Abstract

This study aims to analyze the needs of the project-based learning outcomes assessment model at the Center for Excellence in Vocational High Schools. The first step in the research is the development of Project-Based Learning Assessment Models. Electricity was chosen because it is one of the intersecting materials in the departments at Vocational High Schools. The survey method was chosen to collect information on the needs of the assessment model. The survey data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The mode of the survey data was used to draw the required model conclusions. The number of respondents who filled out the questionnaire was from 10 SMK-PK in DKI Jakarta, West Java, Banten, and Lampung who applied Project-Based Learning in Practical Teaching. From the respondents' answers, it can be concluded that. Most schools require specific Guidelines for the Assessment of Project-based Learning yet to be made available. Most teachers require industry involvement in the creation of Practice-based Learning assignments. A large number of teachers need an assessment of the quality of assignments. Assessment of the Project-based Learning Process tends to be carried out at the implementation stage, while in the planning and reporting stages, it is carried out by a few teachers. The assessment tends to be carried out against groups with aspects assessed as competence and student performance. The assessment techniques carried out include written tests, observations, and portfolios. Standard sample documents required include Instrument Indicators and Rubrics.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to examine the impact of labor and capital utilization on production value within the plantation sector in Central Kalimantan Province. Additionally, it seeks to identify strategies for optimizing the use of labor and capital in this sector within the province. This particular research methodology falls under the category of explanatory research, which aims to examine the relationship between hypothesized variables and evaluate corresponding hypotheses. This study employs secondary data from various sources to examine the capital, labor, and production values in the plantation sector of Central Kalimantan Province over a 12-year period (2010-2021). The data sources include BPS Central Kalimantan Province, Ministry of Manpower and Transmigration, BKPMD, and other relevant sources. Based on the outcomes of the Multiple Linear Regression analysis conducted using SPSS version 25.0 (see attached), the findings of the analysis can be summarized as follows: The concurrent utilization of labor and capital in the plantation sector of Central Kalimantan Province has a notable and favorable impact on the output value. The optimization of labor and capital utilization in the plantation sector of Central Kalimantan Province from 2010 to 2021 has not consistently achieved optimal levels. There were periods where the utilization was above the optimum level, while in other years it fell below the optimum level

Abstract

Abstract

Prediction of the empirical formula for ground acceleration is an important thing to analyze for seismic estimation in an area. This needs to be done to reduce the negative impact of earthquakes as a more appropriate mitigation effort in planning and designing earthquake-resistant buildings. Therefore, the empirical formulation from Zhaou, et al is used, which is well adapted to the seismotectonic conditions of the North Sumatra region, which has high seismic vulnerability, considering that this region is located in an active subduction zone. This advantage allows the model to more accurately predict the maximum ground acceleration (PGA) produced by earthquakes in the region. The purpose of this research is to obtain an empirical formulation of the maximum ground acceleration value based on seismic parameters such as distance, depth, and magnitude. It will also show the relationship between these parameters and the value of maximum ground acceleration or peak ground acceleration (PGA) in the North Sumatra region. This study modifies the empirical formulation of Zhao, et al data sourced from the Meteorology Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) of North Sumatra in 2017-2023 with a magnitude of 3 - 6 Mw. This research uses non-linear regression with the least squares method. The results of the analysis of the empirical formula produce the constant value sought a = 1.4703 b = -0.0025, c = 20.7441, d = 0.0196, e = 0.0015, S_SS = -2.0843, and S_SL = -0.0529. An empirical formula was obtained for the North Sumatra region based on the research results. This equation can be used on a scale of 3.0 - 6.0 Mw and a distance to the earthquake source between 0 - 300 km. The relationship between each parameter of this empirical formula is that the PGA value will increase with the magnitude, and the PGA value will decrease as the epicentre distance increases.
