Abstract

The presence of pesantren together with the birth of the Indonesian nation has a major contribution to the direction of the Indonesian nation. The uniqueness and maturity of pesnatren can pass from one period to another. Islamic boarding school has a dual role, namely as a display of the face of Islam that is polite and peaceful. The next role is as unique to the original Indonesian education model. Entering the era of Pesantren 4.0 there are more complex challenges. Pesantren is not only an asset of Indonesia but a global asset. So pesantren must open themselves by preparing a strategy to reach the era of 4.0. This research is a library research with a qualitative descriptive approach. Sources of data obtained through library search and analyzed through content analysis so that it becomes a complete and comprehensive conclusion. the results of the study are that the pesantren's strategy in portraying itself in the current era is first; The pesantren remains committed and istiqomah in its uniqueness and uniqueness that is to deepen the knowledge of religion (Tafaqquh fi Alddin) accompanied by practice in the lives of students as has been proven so far. In addition pesantren must expand to the wider outside world, namely as an agent of national and international peace (Rahmatal lil alamin) as aspired by Islam. The last one is making pesantren as an agent of community empowerment that grows and develops and is owned by the community. Pesantren need to make social engineering that leads to the function of pesantren as an enabler, empowerment and community protector

Abstract

Pondok Pesantren Al Ihya Ulumaddin memiliki komunitas yaitu Kelompok Santri Tani Millenial (KSTM) Berkah Mandiri. Kelompok Santri Tani Millenial ini didirikan pada bulan Februari 2018. Alasan didirikannya KSTM Berkah Mandiri adalah untuk memberdayakan santri lewat Kelompok Santri Tani Millenial di Pondok Pesantren Al Ihya Ulumaddin. Apabila kemandirian pangan bisa dilakukan secara mandiri dengan memberdayakan para santri yang tergabung dalam KSTM Berkah Mandiri merupakan nilai plus dalam suatu perkembangan pendidikan di Pondok Pesantren. Khususnya di Pondok Pesantren Al Ihya Ulumaddin Kesugihan Cilacap. Santri yang tergabung dalam KSTM Pondok Pesantren diberdayakan dengan kemandirian dalam mengolah lahan pertanian mulai dari menanam padi, memproduksi pupuk organik cair maupun padat, memanen padi, serta kegiatan-kegiatan yang menunjang produksi bahan pangan seperti sayur-sayuran. Berupa sayur terong, cabai, oyong, kacang panjang, pakcoy, dan buah pepaya. Hal tersebut dapat menunjang ketersedian pangan di Pondok Pesantren Al Ihya Ulumaddin Kesugihan Cilacap. Dalam penelitian ini penulis menggunakan Jenis Penelitian lapangan (field research) peneliti melakukan pengamatan secara langsung di Pondok Pesantren Al Ihya Ulumaddin. Metode yang digunakan peneliti merupakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Obyek yang diteliti dalam penelitian ini adalah Pemberdayaan santri dalam meningkatkan kemandirian pangan oleh Kelompok Santri Tani Millenial (KSTM) di Pondok Pesantren Al-Ihya Ulumaddin Kabupaten Cilacap. Sedangkan subjek penelitian adalah beberapa pengurus KSTM. Hasil penelitian tentang KSTM di Pondok Pesantren Al Ihya Ulumaddin dalam memberdayakan ialah dengan melatih santri agar dapat memilih lahan dengan baik, pelatihan membuat pupuk organik, memilih bibit, dan memasarkan beberapa produk pupuk organik untuk masyarakat. KSTM telah melakukan pemenuhan kebutuhan pangan yang di buktikan dengan adanya indikator kebutuhan pangan pada bulan November 2021. Kegiatan ini sudah mencapai target pesantren dan sudah meningkat program pemberdayaan santri oleh KSTM dengan adanya keterlibatan antara santri yang berproses dengan pendamping serta masyarakat yang menjadi tutor kegiatan tersebut.

Abstract

This article is a research report focusing on the construc–tion of Kompas and Republika's news coverage regarding gender-related issues such as polygamy, domestic violence, and early marriage. Zondhang Pan and Gerald M. Kosicki's framing analysis was applied to analyse six news articles published by Kompas and Republika in 2021. The findings illustrate that both Kompas and Republika tend to construct gender discourse to mainstream gender equality in order to "break the chain" of violence and oppression of women. In regard to polygamy, Republika as an Islamic-based me–dia has framed polygamy as a behaviour that is not recommended in Islam by highlighting very strict sharia requirements while cons–tructing the news coverage of polygamy. Kompas as the represent–tation of the secular media has framed polygamy as behaviour that leads to destruction rather than constructive behaviour for society.
