Abstract

The sanitary conditions in densely populated settlements such as in Yogyakarta are quite heterogeneous, in terms of both quality and quantity. The parameters in the healthy home assessment include components of the house, sanitation and behaviour. The economic valuation method is one of the ways used to provide a quantitative value of the goods and services produced by natural resources and the environment. The purpose of the study is to determine the valuation of the Contingent Valuation Method (CVM) value. CVM method is one of direct economy assessment methods through Willingness to Pay (WTP) question. This study aims to determine the economic conditions in the settlements in the city of Yogyakarta. This type of research is an observational retrospective design. Samples were 597 families living in the city of Yogyakarta taken by using multi-stage random sampling. Economic valuation data covered income, willingness and ability to pay taps, waste management and effluent treatment from households, were obtained using a questionnaire. The results of this study on the economic valuation of votes obtained WTP of taps water (PDAM) was in the range of 2,500 – 4,000 IDR / 10m3 / month with ATP for 7,585 IDR / 10m3 / month, WTP for garbage levy was in the range of 2,000 - 4,000 IDR/ month with ATP for 13,594 IDR / month, while WTP for wastewater management was in the range of 3,000 IDR/ month with ATP 2,870 IDR/ month. A total of 48.41% survey respondents have an income of less than 1,500,000 IDR per month so that the economic condition of Yogyakarta is in a low category.

Abstract

The government attempted to address the issue of sanitation, especially Clean and Healthy Behavior and healthy latrine ownership with the efforts is the National Strategy community-led total sanitation (CLTS) which is expected to prevent or minimize the morbidity and mortality. The purpose of this study to assess the success of the triggers of Community-Led Total Sanitation (CLTS) First Pillar in Somodaran Village, Banyuraden, Gamping, Sleman 2019. The research method with the type and design of a study conducted using a qualitative approach to the type of research and survey methods cross observational sectional descriptive. The population in this study were residents in the Somodaran Village, Banyuraden, Gamping, Sleman, Yogyakarta, which has been following CLTS triggering the First Pillar of 50 respondents using Total Sampling. According to the research level of success on the First Pillar of CLTS triggered open defecation free in getting in this study before and after triggering an increase of behaviour change. Where prior to the detonation there are 56% who still behave open defecation free but after the detonation to 80% of respondents has changed the behaviour with no defecation Gratuitous. Availability latrines of 50 respondents prior to detonation only 30% availability of latrines increased 10%, subsequent to the triggering ie to 40% already have private latrines in every home and the condition of the respondents latrines in every home prior to the detonation of 86.7% and after the detonation of 90% , The conclusion of this study an increase though not so many before and after triggering the respondents.

Abstract

Polusi udara dalam ruangan menjadi focus perhatian untuk dilakukan pengendalian dan pemulihannya. Hal ini penting karena banyak waktu yang digunakan oleh individu beraktivitas berada di dalam ruangan, baik di sekolah, perkantoran, Gedung pertemuan dan rumah. Metode pemulihan atau pembersihan kualitas udara dalam ruangan dapat dilakukan dengan berbagai cara salah satunya adalah desinfeksi menggunakan prinsip pengkabutan. Penggunaan desinfektan berbahan alami dapat memaksimalkan kontak dengan mikroorganisme dan meminimalkan dampak terhadap lingkungan. Tujuan kegiatan ini untuk memberikan pemahaman yang baik serta mengenalkan produk desinfektan alami berupa ekstrak daun sirih hijau (piper betle linn) yang dapat digunakan sebagai salah satu alternatif bahan desinfektan. Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan dilakukan Evaluasi berupa uji penerimaan produk. Sasaran kegiatan menyatakan bahwa aroma desinfektan alami dan target cenderung menyukainya. Selain itu target juga menyatakan bersedia untuk dilakukan desinfeksi Kembali menggunakan bahan tersebut. Produk ini dalam tahapan uji coba awal dapat direkomendasikan untuk digunakan akan tetapi dalam jangka Panjang masih harus menjalani berbagai tahapan uji.
