 2) there are differences in competence achievement of general physics II between high creative group and low creative group, and 3) there are no interactive learning device based problem with the ability to think creatively towards the achievement of general physics II competence. Keywords: learning device, based problems, think creatively, and achievement of competence.

Abstract

Abstract This community service activity was carried out at the YAPIM Taruna Sei Rotan School, Percut Sei Tuan District. The participants of the activities involved in the community partnership program service activities were all SMA and SMK teachers in the YAPIM Taruna Sei Rotan School. This school does not yet have a personal online learning media/system that can be used as an alternative to distance learning, especially for use during the current Covid 19 pandemic. Also, most of the teachers in this school do not have experience in using online learning media/systems. This is due to the lack of opportunities for teachers to be able to take part in training in the use of media / online learning systems. Teachers at this school expect training to use the online learning system which is free of charge because the salary they receive is still minimal. The solution taken to overcome this problem is to create an online learning system with the school website and continue with training and mentoring its use. The method of implementation is carried out by methods of training, practice, and mentoring. The results obtained from this service activity are an online learning system YAPIM Taruna Sei Rotan and the teachers have good skills in using the online learning system as an alternative to learning during the Covid 19 pandemic. Abstrak Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di Sekolah YAPIM Taruna Sei Rotan Kecamatan Percut Sei Tuan. Peserta kegiatan yang terlibat dalam kegiatan pengabdian skema program kemitraan masyarakat ini adalah seluruh Guru SMA dan SMK yang ada di Sekolah YAPIM Taruna Sei Rotan. Sekolah ini belum memiliki media/sistem pembelelajaran online pribadi yang dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif pembelajaran jarak jauh khususnya untuk digunakan di masa pandemic covid 19 saat ini. Selain itu kebanyakan guru-guru di sekolah ini belum memiliki pengalaman dalam menggunakan media/sistem pembelajaran online. Hal ini dikarenakan minimnya kesempatan para guru untuk dapat mengikuti pelatihan penggunaan media/sistem pembelajaran online. Guru-Guru di sekolah ini mengharapkan adanya pelatihan penggunaan sistem pembelajaran online yang tidak berbayar karena gaji yang diterima masih minim. Solusi yang dilakukan untuk mengatasi permasalahan ini adalah dengan membuat sistem pembelajaran online yang dengan website sekolah dan dilanjutkan dengan pelatihan dan pendampingan penggunaannya. Metode pelaksanaan dilakukan dengan metode pelatihan, praktik dan pendampingan. Hasil yang diperoleh dari kegiatan pengabdian ini yaitu sebuah sistem pembelajaran online YAPIM Taruna Sei Rotan dan Guru-Guru telah memiliki keterampilan yang baik dalam menggunakan sistem pembelajaran online sebagai alternatif pembelajaran di masa pandemic covid 19.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is a significant difference learning outcomes Physics I among freshmen group that got the initial setup through the application of the principle of CTL and student groups who did not receive initial capacity setting in the Department of Physics Science Faculty Unimed. The design includes quasi-experimental study. This study population is students of Department of Physics. Using sampling techniques class (cluster sampling), sample of a population is represented by two classes, one class as the experimental class and the class as a control class. Instruments of this study is to test the learning outcomes. Hypothesis testing used two-sided t test. The data analyzed were derived from the normal distribution and homogeneous population. Based on the data analysis and discussion, the findings of this study it can be concluded that: there is a significant difference in learning outcomes between the Basic Physics I freshmen who received the original settings through the application of the principle of CTL and the group of students who did not receive initial capacity setting in the Department of Physics Science Faculty Unimed .

Abstract

The purpose of this research is knowing the level of LKPD feasibility that contains the Work and Energy material based on the assessment of experts and student responses. This research is the development of Research & Developmentmodel (R&D) using 4D method. Stages of research are define, design, develop, and disseminate. This research is limited to develop stage. The subject in this research is class X MIA 1 SMA N 1 Labuhan Deli. The instrument in this research using: LKPD, validation sheet by expert materials, validation sheet by expert media, validation sheet by an expert practitioner, questionnaire students response, and observation sheet by the observer. Technique analysis data consist of technique analysis instrument validation and analysis result. Analysis instrument validation using Likert scale and analysis result of research using a Guttman scale. The result in the level of LKPD based on Guided Inquiry with PhET Simulation according to expert material is “Excellent” (95%); according to expert media is “Excellent” (95%); according to expert practitioner is “Excellent” (96,15%); and result the student responses to LKPD that contains Work and Energy material according to initial testing is “Good” (87,5%), and according to quantitative testing is “Good” (94,11%). So the LKPD based guided inquiry with PhET-Simulation developed that is suitable for student learning on work and energy based on instrument by expert team and students response.
