Abstract

Global climate change affects to temperature, relative humidity, solarradiation length, wind speed, rainfall and river discharge. Due to climate change the high of rainfall intensity impact on river discharge fluctuations in the wet anddry season. Floods and droughts as anatural event are more often occurred at this time. Waymital Irrigation area has a127 hectares command area consisting of the fourtertiary those are 7 hectares Kairatutertiary, 10 hectares Gembatertiary, 10 hectares Hatusuatertiary and 100 hectares way Mitaltertiary, therefore to deal with that extreme impact, required a systematically irrigation management plansin order to be still profitable, especially for farmers. The methodology used in the analysis of irrigation water availability optimization at Mital Way command area using the Simplex Linear Programming that will be obtained cropping area, discharge and maximum benefit of agricultural production.Based on the analysis results indicates that has occurred the climate change on Way mital command area in 2009 that is marked by a shifted in the rainy and dry seasons and increased the amount of annual rainfall. Increasing the amount of rainfall has an impact on the volume availability of water intake changes, before the climate change, the volume availability of water intheintake (cropping season) are MTI =699000 m3, MTII = 444 000 m3and MTIII =502 000 m3. While from the study result also showed that after the occurrence of climate change, volume of water available in the intake are MTI =715000 m3, MTII = 487000 m3and MTIII =537000 m3. Volume of water availability from the optimization of the existing cropping pattern at Way Mitalboth before and after climate change is still sufficient to water requirement for everycropping season and the difference inprofit is 418.875.000 rupiahs peryear which is obtained from agricultural production. Keywords: Climate Change, WaterAvailability, Linear Programming.

Abstract

The Ilngei Aruidas road section, Tanimbar Islands Regenchy, is one of the Collector Road sections located in Tanimbar Islands Regenchy using flexible pavement with a length of 59 KM, a pavement width of 5.5 meters. Based on geographical lacation, the route og the Ilngei Aruidas road is mostly on hills and slopes which tend to be influenced by weather conditions which result in landslides on the Ilngei Aruidas road, especially at the Sta 39+970 with a total length of the landslide reaching 30 meters with a landslide height reaching 4.0.The aim of this research is to determine the type of gabion the is suitable for dealing with landslides on the Ilngei Aruidas road, Tanimbar Islands Regency, road, Tanimbar Islands Regechy, as well as planning safe gabion dimensions on the Ilngei Aruidas road, Tanimbar Islands Regechy. The results of the planning analysis show that the appropriate type of gabion to use is the wire gabion type with the following gabion dimension, 4 meters high, 3 meters wide and 30 meters long, stability against slinding 262,9 > 1.5 stability against overturning 1,46>1,5 and stability to bearing capacity-omax-843,2 kN/m2 qa-15,40 kN/m2.

Abstract

In general, drainage is an attempt to drain excess water in a certain context of use. If there is a problem with drainage, it will cause puddles on the surface of the highway. One of the roads that experienced puddles is A.Y. Patty Sirimau District, Ambon City. The drainage channel is not able to accommodate rainwater runoff which results in an increase in water discharge resulting in puddles on the highway. Therefore, it is necessary to evaluate the drainage channel of A.Y. Patty Sirimau District, Ambon City, to determine the dimensions of the existing canal, population growth, household dirty water disposal that enters the drainage channel and runoff discharge on the highway. From the results of calculations and analysis, it is obtained that the projected population in the 10th year is 2,9 1 18 people with discharge discharge (Qab) = 0.006955 m3/sec/ha and runoff discharge on the A.Y highway. Patty Sirimau District, Ambon City is Qs = 19.87599 m3/s, Or = 0.06341 m3/s with a difference in discharge of 19.81258 m3/s. So that the capacity of the drainage channel meets and is still suitable for use.

Abstract

A soil retaining wall is a construction built to withstand or support soil pressure and other lateral loads with the aim of preventing the soil from unwanted lateral movement. The function of utanabya is to maintain changes in elevation or slope of the soil and ensure slope stability. This study aims to determine soil parameters and design soil retaining walls according to standards or theories. From the results of laboratory tests and calculations of soil retaining walls, the soil around the Karang Panjang Panorama Cafe, Ambon City is clay sand soil and soil retaining walls are designed, namely cantilever type retaining walls using the rankine method with typical dimensions based on SNI 8460: 2017 standards with dimensions of top width of 0.3 meters, bottom width of 3.15 and height of 4.5 meters where the safety factor number against bolsters is 2.164 (safe) against shear 1,728 (safe).
