Abstract

The authenticity of the Qur'an that is preserved cannot be separated from the process of collecting, writing and unifying. This process is called jam' al-Quran, or the process of codifying the Qur'an. Of course, this process has a very important role so that the authenticity of the Qur'an has been maintained for centuries since it was revealed until now. The mushaf of the Qur'an that we have now turned out to have gone through a long and winding journey over a period of more than 1400 years ago and has an interesting historical background to know. Historically, the journey of Qur'an bookkeeping is indeed not as complex as hadith bookkeeping. However, this does not mean that the process of codification of the Qur'an is not interesting to study. In its journey, the Qur'an in the sense of its capacity as a book or a bound sheet of paper and written in it which is considered by Muslims to be the revelation of Allah—the process of codification is no longer normative, but very historical, because it is related to various kinds of discourses/discourses (social, political, and others) that surround it, so that it is always worthy of questioning and discussion anytime, anywhere, and even by anyone. We already know that the Qur'an was revealed gradually. The Prophet received the Qur'an through the angel Gabriel and then he recited and dictated it to the companions who listened to it. The collection of the Qur'an during the time of the Prophet was grouped into two categories, namely: collection in the chest in the form of memorization and appreciation and collection in records in the form of book writing.

Abstract

The micro, small and medium enterprise (MSME) sector is considered as the main driver of economic growth and as a temporary place for workers who have not been absorbed in the formal sector. In maintaining the existence of a business, it is necessary to conduct a study of the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats that occur when the business is carried out. SWOT analysis is basically a technique for systematically identifying various factors and determining elements of the development of an institution. This study uses a qualitative approach that focuses on literature studies, where researchers do not conduct field research and rely on data sources from literature. This study takes sources from articles, books, magazines, the articles we take are articles related to the research theme for at least the last 5 years. After the SWOT analysis is carried out, strategies can be developed by utilizing the SWOT matrix, which consists of four types of strategies: SO (Strengths-Opportunities), WO (Weaknesses-Opportunities), ST (Strengths-Threats), and WT (Weaknesses-Threats). SWOT analysis compares external factors of opportunities and threats with internal factors of strengths and weaknesses. Structured external and internal testing is something unique in planning and development. SWOT analysis is carried out using the results of identifying internal and external conditions of an institution or company. These results are identifications from the internal and external sides, so it is necessary to prepare a strategy presented in the form of a matrix with four strategy options. Along with the development of the era, SWOT analysis is not only used in the industrial world, companies or an organization. However, it can also be used as self-control in order to make a person better. Therefore, this study will discuss the use of SWOT analysis to control daily life from an Islamic economic perspective. So that a plan for an institution or organization will emerge that is in accordance with the standards of Islamic economic principles.

Abstract

This research aims to understand the concept and regulations of Islamic pension funds (dana pensiun syariah) in Indonesia, which impact life in old age based on the Maqasid al-Shariah (objectives of Islamic law). An Islamic pension fund is a pension fund that administers a retirement program based on Sharia principles (DSN-MUI Fatwa Number: 88/DSN-MUI/XI/2013). The management of Islamic pension funds in Indonesia is carried out through investments in Sharia-compliant pension funds that are distributed to participants. This is closely tied to the contractual consequences of the underlying agreement governing the transactional relationship between DPLK (Financial Institution Pension Fund) participants and the Sharia DPLK, which is based on the contract of Wakalah bil Ujrah (agency with fee). This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive-analytical method to analyze instruments of old-age protection based on Maqasid al-Shariah in the management of pension funds within Islamic financial institutions. The research is rooted in the management of pension funds aligned with the Maqasid al-Shariah, which represent the main objectives of Islamic law—namely, to realize the welfare (maslahah) of humanity in both this world and the hereafter. This pension fund also serves as a form of old-age security designed to provide income certainty for workers after entering retirement.
