Abstract

This paper describes the development of social science (IPS) learning in social-cultural and PAIKEM-based elementary schools. Development of Elementary School Social Sciences Learning based on socio-cultural and PAIKEM-based learning as an innovative step in social studies learning at the elementary school level can minimize deficiencies in teaching students to understand social studies in elementary schools as well as to improve the quality of elementary school social studies learning processes. teachers need to be active, creative and selective in applying learning models and approaches. Based on the main problems and results and discussion as described above, several conclusions can be formulated as follows: 1) learning procedures with learning models with socio-cultural approach provide optimal flexibility for students to improvise during the course of learning so that they can create a climate and conducive learning activities; 2) The effectiveness of the socio-cultural learning model towards increasing understanding of social studies material by students, it appears that students' understanding of the material taught shows an increasing graph, and at the model testing stage, the results of evaluation tests conducted indicate that the average evaluation evaluation score students who are taught by learning models with socio-cultural approaches are higher than the average scores of students who are taught by conventional learning models; and 3) there is an increase in the socio-cultural literacy of students related to the material taught in social studies learning with a socio-cultural approach and based on PAIKEM.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Islamic symbols contained in the ceremony of sea alms and to know the context of Islamic symbols that manifest in the life of the Cilacap sea turtle community. The method used in this study is qualitative by collecting data in the form of observations and interviews. While the method of data analysis using qualitative and phenomenological methods.The results of this study indicate that the sea alms tradition is a sacred ritual that has become a tradition for traditional fishing communities in Cilacap, by drifting produce in the form of Uborampe or offerings to the sea. And is a manifestation of the symbol of gratitude of fishermen to God, for abundant sea products and requests to avoid the bad things that can happen to fishermen at sea. This ritual is also a symbol of respect for the mystical power that is believed by the fishing community as guardians of the sea and also contains values for life for the fishing community in supporting their activities.

Abstract

Pendidikan Islam merupakan sebuah konsep pendidikan yang berlandaskan pada nilai-nilai dan ajaran agama Islam. Pendidikan Islam tidak hanya dilembaga formal saja, tetapi juga dapat diperoleh dilingkungan non-formal pada lingkup masyarakat yang dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai pembelajaran. Seperti halnya tradisi jamasan pusaka bende yang ada di Desa Bumijawa, Kecamatan Bumijawa, Kabupaten Tegal, pada tradisi tersebut adanya nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam di dalamnya. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan tradisi jamasan pusaka bende di Desa Bumijawa, Kecamatan Bumijawa, Kabupaten Tegal dan untuk mengetahui nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam yang terkandung dalam tradisi tersebut. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif, sedangkan teknik pengumpulan data dalam kajian ini yaitu observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam kajian ini meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data dan menarik kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat tiga nilai pendidikan Islam pada tradisi jamasan pusaka bende meliputi: Nilai tauhid, berupa meng-esa-kan Allah yakni berdoa hanya pada Allah SWT semata, dan pembacaan sholawat Nabi. Nilai ibadah meliputi berdoa dan berzikir. Nilai akhlak, meliputi tolong menolong, bersyukur dan sedekah.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of behavioristic strategies in Akidah Akhlak instruction at MTs Ma’arif NU 2 Cilongok and introduces the Behavioristic–Religious Model (BRM) as its main theoretical contribution. Using a qualitative case study design, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings show clear improvements in students’ moral behavior following consistent application of reinforcement, teacher modeling, and religious habituation. Students demonstrated greater punctuality, increased active participation in learning activities, and a noticeable reduction in discipline violations. Daily religious routines such as congregational prayers, Qur’anic recitation, and structured devotional practices functioned as natural reinforcers that strengthened the internalization of moral values beyond temporary stimulus–response compliance. The novelty of Behavioristic–Religious Model (BRM) lies in its systematic integration of operant conditioning, the law of effect, social modeling, and Islamic school culture into a single framework for character formation. Practically, the model offers teachers and schools a replicable approach to designing learning environments that align pedagogical reinforcement with spiritual habituation to enhance moral behavior in Islamic education.
