Abstract

Autism is a collection of developmental disorders characterized by difficulty interacting socially, verbal and nonverbal communication problems, accompanied by repetitive behaviors and shallow and obsessive interests. Autism has an impact on children as well as on families. The impact on children is poor school achievement, low work status, health problems suffered, psychosocial impacts (needs for comfort, needs to be loved and loved, needs for self-esteem, self-actualization and impaired social interaction) and increased risk of accidents. The impact on the family is the emergence of severe stress and depression on parents and caregivers so that it affects harmony in the household. Handling autistic children must be holistic, such as diet therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy and biomedicine, if done incompletely and separately the results are not optimal. The purpose of the study was to analyze the factors that influence the treatment of autistic children.Type of observational analytic research with cross-sectional study design. The subject of the research trial with a population of 31 people in SLB Aneuk Nanggroe and Cinta Mandiri, Lhoksemawe City, Aceh Province. The instrument in this study was made in the form of a questionnaire. Data were analyzed using linear regression and chi square for bivariate and multivariate analysis using multiple logistic regression (logistic binary regression).Results of research conducted from April to August 2021. The results of the chi-square test at the level of significant = 0.05 indicate that there is a relationship between parenting style and handling of autistic children (p value 0.04) or p˂0.05, there is no relationship between diet and treatment of autistic children (p value 0.06) or p˃ 0.05 and there is a relationship between social stories therapy and the treatment of autistic children (p value 0.04) or p˃0.05. Mandatory output in the form of an accredited national journal. The Technology Readiness Level of this research is 2.

Abstract

Smooth milk production is very important to meet the baby's nutritional and nutritional needs. One of the most effective methods to increase milk production and reduce mother's stress while breastfeeding is to combine the BASOKU method (breastcare, oxytocin massage and husband's support) and regulate diet. This method is by doing breast massage, oxytocin massage on the spine as an effort to release the hormone oxytocin which can stimulate more milk production, coupled with the husband's support in exclusive breastfeeding for his baby. Mother's diet regulation that can increase milk production.The aim of the study was to determine the effectiveness of the combination of the BASOKU method and diet on increasing breast milk production at PMB Santi Yosina, Syamtalira Bayu District, North Aceh Regency.This type of research is a quasi-experimental research with a two-group posttest only design. The stages of the research are: The first stage of this research is to explain to postpartum mothers and their families about the BASOKU method and the diet that will be applied to mothers. The second stage is monitoring the increase in infant weight gain in those who receive treatment and those who do not receive the BASOKU method and diet. The population of this study were all postpartum mothers who gave birth at PMB Santi Yosina. The sample in this study used purposive sampling as many as 17 people in the control group and 17 people in the treatment group. Data were analyzed using paired t-test.The study was conducted from April to September 2021. The results of the univariate analysis showed that most of the increase in breast milk production in postpartum mothers in the intervention group in the 140-200 gram category was 15 people (88.2%) while in the control group in the <140 category. grams by 14 people (82.4%). The results of the bivariate analysis showed that there was a difference between the combined use of the BASOKU method on increasing breast milk production in postpartum mothers with a p value of 0.000. The technology readiness level of this research is 2.

Abstract

The aging process can cause various problems both physically-biologically, mentally and socio-economically. Changes in the elderly do not only occur physically, but also changes in mental states that are often overlooked, such as depressive disorders. About 80% of depressed elderly people who undergo treatment make a full recovery and enjoy their lives. The incidence of depression in the elderly will increase by 13.5% in the elderly who have chronic diseases and are hospitalized. The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors that influence the level of depression in the elderly with chronic diseases at the Blang Mangat Health Center, Lhokseumawe City in 2022. This type of research is descriptive. The stages of the research are: to explain how the level of depression in the elderly with chronic diseases and the factors that influence the level of depression in the elderly with chronic diseases, namely: elderly age, last education, gender, work status, family support, support for elderly cadres, types of chronic diseases experienced, and long suffering from chronic disease. The population of this study were all elderly people with chronic diseases who visited the Puskesmas. The sample in this study was the total population, that is, the entire population was sampled. Data were analyzed by descriptive analysis. The results showed that the level of depression in the elderly with chronic diseases at the Nurussalam Public Health Center was mild depression as many as 28 people (46%). It is suggested to respondents to be able to check themselves with health workers if they feel hopeless and no longer enthusiastic about living life and try to be more open to their families about the conditions experienced at this time and always think positively about the conditions of the disease they are experiencing.
