Abstract

Lending by banks to SMEs in each region is determined by a number of benchmarks, where one of these standards is the evaluation of the feasibility of SMEs will be given credit, creditworthiness can generally be carried out with due respect to 5 C, which includes: character, capacity, capital, collateral and condition of economy. By using analysis Cochran Q test, the study identifies the Bank that extends credit (KUR) in the city of Batam related implementation aspects 5C lending on SMEs in the city of Batam and to identify variables 5C which are the most dominant as a determinant in lending of SMEs in the city Batam. The results of this study found that the presence of Implementation for all variables 5C on the distribution of small loans in Batam city, where there are 10 variables are the most dominant in the distribution People's Business Credit (KUR) in Batam.

Abstract

The theme of the article is a business based on the principles of Islamic economics. Perception of service quality is reflected in consumer’s assessment of the realities and expectations of the service he felt. Tangibles, reliability, assurance, responsiveness, and empathy are the five dimensions of service quality. Some 100 respondents were selected as the study sample. Factor analysis techniques as data analysis techniques used in testing the impact of service quality on customer satisfaction on Islamic Bank in Batam. Results of testing of physical evidence, reliability, assurance, responsiveness, and empathy as a dimension of service quality on customer satisfaction in a Islamic Bank in Batam showed a significant positive effect. The result of this test indicates that consumer satisfaction visited Islamic Bank in Batam is affected by quality of service offered.

Abstract

The research theme is the financial and banking institutions. The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of return on assets and return on equity on profitability in banking companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange. The data used in this research is secondary data from the financial statements on ten banking company in the Indonesia Stock Exchange. A method of data analysis used in this research is the multiple regression models. The study found that simultaneous return on assets and return on equity effect on the profitability of the banking companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange. Similar findings were also found partial test results. This indicates that the return on assets and return on equity are variables to consider for investors before making an investment decision. Partial variable ROA significant effect on profitability because the value t-count > t-table that is equal to 3.254 > 1.667 with a significance value of 0.02 < 0.05, ROE variables have a significant negative effect on profitability due to the value table-t > t-count amounting to -2.250 > 1.667 with significant value 0.015 < 0.05, and variable ROA and ROE jointly affect the profitability indicated by the value of the larger F-count 5.548 > 3.191 with significance value of 0.007.
