Abstract

The purpose of the present study is to analyse the effect of managerial competence, information access on cost, benefit differentiation of small business products. This research is done in five district in South Sulawesi— Makassar, Maros, Bantaeng, Bulukumba and Tanah Toraja. The populations of this study are owners and managers of food and beverage business, wood and rattan furniture, convection and apparel. The sample was chosen purposively for 170 responders. Survey and questionnaire were used in data collection. Then the data were analysed descriptively and structural equation model with AMOS (Analysis of moment structural) program.The results of the study show that the success of small-scale enterprises is directly influenced by strategic factors, namely managerial competence, information access, and product differentiation. The factors of negative cost advantage but significant influence the success of the business because customers prefer the uniqueness. If small entrepreneurs in South Sulawesi want to succeed, then it should pay attention to the factor of product differentiation superiority because the influence is big enough and significant to the success of small business. This identifies that small business products should be more unique in terms of more value than a cheaper price.Keywords: Manager's Competence, Access to Information, Cost Advantage,  Advantage of Deferment, Business Success.

Abstract

The ´growth of cities in Indonesia cannot be separated from the informal sector presence which has been integrated to every urban life activity. The existence of Street Vendors sometimes create its own problems such as urban planning which is chaotic. The long-term goal of this research is to find out the strategy of Maros Government in relocating Sales Vendors, to make an improvement overview of Street Vendors income before and after relocation, to formulate appropriate policies and relocation programs. While the specific targets to be achieved in this research is that it is necessary to identify the right strategy in refuting the income of street vendors without decrease the income. The purpose of traders’ relocation is in order to avoid jobless and encourage the economic growth faced by the Government of Maros that necessary to improve strategies in increasing the income of sales vendors (PKL) .The data collection techniques are observation, survey and interview. The method used to achieve the objectives is qualitative descriptive research. The result of this research is to approach the government's strategy for the street vendors to be relocated and also socialize aneffective way so that they welcome to move, and provide supporting facilities for the community to visit the Pantai Tak Berombak.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap manifestasi konsep amar ma’ruf nahi mungkar dalam memotivasi seorang whistleblower untuk mengungkap fraud keuangan instansi pemerintahan daerah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan studi literasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsep amar ma’ruf nahi mungkar dianggap mampu dalam memotivasi seorang whistleblower untuk mengungkapkan tindak fraud keuangan yang ditemukannya. Hal ini karena pendalaman konsep-konsep keagamaan yang dilakukan oleh whistleblower yaitu amar ma’ruf nahi mungkar akan mendorong seseorang untuk bersikap dan bertindak sesuai dengan ketentuan yang berlaku. Dari pandangan whistleblower akan meningkatkan motivasi dan keyakinan dirinya untuk mengungkap tindakan fraud dalam mencegah kerugian keuangan pemerintah daerah.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to: 1) analyze the effect of service quality which consisting of reliability, responsiveness, empathy, assurance, and physical appearance to customer satisfaction on the Housing Security Management Lecturer of Hasanuddin University Tamalanrea in Makassar; and 2) to know the dominant variable affecting the consumer satisfaction on the Housing Security Management Lecturer Hasanuddin University Tamalanrea in Makassar.      The data used are primary and secondary data. The population of the study is 644 people as consumers who are living in Housing Lecturer Hasanuddin University Tamalanrea in Makassar. The methods of sampling in this study using Slovin formulation consisted of 247 respondents. The data collection, which is used is questionnaires and documentation. Methods of data analysis using descriptive statistical analysis, and multiple linear regression using SPSS Program.      The results showed that simultaneously variable reliability, responsiveness, empathy, assurance, and physical appearance, have a positive and significant impact on the satisfaction of consumers in the Housing Security Management Lecturer Hasanuddin University Tamalanrea in Makassar. Furthermore, the partial variables reliability, empathy, and assurance have a positive and significant impact on customer satisfaction, while the variable responsiveness and physical appearance have no significant effect on customer satisfaction. Among three variables that significantly influence it, it turns out the variable reliability that can improve the Consumer Satisfaction on Security Management Housing Lecturer Hasanuddin University Tamalanrea in Makassar.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of tax socialization, tax sanctions and taxpayer compliance at the Makassar City Regional Revenue Agency. The type of research is quantitative with a survey approach. This research was conducted at the Regional Revenue Agency with a research time of 2 months. This study used a survey by distributing questionnaires. The population used is the taxpayers. The sampling technique used the Hair formula where 360 samples were obtained. The analytical method used is Multiple Linear Regression Analysis. The results of this study prove that tax socialization, tax sanctions and taxpayer compliance have a positive and significant effect on taxpayer compliance in Makassar City. The coefficient of determination in this study is 14.1%.

Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are crucial in increasing Indonesia's GDP, as indicated by the number of MSMEs in Indonesia, estimated at around 50 million businesses. This study assesses the importance of networking, work culture, and reputation in developing MSMEs so that MSMEs can absorb a broad local workforce. The total population is 260 MSME actors in South Sulawesi. The data is then regressed using SmartPLS to get the findings. The results of the study show that networking and work culture has a positive and significant effect on business performance and reputation. Reputation has a positive but not significant impact on business performance. Indirectly, network and work culture positively but not significantly affect business performance through reputation.
