Abstract

A breastfeeding program with the slogan "Love Babies, Give ASI" has been launched by the government. However, the coverage of ASI has not reached the national target. 80%. One of the causes of the failure of exclusive breastfeeding is due to the problem of adequacy of breast milk. Neck massage is believed to help expel breast milk. The purpose of this study was to examine the effectiveness of neck massage on increasing the amount of postpartum breast milk from the first day to the third day. This type of research is quantitative with the static group comparison research design. The sampling technique used is Systematic Propionate Random Sampling. The sample in this study was 52 and the sample per group was 26 respondents. The population members affected by the sample in PMB A are patients whose number is multiple of 2, and PMB B is multiple of 2. The results of the study of the effect of neck massage on increasing the amount of postpartum breast milk on the first to third day from the analysis of comparative data of the experimental group and the comparison group obtained p -value 0.000, meaning that neck massage is more effective than pectoralis major muscle massage in increasing breast milk production in postpartum mothers on the first to third day. Therefore, health workers, especially physiotherapists, make neck massage in breast care for postpartum mothers with complaints of breast milk not coming out and teach mothers and families how to massage the neck properly and correctly.

Abstract

Professionalism reflects a person's attitude towards his profession. Along with the increasing demand from the community for quality services, especially health services, local governments must strive to improve services in all aspects and fields, one of which is loyalty to the use of family planning acceptors. The purpose of this study was to examine the correlatioj between the professionalism of midwives and the loyalty of IUD family planning acceptors. Observational analytic research method with cross sectional design. The sample in this study amounted to 62 people. Data analysis using spearman rank. The results showed that most of the respondents chose the professionalism of the midwife as many as 42 respondents (67.74%) strong, Most of the respondents had high loyalty as many as 42 respondents (67.74%). The results of the Spearman Rank test p = 0.002, there is a relationship between professionalism and work loyalty of midwives. Therefore, it is expected that health workers at Simpang Tiga Health Center, District Hill District. Bener Meriah can always maintain the professionalism of the midwife and always maintain communication and work motivation with the midwife or other health workers.

Abstract

Media Leaflets are an idea that goes straight to the point and describes how to take action in a short and concise manner. Leaflets are very effective in conveying short and concise messages. like posters, they are also easy to carry and distribute. Even because of the compact size, the amount carried can be more than the poster This kind of study is called a quasi-experimental (quasi-experiment), in which experimental activities are carried out with the goal of identifying a symptom that develops as a consequence of a certain treatment or experiment. A group pre-test and post-test design strategy was used in this study. All participants in this study were toddlers at Harapan Bangsa PAUD, North Labuhanbatu Regency in 2022. totaling 20 PAUD toddlers. The number of samples used was 20 PAUD toddlers obtained by using non-probablity sampling technique, namely by purposive sampling (one of the non-random sampling techniques). The data analysis technique used simple paired t-test. The results of the univariate analysis showed that the provision of media was low regarding dietary variations and low toddler weight. The results of the Bivariate analysis showed that there was an effect of giving food variety media on the weight gain of toddlers in PAUD Harapan Bangsa, Labuhanbatu Utara Regency in 2022.
