Abstract

This Research in intended the Effect of manufactures electrical wiring low voltage. A problem that often occurs on the floor of the factory is the production of a quality mismatch on the cable NYM 2 x 1.5 mm2 will cause the occurrence of reduced demand from consumers and would harm consumers when menggunakanya. Bad results on the wire can not disconnect from the production process because the engine is one of the very important factor who fought in the quality of the wiring in the produce. As a result, the value of the isoaltor and the koduktor a cable can be a good or a bad fit with the existing machine settings. Usually many companies understand the appropriate combination in getting optimal results from the machine in karenakan costs incurred to figure it out pretty expensive. This would result in losses for the company in an amount large enough because the company would have difficulty fulfilling customer requests. For the optimal settings for analysis identifying the cable NYM using taguchi methods, alphabets experiment design and response Surface so that it can be done the calculation of total to quality cable compared with waste that should be the responsibility of the company due to the cable does not meet the specifications in the set (SNI). To conduct the process of identifying the need to know the data cable-owned waste terytama on cable cable NYM bestseller that is then compared with the waste before implementation to do the settings in the machine. Analysis to get the best quality on cable are rated based on a test of insulator using insulator tester and the conductor using the double bridge tester. From the results of the calculation of the optimum settings for it is known that machines with Speed settings pull 41 m/s Speed, Filling 33 m/s, and Speed Sheeting amounting to 29 m/s and the waste is reduced after implementation i.e. copper be 1458 Kg and PVC became 89,225 Kg in July 2016 which means tejadi decrease 41,375% in copper and 41,186% in PVC

Abstract

Performance and productivity of production line system are very influenced by facility layout planning.Facilities composition which is appropriate with flow of materials between departments, certainly wouldsustain the continuity of the system. PT. X is one of the subsidiaries of PT. Astra Otoparts Tbk. whichmanufactures motorcycle chains. Composition of the current layout facilities on the 1st Plant has not fullyoptimized well and indeed has a potential possibility to be developed further in the future. This statement issupported from the result of existing MHPS which gives Rp 1,047,678.49 for total cost of material handling,463.1 meters for total distance, and 1,617.24 minutes for total time of material movements. Also, the totalarea of empty spaces that can be utilized by the company in the current layout is only 89.74 m2. As for thepurposes of this research are: analyzing the performance of current layout, developing new layout designs toimprove the current one, and comparing the current with proposed improvement layouts. The process ofdesigning proposed layouts is done by using improvement-based algorithm (CRAFT) and hybrid/compositealgorithm (BLOCPLAN) that both of the algorithms need same inputs, which are: current facility layout andthe flow of material. Based from the results of MHPS calculation for both proposed layouts, show that layoutfrom BLOCPLAN algorithm gives maximal reduction to the total cost of material handling so that theamounts will be decreased to Rp 1,022,419.91 (reducing 2.4% from total cost of current layout), 434.62meters for total distance (reducing 6.2%), and 1,506.23 minutes for total time of material movements(reducing 6.86%). As for the total area of empty spaces, BLOCPLAN layout gives 110.74 m2 (23.4%) to beminimized than the current layout.

Abstract

This study discusses the proposed improvements to the production system using lean agile supply chain approach. In the middle’s company, one of which is the problem that the turnaround time is too long or waiting waste and defect waste. Under the existing conditions, the company's production system to improve production speed in response to rapid changes in consumer interest and improve product quality. There are 3 stages used in the Lean Agile approach that are phase planning, execution, and delivery. The data obtained from the company necessary, through observation, and through direct measurement. Based on the research that has been made known that there are four kinds of defects that are CTQ (Critical to Quality), four types of defects are defects hollow, fibrous defect, defect loose stitches, and gross defects / stains. In the planning process we already know what the model variant is desired by consumers is a model school crest motif symbol, foundations, public, and school patron, besides the application of a pull system and didapti empowerment of teams who want to make changes repairs.Proposed improvements are the main target of this research, which at this stage 5S approach work attitude, the manufacture of tools to support performance changes, as inputting the manufacture of flexible software, and implementation of design improvements that have been made into the main ingredients in providing a solution to improve the speed work and minimize the occurrence of defects in order to improve quality.

Abstract

PT. XYZ is a company engaged in the production of paper and pulp. These are two products are interrelated because to produce paper, raw materials are neededin the form of pulp. And often the paper production in the factory is excessive. This study aims to determine the optimal mainroll length according to demand so that overproduction will be minimized. The approach used is Integer Programming with the Branch and Bound method, where previously obtained combinations of possible paper arrangements on the mainroll with a maximum length of 80 km and a the width of 8,5 m. based on the optimal calculation results for the December 2022 production period, the mainroll length produced is 139,23 km which produced 14.891 reams for A4 paper, 10.539 reams for F4 paper and 10.239 reams for Q4 paper. The excess production of each type of paper was 0.34 %, 0,02 % dan 1,82 %, respectively. While the total overproduction for all types of paper sizes was 0,67 %. Production results in December 2022, overproduction of A4, F4 and Q4 were 1,15 %, 3,26 % and 2,92 %, respectively. While the total overproduction for all types of paper sizes was 2,28 %. The standart deviation of the calculation of real conditions is 1,13%, meaning that the deviation of excess production in real conditions is greater.

Abstract

Accurate sales forecasting is essential for stakeholders to make strategic decisions. This study aims to compare the performance of two deep learning models, namely Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) and Convolutional Neural Network (CNN), in forecasting domestic motorcycle sales produced by AISI member manufacturers. The forecast is based on historical data from January 2021 to December 2024. The model was trained using time series data and the forecasting results for the period January to March 2025 were evaluated using the metrics Mean Absolute Error (MAE), Mean Squared Error (MSE), Root Mean Squared Error (RMSE), and Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE). The results show that the LSTM model produces lower MAE and MAPE values than CNN, which shows its superiority in providing more accurate and consistent predictions. On the other hand, the CNN model has lower RMSE and MSE values, thus being able to reduce large prediction errors. By comparing the results of LSTM, CNN, and actual data forecasting, the LSTM model is more suitable for forecasting motorcycle sales in Indonesia

Abstract

The utilization of mobile commerce (m-commerce) applications is closely linked to the examination of consumer loyalty. A substantial body of research underscores the significance of m-commerce services and user acceptance in enhancing customer retention. This study aims to investigate the correlation between usability and user loyalty within m-commerce platforms by applying Importance-Performance Matrix Analysis (IPMA) to identify critical areas for improvement. The research sample comprised 149 users of m-commerce applications. Findings from the IPMA indicate that the key areas for enhancement in terms of (1) loyalty include users’ ability to exercise control, the simplicity of control mechanisms, and overall ease of use; while for (2) usability, the priority aspects for improvement are error notification features, accuracy, and completeness of the application’s functionalities
