Abstract

Currently, the mining sector is still one of the main sectors driving the economy of Indonesia and is in demand by both indigenous and foreign investors. Asphalt mixing plant business unit (AMP BU) is currently the main priority scale of PT Prayoga. The AMP UB excellent performance of PT Prayoga enable itself to be able to contribute to the company's revenue and accelerate development of infrastructure in Bogor. The objectives of the research were to identify key performance indicator (KPI) that is applied in the financial and non-financial perspectives as well as to evaluate the performance of UB AMP of PT Prayoga in terms of financial and non-financial aspects based on the vision, mission and strategy of the company. The method used in this research was the balanced scorecard as a management tool to maintain a balance between the financial (financial perspective) and non-financial (customer perspective, business processes, learning and growth) indicators. The results showed that the KPI applied in the evaluation of the performance of AMP BU of PT Prayoga consists of 19 indicators including 5 KPI of financial perspective, 5 KPI of customer perspective, 5 KPI of business process perspective, and 4 KPI of learning and growth perspective. The assessment results indicate this business unit obtained the performance index of 78.42% included in the criterion of very good or excellent, thus it has shown its best performance according to the vision, mission and strategy of the company.Keywords: balanced scorecard, performance assessment, performance index, KPI, mining

Abstract

The objectives of this research were to analyze land cover changes, hydrological characteristics changes, and their effects on the economic value of water resources for environmental services beneficiaries (Hydroelectric Power Plan, HEPP and Drinking Water Companies, DWC). This research was conducted from January to December 2006 in the upper Citarum watershed, covering the Saguling, Cirata, and Jatiluhur catchments, with total area of 486,237 ha. The economic actors under this study are Saguling HEPP, Cirata HEPP, and Jatiluhur HEPP as well asTirta Dharma DWC (Purwakarta) and PT Thames Jaya DWC (Jakarta) which are located downstream of Citarum watershed as the beneficiaries of environmental services of Citarum watershed. The methodology and analysis technique used in this research were : a) supervised classification analysis to find out land cover changes; b) GR4J model to predict water discharge, water volume, and sedimentation; and c) water chemical analysis and replacement cost method for economic valuation of environmental services among the beneficiaries (HEPP, DWC). The resultsshowed that during the 1992 to 2002 period, there has been a reduction of forest (tree) area at the rate of 2.23% (3,804.2 ha) annually. The reduction of forest area was mainly caused by increasing of land clearing for settlement and other infrastructure which grew at the rate of 9.81% (2,404.5 ha) annually. This landuse change has influenced on hydrological characteristics of the upper Citarum watershed as shown by the reduction of local water discharge as high as 1.49% (3.14 m3 sec-1) and the volume of local water input as high as 4.20% (275.26 million m3), the increasing ratio of Qmax/Qmin as high as 5.99% (at the average of 131.94), the increasing of sediment yield as high as 10.20 to 12.86 million m3 annually (for the three dams) which is very dangerous, especially for Saguling and Cirata dams, as well as the decreasing of chemical water quality of Citarum River. Landuse and hydrological characteristics changes has caused an economic loss (opportunity cost) among the HEPPs and DWCs. The amount of the opportunity cost due to environmentaldegradation of upper Citarum watershed suffered by the HEPPs was as high as Rp 43.44 billion (equivalent with Rp 9,538,- MWh-1 electricity or Rp 3.29 m-3 water used by HEPP). Whereas economic lost suffered by DWC were Rp 212.43,- m-3 (Purwakarta DWC) and Rp 821.48 m-3 (Jakarta DWC) respectively. Based on significant economic loss caused byenvironmental degradation of the upper Citarum watershed on HEPP and DWC, the efforts for controlling landuse allocation and soil conservation seem very necessarily, by assigning permanent forest cover area. The amount as reflected by opportunity cost could be used as environmental investment for improving environmental quality (replacement cost) in the upper Citarum watershed.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the correlation of work discipline and work motivation with organizational commitment in Education Department of Bogor City. The study population was 153 people with a total sample of 111 people determined using Slovin formula. Primary data collection using questionnaires and secondary data using recording. Data analysis techniques used descriptive statistical analysis techniques and correlational statistical analysis techniques. The research results are as follows: (1) There is a positive and significant correlation between work discipline with organizational commitment with correlation coefficient ry.1 = 0.519 and functional relationship Ŷ = 88.073 + 0.453X1. Contribution of work discipline to organizational commitment equal to 27.0%., (2) There is a significant positive relationship between work motivation with organizational commitment with correlation coefficient ry.2 = 0.749 and functional relationship Ŷ = 75.975 + 0.637X2. Contribution of work motivation to organizational commitment equal to 56.1%, and (3) There is a significant positive correlation between work discipline and work motivation together with organizational commitment with correlation coefficient r = 0.806 and functional relation Ŷ = 81.940 + 0.274X1 + 0.620X2. The contribution of work discipline and work motivation collectively to organizational commitment is 64.9%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to know whether there is a relationship between compensation and performance appraisal with employee attachment. The population of this research is the employees of PT Haleyora Power technical services with the number of 230 employees. Sampling technique using Slovin after calculated obtained the number of samples as 147 employees. The research instrument is kusioner. The data collected is then processed using correlation analysis techniques with the help of SPSS software. The method used is survey and data analysis techniques using statistical test of correlation and simple linear regression and multiple linear regression. The hypothesis testing performed at a significant level of 0.05. Result of research yield three conclusion that is: First there is significant positive correlation between compensation with employee attachment with regression equation Ŷ = 22.369 + 0,917X1 and relationship that happened between compensation with employee attachment including category "very strong" because that value ry.1 = 0,992 is between 0,800 - 1,00. Second, there is a significant positive correlation between performance appraisal and employee attachment with regression equation Ŷ = 19.136 + 0.907X2. and the relationship between performance appraisal and employee attachment is "strong" because the value of ry.2 = 0.988 is between 0,800-1.00. Third, there is a significant positive correlation between compensation and performance appraisal together with employee attachment with regression equation Ŷ = 20,986 + 0,652X1 + 0,265X2 and correlation coefficient ry1.2 equal to 0,993. Based on these matters, it can be concluded that employee engagement can be improved through compensation and performance appraisal.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Selain kebutuhan untuk mencapai kinerja karyawan di era digital, PT Pegadaian merespon dinamika lingkungan strategis yang berubah dengan memungkinkan profesional SDM untuk menganalisis kebutuhan kapabilitas karyawan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi karakteristik karyawan, menganalisis persepsi kompetensi serta kinerja karyawan, serta menganalisis pengaruh kompetensi terhadap kinerja karyawan. Metode yang digunakan merupakan teknik analisis deskriptif dan SEM-PLS. Karyawan kantor pusat PT Pegadaian yang dijadikan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 67 karyawan berjenis kelamin pria, 45 karyawan berusia antara 21 dan 25 tahun, 73 orang dengan pendidikan terakhir sarjana, yang menduduki jabatan Asisten Manajer II ditempati oleh 52 karyawan serta 52 karyawan dengan masa kerja 1-5 tahun. Selain itu, 63 karyawan sudah memiliki pengalaman profesional, dan 52 orang tidak memiliki pengalaman rotasi pekerjaan. Persepsi karyawan tentang kompetensi  dan kinerja karyawan umumnya positif. Hasil analisis SEM-PLS menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi karyawan berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja karyawan. Pemecahan masalah menjadi faktor yang perlu ditingkatkan oleh pihak manajemen, sehingga diperlukan program pelatihan yang ditujukan bagi peningkatan kapasitas berfikir secara konseptual (logis, objektif, rasional, sistematik dan solutif) serta dapat menuliskannya secara baik sehingga dapat mengkomunikasikannya kepada rekan kerja dan atasan dengan efektif. ABSTRACT In addition to the need to accomplish employee performance in the digital era, PT Pegadaian responds to the dynamics of the changing strategic environment by enabling HR professionals to analyze employee capability needs. The purpose of this study was to identify employee characteristics, analyze perceptions of employee competence and employee performance, and analyze the impact of employee competence on employee performance. The method used in this research is descriptive analysis techniques and SEM-PLS. The employees of the PT Pegadaian head office that were sampled in this study were 67 male employees, 45 employees aged between 21 and 25 years, 73 people with a bachelor's degree, who held the position of Assistant Manager II occupied by 52 employees and 52 employees with 1-5 years of service. In addition, 63 employees already have professional experience, and 52 people do not have job rotation experience. Employees' perceptions of employee competence and performance are generally positive. SEM PLS analysis result show that employee competence has a positive effect on employee performance. Problem solving is one of the factors that needs to be improved by management, so a training program is needed aimed at increasing the capacity to think conceptually (logical, objective, rational, systematic and solutive) and can write it down properly so that it can communicate it to colleagues and superiors effectively.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi karakteristik karyawan dan menganalisis pengaruh lingkungan kerja hibrida terhadap kinerja karyawan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif dan SEM-PLS. Karyawan kantor pusat PT Pegadaian yang dijadikan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 213 orang, yaitu 148 karyawan sudah memiliki pengalaman profesional, 173 orang merupakan karyawan tetap dan 136 orang belum memiliki pengalaman rotasi pekerjaan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa model kerja hibrida berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja karyawan sehingga karyawan merasa produktif saat bekerja di kantor. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa manajemen PT. Pegadaian (Persero) dapat memfasilitasi karyawan untuk merasa produktif baik bekerja di kantor maupun bekerja dari rumah, sehingga karyawan memiliki produktivitas kinerja yang tinggi. Hal ini diartikan bahwa karyawan merasa nyaman, baik bekerja di kantor (WFO) maupun bekerja dari rumah (WFH), sehingga memiliki produktivitas kinerja yang tinggi.ABSTRACTThis research aims to identify employee characteristics and analyze the influence of a hybrid work environment on employee performance. This research uses descriptive analysis methods and SEM-PLS. The PT Pegadaian head office employees sampled in this study were 213 people, as well as 148 employees with work periods of 1-5 years. Apart from that, 148 employees already have professional experience, 173 people are permanent employees and 136 people have no job rotation experience. The results of the analysis show that the hybrid work model has a positive effect on employee performance so that employees feel productive when working in the office. These results indicate that the management of PT. Pegadaian (Persero) can facilitate employees to feel productive whether working in the office or working from home, so that employees have high-performance productivity. This means that employees feel comfortable, whether working in the office (WFO) or working from home (WFH), so they have high-performance productivity.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis diversifikasi pendapatan saat ini dan potensi masa depan melalui analisis aliran pendapatan untuk meningkatkan kinerja keuangan PERUMDA Tirta Pakuan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis SEM-PLS untuk menguji pengaruh aliran pendapatan terhadap profitabilitas, likuiditas, solvabilitas dan kinerja aktivitas serta metode peramalan menggunakan Model Linier Holt untuk melihat potensi diversifikasi aliran pendapatan dalam sepuluh tahun ke depan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh diversifikasi aliran pendapatan terhadap kinerja aktivitas, namun tidak terdapat pengaruh aliran pendapatan terhadap kinerja profitabilitas, likuiditas dan solvabilitas. Hasil prediksi aliran pendapatan memberikan gambaran pertumbuhan yang optimis dengan menunjukkan tren peningkatan yang konsisten setiap tahunnya pada tahun 2024 hingga tahun 2033 yang menunjukkan bahwa pendapatan PERUMDA Tirta Pakuan Kota Bogor diproyeksikan akan terus tumbuh pada dekade berikutnya. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah para pemangku kepentingan dapat menggunakan hasil penelitian ini sebagai dasar dalam menentukan strategi yang tepat mengembangkan diversifikasi arus pendapatan dan meningkatkan kinerja keuangan PERUMDA Tirta Pakuan Kota Bogor. ABSTRACT This research aims to analyze current income diversification and future potential through income stream analysis to improve the financial performance of PERUMDA Tirta Pakuan. This research uses the SEM-PLS analysis method to examine the effect of income streams on profitability, liquidity, solvency, and activity performance and a forecasting method using the Holt Linear Model to see the potential for diversification of income streams in the next ten years. The research results show an influence of income stream diversification on activity performance, but income streams do not influence profitability, liquidity, and solvency performance. The income stream prediction results provide an optimistic growth picture by showing a consistent increasing trend every year from 2024 to 2033. This indicates that PERUMDA Tirta Pakuan Bogor City's income is projected to grow in the next decade. This research implies that stakeholders can use the results of this research as a basis for determining appropriate strategies to develop diversification of income streams and improve the financial performance of PERUMDA Tirta Pakuan, Bogor City.

Abstract

workload on the performance of ASN employees in the Visa and Travel Documents Directorate of the Directorate General of Immigration, with work motivation as an intervening variable. The approach used is quantitative with a causal-descriptive design, and the entire population of 94 people was sampled through census technique. Data were collected through closed questionnaires and analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling method with the help of SmartPLS 4.1.1.4. The research results show that organizational culture has a positive and significant impact on work motivation and employee performance, both directly and indirectly. Conversely, workload has a negative and significant impact on work motivation, but does not significantly and directly affect employee performance. Work motivation has been proven to play a significant mediating role in the relationship between organizational culture and performance, as well as between workload and employee performance. The research model has a high goodness of fit value, with strong predictive capability. The research results emphasize the importance of strengthening a positive organizational culture and managing a balanced workload to enhance employee motivation and performance sustainably
