Abstract

Bahasa Arab memiliki banyak lahjah dan salah satu lahjah yang dipilih sebagai bahasa kitab suci umat Islam adalah lahjah Quraisy. Hal ini didasarkan beberapa faktor, di antaranya adalah faktor agama, politik dan ekonomi. al-Qur’an memiliki kemukjizatan karena ia memiliki hal yang di luar kebiasaan, adanya tantangan untuk mendatangkan yang semisal dengan al-Qur’an dan tidak ada yang mampu mendatangkan yang setara dengan al-Qur’an. Dari segi bahasa, al-Qur’an memiliki banyak kemukjizatan, di antaranya adalah bahasa al-Qur’an yang ringkas dan padat, kesesuaian antara argumentasi dengan menggunakan bahasa yang berbeda, deskripsi yang indah, bahkan semua aspek kebalagahan yang terdapat dalam al-Qur’an merupakan kemukjizatan bahasa al-Qur’an. Kata kunci: Bahasa Arab, Lahjah dan Kemukjizatan al-Qur’an.

Abstract

A study of the use of language in society or the media needs to be done to see linguistic phenomena that are always dynamic. This research was descriptive-qualitative research that aimed to describe and analyze loanwords from foreign languages in BBC Arabic Instagram. The data were taken using the observation method with the uninvolved conversation observation technique (Simak bebas libat cakap) using the purposive sampling technique. The results showed that the absorption form in BBC Arabic Instagram is dominated by a direct absorption model by adapting phonological and morphological adaptations. The research also showed that social media preferred to use foreign language absorption words directly even though these words had Arabic equivalents. The excessive use of foreign terms and out-of-control was feared to cause the death of some words in Arabic and the collapse of the sovereignty of the Arabic language because it was colonized by other languages with more advanced civilizations. Abstract

This research is a qualitative descriptive study with a source of data being the novel "Usfur min asy-Syarq" with its translation titled "Bercinta di antara Ruang Sakral dan Profan". This research uses a translation critique approach proposed by Newmark. The research method in this study uses the free sima method with a purposive sampling technique. The results of this study show that the translation of this novel has many advantages in terms of readability, as the translator presents the story of the novel with beautiful and easily understood language. The translation technique most often used in this research is discursive creation. However, in terms of accuracy, this translation has many shortcomings, this is due to the translator removing many parts of the source language so that it is not translated, and also because the translator frequently shifts the meaning, this is due to the translator translating words and phrases that are too far from their original meaning in the source language.
