Abstract

In the development of patriarchal culture, ideology of gender creates injustice in whichwomen are victims. The various of justifications are being made, as if the view is true andirreversible. As a result men always lead and women are led. Thus, it implies a process ofdeterioration towards women. In Sarasamuscaya, there are several verses depicting thedegradation or decline of the image of women, which puts women in a subordiated position. Theverses depicting women demeaned can be grouped into a number of categories as follows:Women as Sources of Sin and Disaster, Women as dangerous creatures and should be avoided,Women as let loose of lust, Women are difficult to understand, Women as the most sinful creature,Women as a dirty and disgusting creatures

Abstract

Ulun Danu Beratan Temple, which is unique because one part of the temple is in the middle of Lake Beratan, gives its own charm for tourists. The lake is actually very sacred by the Balinese because it is considered a source of prosperity in life. Ulun Danu Beratan Temple and Beratan Lake are not spared from tourism activities, even the charm of these two tourist attractions seems to attract the interest and attention of local, domestic and foreign tourists. The formulation of the problem in this study is Why Ulun Danu Temple is used as a Tourist Attraction?. The specific purpose of this research is to describe Ulun Danu Temple as a cultural tourism attraction. To analyze the formulation of the research problem using Structural Functionalism Theory. Data obtained by observation, interview and documentation techniques. The results of this study are as follows: (1) The cultural form that is owned by the Ulun Danu Beratan tourist attraction is the beauty of the Ulun Danu Beratan Temple which is very fascinating from the royal heritage of Mengwi I Gusti Agung Putu in the year Saka 1556 based on the estimates described in the Mengwi chronicle. (2) The attraction of natural beauty offered by the Ulun Danu Beratan Temple attraction offers the beauty of the lake, the natural beauty of the hills and the cool air that can be enjoyed by every tourist. The conclusions in this study are Ulun Danu Temple as a cultural and natural tourist attraction.

Abstract

Ulun Danu Beratan Temple as a Tourist Destination Area (DTA) located in Candikuning Village. The natural beauty of the surrounding causes tourist visits to increase every year. As a DTA, the area outside the Ulun Danu Beratan Temple is used as an arena for economic contestation for a multicultural community. There are several things that make the Ulun Danu Beratan Temple as an arena of economic contestation for a multicultural society such as natural beauty, "identity politics", anthropocentrism modernism, Tri Hita Karana ideology and economics, with an economic contestation process caused by several things such as the development of tourism in Candikuning Village, domestic tourist visits, religious identity, tolerance of the Balinese Hindu community and the entry of non-Hindu communities into Candikuning Village. The contestation has implications for religious life, the sanctity of temples, the social life of the community, such as the value of gotong royong, the ngejot tradition which has begun to fade, as well as the ketog semprong tradition. It also has implications for politics, such as the strengthening of identity politics. In addition, it has implications for the economy such as the creation of employment opportunities and its side effects such as lake pollution. This study uses a multidisciplinary approach to religion and culture and uses interpretive critical qualitative analysis. The theory used analyzes the theory of hegemony, tourism destination development, community change, and sociocultural systems.

Abstract

The magepokan tradition is one of the unique traditions in Sembiran Village, Tejakula District, Buleleng Regency. This magepokan tradition has been carried -out in the past by the community for generations. Every time the piodalan at Puseh Duur Temple in Sembiran Village on Purnama sasih kalima is believed to be symbolic so that all evil forces in Sembiran Village go away and do not destroy the plants and do not disturb the comfort of the community. People who live in Sembiran Village. From the background that has been described, this research will examine three problems, namely: 1) How is the basis of the magepokan tradition implemented in Sembiran Village, Tejakula District, Buleleng Regency?; 2) What is the function of implementing the magepokan tradition in Sembiran Village, Tejakula District, Buleleng Regency?; 3) What is the philosophical meaning of the magepokan tradition in Sembiran Village, Tejakula District, Buleleng Regency?. The theories used to dissect these problems are 1) Religious theory to dissect the first problem concerning the basis of the magepokan tradition carried out in Sembiran Village; 2) Structural Functional Theory to dissect the second problem regarding the function of the implementation of the magepokan tradition in Sembiran Village; 3) Hermeneutic theory to dissect the third problem regarding the meaning of philosophy contained in the magepokan tradition in Sembiran Village. The results obtained are 1) The foundation of the magepokan tradition carried out in Sembiran Village includes the historical basis, religious foundation and the procession of the implementation of the magepokan tradition from beginning to end; 2) The function of implementing the magepokan tradition in Sembiran Village includes: religious functions, ceremonial pamuput functions, functions of an embodiment of gratitude, and social functions and; 3) The philosophical meanings contained in the magepokan tradition in Sembiran Village include: the meaning of harmony, the meaning of togetherness, the meaning of repelling reinforcements, the meaning of ethics and the meaning of aesthetics.

Abstract

The Slametan Friday Legi tradition at Pura Penataran Giri Purwo is a tradition that is continuously carried out and is a legacy from the ancestors in Kalipait Village. The uniqueness of this tradition lies in its implementation which is carried out by Slametan every Friday Legi together by the people of Kalipait Village at Penataran Giri Temple, Purwo. Based on this background, it can be formulated several problem formulations that will be discussed including: 1) Why is the Slametan Friday Legi Tradition held at Penataran Giri Purwo Temple, Kalipait Village, Kec. Purwoharjo, Kab. Banyuwangi? 2) What is the function of the Slametan Friday Legi tradition at Penataran Giri Temple, Purwo, Kalipait Village, Kec. Purwoharjo, Kab. Banyuwangi? 3) What are the implications of implementing the Slametan Friday Legi Tradition at Penataran Giri Purwo Temple to the Kalipait Village Community, Kec. Purwoharjo, Kab. Banyuwangi? The method used in this research is using qualitative methods with data collection techniques of observation, interviews and document studies. The theories that are the basis and are used to dissect the formulation of the problem include 1) religious theory used to dissect the second problem formulation, 2) structural functional theory used to dissect the third problem formulation, and 3) socio-structural theory used to dissect third problem formulation. This type of research is a qualitative research using data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observations, literature studies, and document studies. The process in data analysis will produce 1) The procession of the Slametan Jum'et Legi Tradition at the Penataran Giri Purwo Temple, Kalipait Village which includes: History of the Slametan Friday Legi Tradition, the process of implementing the Slametan Friday Legi Tradition at the Penataran Giri Purwo Temple, Kalipait Village, the meaning of using the means of the Slametan Friday Legi tradition. 2) The function of implementing the Slametan Friday Legi Tradition at Penataran Giri Temple, Purwo, Kalipait Village includes: religious functions, social functions, and harmonization functions. 3) The implications of the Slametan Friday Legi tradition at Penataran Giri Purwo Temple for the Kalipait Village Community include: spiritual and devotional implications, social implications, and economic implications.

Abstract

Agama Hindu sangat kaya akan tradisi dan upacara agama dengan menggunakan berbagai simbol-simbol dalam pelaksanaan keagamaanya, tradisi ngerasakin merupakan salah satu tradisi yang dilaksanakan di Desa Banyuatis. Tradisi ngerasakin merupakan bentuk upacara yang dilaksanakan oleh masyarakat Desa Banyuatis yang memiliki lahan pertanian dan perkebunan sebagai rasa sukur dan bhakti kehadapan Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa atas karunia dan hasil panen. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali aspek tattwa, susila dan upacara dalam tradisi ngerasakin di Desa Banyuatis. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan teologi, jenis data penelitian ini adalah data kualitatif dengan metode pengumpulan datannya ada tiga yaitu observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Aspek tattwa dalam penelitian ini dapat dilihat dari brahma tattwa yaitu pemujaan kepada Jero Sedahan. Jero Sedahan merupakan manifestasi Tuhan yang Maha Esa atau Ida Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa sebagai penjaga perkebunan dan pertanian. Aspek susila dapat dilihat dari bentuk bhakti kepada Ida Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa yang merupakan untuk menjaga kehidupan yang harmonis antara penguasa Dunia. Aspek upacara dapat dilihat dari banten yang digunakan dalam upacara ngerasakin sebagai simbul bhakti kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa atau Ida Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa.
