Abstract

This study aims to describe the ability of students' conceptual understanding on heat and its transfer in terms of learning styles and the factors that influence them. This research method was descriptive qualitative. The subjects of this study were students of class VA at SD Negeri 83 Singkawang totaling 21 students. Data were collected by using a test technique in the form of a conceptual understanding sheet and a non-test technique in the form of a student learning style questionnaire and interview guidelines. Data analysis techniques used interactive analysis techniques consist of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the students' ability of students' conceptual understanding in the visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning style categories had similarities, namely they less mastering the indicators of exemplifying, classifying, and comparing, and also did not master the indicators of interpreting and explaining; internal factors that affect students' conceptual understanding abilities in the three categories of learning styles, both visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning styles were weak student memory, low student interest in reading, students are less thorough in understanding questions, and low student writing skills, as well as external factors in the three learning styles, namely the facilities that students get during the online learning process were not maximized and the learning that students do online was less effective.

Abstract

. This research aims to determine the effect of an environmentally based guided inquiry model on students' science process skills. Quasi Experimental research was conducted with a Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design- nonequivalent control group. Saturated sampling technique was used to determine the treatment class, namely class VA as the control class and class VB as the experimental class. Data collection was carried out using a written test in the form of short answer questions. For the data results obtained by the experimental class, the average pre-test score was 56 and the post-test score was 70. Meanwhile, the data results obtained by the control class had an average pre-test score of 52 and post-test score 58. Based on statistical tests using the SPSS test. effect size (ES), probability value (significance) is 0.89, so the Ho hypothesis is rejected, meaning the guided inquiry model has a significant effect on students' Science Process Skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa setelah diterapkan model TGT berbantuan media quizizz paper mode dan mengetahui aktivitas belajar serta keterlaksanaan pembelajaran saat diterapkan model pembelajaran TGT berbantuan media quizizz paper mode. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SDN 81 Singkawang. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode pre-eksperiement design, dengan bentuk one group pre-test post-test. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SDN 81 Singkawang. Sampel diambil dengan teknik sampel jenuh yang berarti semua anggota populasi dijadikan sampel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Terdapat peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa setelah diterapkan model TGT berbantuan media quizizz paper mode di kelas V, 2) aktivitas belajar siswa saat diterapkan model TGT berbantuan quizizz paper mode termasuk kategori aktif, 3) keterlaksanaan pembelajaran model TGT berbantuan media quizizz paper mode dalam kategori sangat baik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan: 1. Untuk mendeskripsikan sikap siswa terhadap pembelajaran IPA di kelas V sekolah dasar; 2. Untuk mendeskripsikan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi sikap siswa terhadap pembelajaran IPA di kelas V sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SDN 9 singkawang yang terdiri dari 31 siswa, dipilih 6 orang siswa kelas V yang terdiri dari 3 orang siswa kategori sikap positif dan 3 orang siswa kategori sikap negatif untuk dilanjutkan ketahap wawancara. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah teknik angket sikap siswa, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data melalui Miles dan Huberman yang terdri dari reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikkan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa ; (1) siswa dengan kategori sikap positif berjumlah 24 siswa, sedangkan dengan kategori sikap negatif berjumlah 7 siswa, Dari data tersebut dapat di kategorikan jumlah skor pada tiap indikator yaitu, jumlah skor tertinggi pada indikator emosi dan gairah dengan jumlah skor 803, disusul dengan indikator keyakinan dengan jumlah skor 504, indikator motivasi dengan jumlah 481, indikator pandangan terhadap guru dengan jumlah 328 dan jumlah skor terendah pada indikator nilai dengan jumlah 315.; (2) Faktor internal kategori positif siswa belum puas dan kurang menyukai pembelajaran IPA kemudian faktor eksternal siswa senang mendengarkan penjelasan dari guru karena guru menggunakan media ketika mengajar. Faktor internal kategori negatif siswa tidak percaya diri, belum puas belum paham dan kurang menyukai pembelajaran IPA, kemudian faktor eksternal kurangnya waktu sehinggan siswa kurang paham terhadap pembelajaran IPA.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) Mendeskripsikan penguasaan kosakata dengan keterampilan menulis puisi siswa kelas IV SD IT Nurul Islam Singkawang. (2) Mendeskripsikan keterampilan menulis puisi di SD IT Nurul Islam Singkawang. (3) Mendeskripsikan hubungan penguasaan kosakata terhadap keterampilan menulis puisi siswa kelas IV SD IT Nurul Islam Singkawang. Metode penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan korelasi. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV SD IT Nurul Islam Singkawang. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik sampling jenuh. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV SD IT Nurul Islam Singkawang yang terdiri dari kelas IV Ishaq dan IV Ismail berjumlah 42 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik tes Penguasaan kosakata dan Tes Keterampilan menulis puisi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah analisis persentase deskriptif, analisis nilai rata-rata, dan korelasi Spearman Rank. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) tingkat penguasaan kosakata tergolong sedang dengan rata-rata keseluruhan nilai 41,86 (2) tingkat keterampilan menulis puisi tergolong tinggi dengan rata-rata keseluruhan 67, 10 (3) ada hubungan penguasaan kosakata dengan keterampilan menulis puisi siswa dengan thitung > ttabel = 2,99 > 1,68 dan koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,18 atau dengan persentase 18,29%. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan penguasaan kosakata dengan keterampilan menulis puisi siswa kelas IV SD IT Nurul Islam Singkawang.   Kata kunci: Penguasaan kosakata, keterampilan menulis puisi, Bahasa Indonesia SD.

Abstract

This research aims to: 1) describe the mathematical problem solving abilities of fifth grade students who have high self-efficacy in solving whole number problems. 2) describe the mathematical problem solving abilities of fifth grade students who have moderate self-efficacy in solving whole number material problems. 3) describe the mathematical problem solving abilities of fifth grade students who have low self-efficacy in solving whole number material problems. The research used is qualitative research with descriptive qualitative research type. The subjects in this research were class V students at SDN 4 Singkawang. The research object is the mathematical problem solving ability of class V students in solving whole number material problems in terms of self-efficacy. The data collection techniques used in this research were interviews, giving mathematical problem solving ability tests, self-efficacy questionnaires and documentation. The research results show that: 1) Mathematical problem solving ability is being viewed from high self-efficacy. 3 students have an average score of 2 with a percentage of 48.23%. It can be seen from this score that students are able to carry out mathematical problem solving, 2) Ability Mathematical problem solving is being reviewed from self efficacy, while 14 students have an average score of 3 with a percentage of 77.08%. It can be seen from this score that students can carry out mathematical problem solving well but are often mistaken and not careful in carrying out problem solving plans. . and 3) Mathematical problem solving ability is being viewed from low self efficacy. 3 students have an average score of 2 with a percentage of 22.91%. It can be seen from this score that students are less able to carry out mathematical problem solving well. Keywords: Mathematical Problem Solving Ability,Whole Numbers, Self Efficacy.

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) Describe the students' reading comprehension ability seen from the learning independence in class V MI Muhammadiyah 2 Singkawang. 2) Describe the learning independence of class V students of MI Muhammadiyah 2 Singkawang which is still low. 3) Describe the relationship between learning independence and the reading comprehension ability of class V students of MI Muhammadiyah 2 Singkawang. The type of research used is quantitative with a correlational research design. The population in this study were all class V students of MI. Muhammadiyah 2 Singkawang totaling 42 students. From this population, samples were taken using the total sampling technique, so that the sample used was 42 students. The data collection techniques used in this study were indirect communication techniques and measurement techniques, with questionnaire and test research instruments. The student independence questionnaire consisted of 22 statements and the reading comprehension ability test consisted of 10 multiple choice questions. The data analysis techniques used were percentage and correlation. The data analysis technique used the Pearson product moment correlation formula with a significance level of 5% (0.05). The results of the study showed that 1) the level of student learning independence was classified as high with an average value of 77, 2) the level of student reading comprehension ability was classified as high with an overall average value of 79, 3) there was a significant relationship (correlation) between learning independence and reading comprehension ability. With a correlation coefficient of 0.41 (categorized as moderate) which means that learning independence plays a role in influencing reading comprehension ability with a contribution of 25%. From the results of the research that has been conducted, there is a relationship between learning independence and reading comprehension ability.

Abstract

This article discusses a study regarding the relationship between reading intensity and story writing skills. The research method used is correlation research with a quantitative approach. The research population involved all fourth-grade elementary school students. The sampling technique used a random sampling technique with the formula of Isaac and Michael with the number of 78 students. Data collection techniques were based on questionnaire and measurement techniques, namely using reading intensity questionnaires and story writing skills tests. The data analysis technique used was Product Moment Correlation. The results showed that 1) the level of students' reading intensity was classified as good in the medium category with an average value of 44.69, 2) the level of story writing skills was categorized as good with an overall average of 59.5, and 3) there was a relationship between reading intensity and story writing skills with an average score of 5.89, with a correlation value of 0.56, and a coefficient of determination with an average score of 31.36%. Based on the results of the research that has been done, therefore, there was a relationship between reading intensity and story writing skills.
