Abstract

In the industrial world, competence in conducting industrial processes is very important to support independence in developing industry in society. Empowering teacher and student guardians conducted at MI Nurul Iman Cisauk Tangerang, this activity was carried out in an effort to increase competence and independence in conducting industrial activities. The purpose of this activity is to train and foster the competence of MI Nurul Iman's teacher and guardians for entrepreneurship by using leisure time outside of routine activities. To achieve this goal, the community service team of the Industrial Engineering Study Program has provided counseling, training and assistance to MI Nurul Iman's teaching staff and parents in producing dish soap. Teachers and guardians of students are given knowledge about the swift industrial competition, so competence in conducting industrial processes must be owned and developed in the community environment. Teachers and student guardians are also given training on how to make dish soap, as well as product packaging and marketing techniques.Keywords: dish soap, industrial independence

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe trend of selling automatic motorbikes is superior to Sports motorbikes and motorbikes every year. To maintain consumer confidence to produce quality products and be able to compete, in its production activities, the company always strives to produce good products and reduce product damage, but the reality in the field is that many products that are produced are not following the standards that have been set. PT. Bando Indonesia is a manufacturing company engaged in the automotive sector, especially automotive belt components and the electric transmission industry, motorcycles, and cars. The product type is the V-Belt. This study aims to analyze how the implementation of quality control using PDCA tools (Plan, Do Check, Action) and seven tools are used to reduce defects and problems faced by the production department by controlling the level of product damage in the company. After correcting the factors causing the problem, the Air Bubble Defect was successfully reduced from 2397 to 669 pcs. Thus the quality control activities carried out succeeded in solving problems that occurred in the V-Belt production processĀ

Abstract

PT. Surya Toto Indonesia, Tbk is a company engaged in the field of Sanitary and Fitting. In an effort to maintain the quality of its products, PT. Surya Toto Indonesia, Tbk seeks to minimize the number of disabilities in each of its inspection units. For that we need a method of control and quality improvement to identify defects to the source of the cause. Based on the data of Quality Control (QC) at the Shower Hanger (Part C0205-SU_IM) from January to June 2016, there are three major defects that dominate: Scratch, Burrs, and Pit defects with cumulative percentage reaching 76.18 %. The results of the analysis conducted by the author using the method of One Way Anova (One Way Analysis of Variance), known the dominant cause that is in Mold and after the repair on the Mold there is a decrease in defect rate of 81.26%. From defect data in 2016 prior to improvement.

Abstract

Water is one of the needs of human life which is very important for the body. The great need for water is read by companies to produce bottled drinking water. Bottled Drinking Water (AMDK) is drinking water that is ready to be consumed directly without prior heating. CV. Tirta Sasmita is a company at Pamulang University that only makes bottled water, CV. Tirta Sasmita understands that there is an opportunity to make a profitable business. In fact, in the production process, there are still many reject products, especially 220 ml glass cup products. The purpose of this research is to reduce product rejects by using a combination of Old Seven tools and New Seven tools by controlling the level of product damage in the company. After repairs were made to the factors that caused the Defect Cup Leaking problem, it managed to drop from 1991 to 546 pcs, or a decrease of 72.60%. Thus the improvement activities carried out succeeded in solving the problems that occurred in the production process of 220 ml Cup bottled water.

Abstract

Sebuah perusahaan manufaktur yang bergerak pada bidang pembuatan mobil dalam proses perakitannya melalui delapan proses. Pada setiap tahapan proses memiliki waktu kerja yang tidak seimbang waktu proses, inilah yang menjadi permasalahan bottleneck sehingga menyebabkan tidak tercapainya target produksi yang telah ditetapkan oleh perusahaan. Terdapat beberapa faktor yang menyebabkan tidak tercapainya target produksi antara lain yaitu banyaknya waktu menganggur pada stasiun kerja, mesin mengalami trouble saat proses produksi, operator kurang memahami work instruction, dan tidak adanya waktu optimal untuk menghasilkan produk. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi kondisi keseimbangan lintasan produksi aktual. Metode untuk menyeimbangkan beberapa elemen kerja dari satu lintasan perakitan ke stasiun kerja menggunakan metode Line Balancing. Hasil perancangan didapatkan waktu baku atau waktu kerja optimal untuk pembuatan satu unit mobil sebesar 110,34 detik, hasil efisiensi lini sebesar 64% yang berarti meningkat dari kondisi awal sebesar 67%, balance delay menjadi 36% yang sebelumnya 33%, dan smoothest index sebesar 200,93 detik yang sebelumnya 226,09 detik. Perbaikan ini mendapatkan peningkatan kapasitas produksi dari kondisi awal sebesar 522 unit per hari menjadi 605 unit per hari.
