<![CDATA[Tujuan penelitian menganalisis efektivitas pemidanaan dalam proses penegakan hukum tindak pidana Narkotika di wilayah Kota Pare-pare dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi. mMtode penelitian yaitu penelitian empiris atau sosiologis (lapangan) dan penelitian normatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah (1) Efektivitas pemidanaan dalam proses penegakan hukum tindak pidana Narkotika di wilayah Kota Pare-pare kurang efektif, hal ini terlihat dari perkembangan kasus 3 tahun terakhir terkait penyalahgunaan Narkotika masih sangat tinggi khususnya di penyalahgunaan narkotika bagi orang dewasa, berdasarkan hasil penelitian juga sangat terlihat jelas bahwa ancaman pidana yang berat dalam Undang-Undang Nomor 35 tahun 2009 tentang Narkotika serta penerapan pidana yang tinggi oleh Hakim tidak membuat masyarakat jerah untuk tidak melakukan tindak pidana penyalahgunaan Narkotika. (2) Adapun Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pemberantasan tindak pidana Narkotika di wilayah Kota Pare-pare terdapat 2 faktor yaitu Faktor Internal Pelaku dan Faktor Eksternal Pelaku dalam faktor eksternal terdapat 3 faktor didalamnya yaitu Faktor Lingkungan, Faktor Ketergantungan dan Faktor Keluarga. The research objective to analyze the effectiveness of punishment in the process of law enforcement for narcotics crimes in the City of Pare-Pare and the factors that influence it. The research methods are empirical or sociological research (field) and normative research. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the conclusions in this study are (1) The effectiveness of punishment in the process of law enforcement for narcotics crimes in the City of Pare-Pare is less effective, this can be seen from the development of cases in the last 3 years related to narcotics abuse, which is still very high, especially in Narcotics abuse for adults, based on the results of the study, it is also very clear that the severe criminal threat in Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics and the application of high crime by judges does not discourage people from committing criminal acts of narcotics abuse. (2) The factors that influence the eradication of narcotics crime in the City of Pare-Pare there are 2 factors, namely the Internal Factors of the perpetrators and the External Factors of the perpetrators.]]>
