Abstract

Approaches in Islamic studies should be appropriate with the object under studies. Linguistic approach is one of the approaches in Islamic studies whose object is scripture (manuscripts or texts). Therefore, as the main source of Islamic laws, al-Quran should use linguistics in one of its approaches. Linguistic approach which is used emphasizes upon two categories, namely linguistic and concept analyses as well. Kata kunci: pendekatan, linguistik, al-qur’an, hermeneutik.

Abstract

Translation is a process of translating messages from the source language to the target one by preserving the intended meaning of the original sources.  This can be achieved by following three main stages: analyzing the message of the source language, translating and reconstructing message by re-expressing in target language so that the translated version is acceptable and readable in terms of form and style of the target language. Since source and target languages have their own type and grammatical rules, a good translations, therefore, should use natural forms of target language and communicate as much as possible the meaning intended by the source language into target language while preserving the ‘dynamics’ source language texts.Kata kunci: terjemah, linguistik, bahasa sumber, bahasa sasaran

Abstract

The aim of this study was to produce valid, practical and effective Arabic instructional materials for students majoring in nursing department of STIKES Purna Bhakti Husada Batusangkar. This study employed research and development design, especially IDI (instructional development institute) which consisted of three phase analysis: front-end analysis, prototype and assessment. The findings of the study showed that the instructional materials were valid both in terms of content and construct, practical and effective.Kata kunci: bahan ajar, komunikatif, keperawatan, penelitian pengembangan

Abstract

his study aimed at identifying, describing and understanding students’ learning habit at school and at home as well, and figuring out contributing factors in establishing and developing their habits. This study employed ethnography method and such techniques as observation, interview, documentary studies and questionnaire. The obtained data were analyzed by means of domain, taxonomy and componential analyses. Findings showed that the learning habits of the majority students of outstanding achievement class (kelas unggulan) of MTsN Batusangkar both at school and at home were good. Those habits were in line with achievement which they took is a reward. Satisfaction toward the reward encouraged them to be more motivated in learning which in turn developed better learning habit. These had formed a good chain in learning process. Factors that contributed to the establishment and development of learning habit were internal (self motivation, management, direction and development) and external factors (social and instrumental environments).Kata kunci: siswa, kebiasaan belajar, bahasa Arab, kelas unggulan

Abstract

Ordinary language philosophy was one of the streams of analical language philosophies that had layed on how language was used. This became basic principle in studying pragmatic in lingusitic study. The idea of ordinary language about the pragmatic approach in learning language oriented to create the students’ communication ability that was appropriate with the context where the communication happened. It was because learning language means leaning communication and language as a tool of communication that could be used in various function and situation.
