Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of exports and imports before and after the COVID-19 Pandemic. The decline in export-import activities due to the COVID-19 pandemic has hurt Indonesia, where exports in 2020 compared to 2019 have decreased by 2.68 percent. In addition there are war between Rusia and Ukraine which gives effect to our Intrenational trade. This research was conducted using a quantitative method with export, import and economic growth variables in Indonesia from 2018 to 2020 by using data panel regression methods. Data was obtained from various sources in the form of journals and books along with publication data from the Indonesian Central Bureau of Statistics.  The results of the study show economic growth affected by exports and import by 76.25%. Exports have a negative and significant effect on economic growth.  Meanwhile, imports have a positive and significant effect on economic growth. Exports and imports of goods and services during the pandemic era had a major impact on the Indonesia economy, proven by the 2.07% decline in gross domestic product in 2020. War Russia and Ukraine did not have a big impact because it benefited Indonesia in terms of oil exports to international markets, but the quality of goods and services needed to be improved in order to compete in international markets. And imports need to be controlled so that the balance of trade is not disrupted and the production of goods and services in Indonesia is still fulfilled.

Abstract

The international community service activities carried out at the Sekolah Indonesia KualaLumpur aim to provide real benefits in the effort to create a digital library at SIKL which can increase interest in learning in children attending the Kuala Lumpur Indonesian School, Malaysia and as a learning medium that is more accessible and fun that in the future can create quality human resources and be able to compete in the era to come. KualaLumpur Indonesian School, Malaysia in the end with the international dedication carried out by the Postgraduate Lecturer in Economics through the program "Library Digitization Through Provision of Sekolah Indonesia KualaLumpurLibrary Facilities" can support facilities for digital libraries at SIKL. Library facilities at SIKL are still limited. With the existing conditions, it is necessary to have media that can be used to make it easier to find information and broader knowledge that can increase interest in learning SIKL students. These facilities are in the form of a PC, TV, and speakers. Abstract

Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that of the three targets, namely the target of increasing water quality, increasing air quality, increasing the quality of land cover, there were three indicators that achieved the target, namely the indicators for the target of increasing water quality, increasing the quality of land cover, with the percentage of performance achieved respectively. by 110.4%; 115.97%; and 100%. In the target indicator of improving air quality, performance achievements were obtained that did not reach the target, with a performance achievement percentage value of 98.85%. This is influenced by the high level of vehicle activity on roads in Denpasar City, the cutting down of trees due to land conversion, and the lack of public awareness in carrying out vehicle maintenance, causing the emissions produced to exceed quality standards. Apart from that, the long dry season in Denpasar City in 2019 also caused the air quality in Denpasar City to decline. During the 2019-2021 period, which remains the largest capital expenditure realization area, the highest average capital expenditure realization was in the cities of Mataram, Kendari and Ambon.

Abstract

Agricultural commodities that are competitive in the international market are divided into three groups: plantation, food crops and forestry. The commodities with the greatest export potential within the plantation sector are coconut, coffee, cocoa and palm oil. Nevertheless, the lack of processing facilities for palm oil, coffee and cocoa means that Indonesia is unable to export finished products to overseas markets. Furthermore, these three commodities also encounter processing issues that fail to meet international standards, which can diminish their competitiveness. This study aims to investigate the competitiveness of a country in the international market. The data utilized in this study is secondary data. Secondary data were obtained from the Central Statistics Agency, the FOA website, and the UNCOMTRADE website. The data analysis employed qualitative analysis methods to assess the competitive advantage of Indonesian coffee, cocoa and palm oil commodities in the international market. The results indicated that, overall, the competitiveness of these commodities to destination countries was satisfactory, as evidenced by the RCA value exceeding 1. However, the cocoa commodity exhibited a competitiveness score below 1 when assessed against the United States.
