Abstract

Kondisi di masa pandemi mengakibatkan banyak lembaga pendidikan yang menerapkan pembelajaran secara daring, sehingga nilai-nilai karakter tidak bisa ditanamkan pada siswa MI secara maksimal. Di era new normal, beberapa sekolah mengambil kebijakan berupa pembelajaran dilakukan secara tatap muka dengan memakai sistem roling waktu dan mentaati protokol kesehatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan nilai-nilai karakter melalui budaya sekolah pada era new normal di MI Bahrul Ulum Binangun Singgahan Tuban. Metode penelitian ini adalah studi kasus (case study) dengan yang berarti  prosedur penelitian yang menghasilkan data deskriptif berupa kata-kata tertulis atau lisan dari orang-orang dan perilaku yang dapat diamati (diobservasi) secara alamiah atau melalui kehidupan nyata (real-life-events). Teknik pengumpulan data yang dipakai oleh peneliti dalam penelitian ini meliputi kegiatan observasi langsung, observasi terlibat (participant observation), dokumentasi, wawancara/ interview, dan analisis dokumen atau analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini mendeskripsikan pembudayaan nilai-nilai karakter di MI Bahrul Ulum yang meliputi nilai karakter religious, nasionalis, mandiri, gotong-royong, dan integritas.

Abstract

Abstract. This study examines the importance of the role of Islamic education in dealing with the development of science and technology in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0. Through innovations, digitalization has brought major changes in the order of human life. Meanwhile, the achievements of today's Muslim generation are still far from the heyday of Islam in the past. This is of course a special concern for practitioners of Islamic education in realizing an education system that is able to answer global challenges. This research is included in the type of literature review research, where researchers examine in depth and explore data related to the revitalization of Islamic education, both through primary and secondary sources. The data collection method used in this study is to collect literature related to the topic of discussion, namely the revitalization of Islamic education. After all the data has been collected, an in-depth study is carried out and the appropriate sources are sorted. The results of the study indicate that Islamic education has experienced a long history of travel from the heyday of Islam, the period of decline to the challenges of facing the modern era as it is today. With the development of science and technology, humans must be able to adapt to existing progress, and be able to face all future problems and challenges. Therefore, it is necessary to revitalize Islamic education, among others, in fostering the spirit of learning, revitalizing curriculum design, funding sources, and Islamic education infrastructure.

Abstract

Responsiveness to problems is a social skill that students must have. But the reality is that many students do not have good social behavior. So there is a need for a learning model that can improve students' social skills. This study aims to determine the learning process using a problem-based learning model in the social studies material of grade 6 MI Hidayatus Shibyan Jatirogo Tuban students. The research method used is descriptive qualitative where researchers describe field findings qualitatively and use interview, observation and documentation techniques in data mining. The results found were the use of a problem-based learning model carried out by grade 6 MI teacher Hidayatus Shibyan as an effort to improve the social skills of students who had been judged by student teachers to lack good social behavior. This is shown by the attitude of students who have not been able to cooperate and have not been responsive to the problems that exist around them. Through social studies learning with a problem-based learning model, it is hoped that it will be a stimulus to form a student character that is full of sympathy, empathy and able to adapt to problems in their environment [Salah satu keterampilan sosial yang harus peserta didik miliki adalah sikap tanggap pada masalah. Namun pada faktanya banyak peserta didik yang belum memiliki perilaku sosial yang baik. Sehingga perlu adanya model pembelajaran yang tepat guna meningkatkan keterampilan sosial siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses pembelajaran menggunakan model problem based learning pada materi IPS siswa kelas 6 MI Hidayatus Shibyan Jatirogo Tuban. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dimana peneliti berupaya mendeskripsikan temuan lapangan secara kualitatif dan menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi dalam penggalian datanya. Hasil yang ditemukan adalah penggunaan model problem based learning dilakukan guru kelas 6 MI Hidayatus Shibyan sebagai upaya dalam meningkatkan keterampilan sosial siswa yang selama ini dinilai guru siswa kurang memiliki perilaku sosial yang baik. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh sikap siswa yang belum bisa bekerjasama dan belum tanggap terhadap masalah yang ada di sekitarnya. Melalui pembelajaran IPS dengan model problem based learning diharapkan menjadi stimulus agar terbentuk karakter siswa yang penuh simpati, empati dan mampu beradaptasi terhadap masalah di lingkungannya]
