Abstract

This study aims to determine whether green product, distribution channel, and brand image influence the purchasing decision of Nestle Pure Life drinking water in Semarang City.The population in this study were buyers of Nestle Pure Life drinking water in the city of Semarang. Samples taken as many as 100 respondents using the Probability Sampling method that is Random sampling because the taking of sample members from the population is done randomly regardless of the strata that exist and in the population. While data collection uses a questionnaire. The results of the analysis show that green product has a positive influence on sales, distribution channels have a positive effect on purchasing decisions, and brand image has a positive effect on purchasing decisions.

Abstract

In the end of this Research first aims to find entrepreneurship training model for unemployment women in Demak regency. Model can be used as a reference for implementation of the training program entrepreneurship in various institutions formal and informal programs. Also useful forprogram management entrepreneurship training.To achieve that goal, used model design, which was adopted from the model research and development (The R & D model of Plomp, 1997).This research started with the preliminary investigation research and design (first year ) activities in the or introduction to know the issues appears on the field is related to entrepreneurship training for women unemployment done so far, whether that will be done by formal and informal programs. First year research will be arranged initial design entrepreneurship training model for women unemployment and equipment and the handbook of these organizations program Implementation services for women unemployment. Next, in the final test, evaluation and revision (next year) activities in initial design entrepreneurship training developed by doing testing to get a model evaluation entrepreneurship training for women unemployment.Based on data collected from almost all respondents had followed training programs or entrepreneurial skills that comes from the state budget, but it has not been able to create new entrepreneurs. This was attributed to the organizer programs that did not include cargo supporting order entrepreneurship in the curriculum  program that they were to perform.Entrepreneurship training model that developed in this research on some parts: 1) system of selection participants, 2) material and training method, 3) apprenticeship, 4) capital management, 5) mentoring for business, 6) evaluation and a report. Training materials on technical skills resource potential in accordance with local and interest entrepreneur, andentrepreneurial order that able to grow and develop the attitude entrepreneurship. The implementation of the training entrepreneurship use methods based on the main problem based learning (PBL).

Abstract

This research is motivated declining number of Bank Perkreditan Rakyat (BPR).Decreasing the number of BPR indicate unhealthy condition. In general, this study aimsto determine the model of the development of soft skills and reliability of bankingemployees in order to improve service quality and increase customer satisfaction.Specifically, this study aims to improve the quality of governance, healthy operationalmanagement and professional in the banking world. The model used in this study iscomprised of four variables where the variables in the first stage of soft skills andreliability of the independent variable while the quality of service becomes thedependent variable. Then in the second stage of skill and reliability as an independentvariable, the quality of service as an intervening variable, whereas the variable customersatisfaction as the dependent variable. Research data collection techniques by means ofa questionnaire on BPR customers spread in Semarang systematically arranged withmultiple choice answers are easy to understand. Distribution of the questionnaire bymeans of a direct encounter conducted in the period April to August 2014, with a sampleof some 120 people. Instrument (questionnaire) will go through the stages of validity andreliability. Research data will be analyzed using path analysis (path analysis). Test thestrength of the model using SEM (Structural Equation Modeling). The research provesthat there is a direct positive influence between soft skills and reliability to customersatisfaction. The results also prove that the quality of service is a positive interveningbetween soft skills and reliability to customer satisfaction.Keywords: soft skills, reliability, quality of service, customer satisfaction

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of motivation, compensation and work environment on employee productivity. The research sample was determined by simple random sampling method. Research data collection techniques by spreading questionnaires to employees PT.PELANGI in Demak systematically arranged with multiple choice answers are easy to understand. These samples included 58 people. Test research instruments using validity and reliability. This study uses multiple linear regression model. To get the regression BLUES (best linear Unbiased estimated), previously performed classical assumption. The research proves that there is a positive and significant impact either partially or simultaneously between motivation, compensation and work environment on employee productivity.Keywords: motivation, compensation, work environment, employee productivity

Abstract

This research was conducted at PT. Bangga Teknologi Indonesia area of Semarang which aims to find out: 1)Effect of Leadership Style on Work Discipline. 2) Effect of Work Environment on Work Discipline. 3) Influence ofCommitment to Work Discipline. 4) Effect of Leadership Style, Work Environment, and Commitment to WorkDiscipline. This type of research uses quantitative descriptive. Data collection techniques are done by distributingquestionnaires. The population in this study is the promoter of PT. Bangga Teknologi Indonesian with a sample of47 respondents and taken with Saturated Sampling techniques. The data analysis technique used is multiple linearregression analysis, t test, F test and R2 test. The results of the regression analysis test obtained the equation Y =11,494 + 0,085X1 + 0,605X2 + 0,780X3. This equation shows that the Work Discipline is influenced by LeadershipStyle, Work Environment, and Commitment. Based on the results of t test: 1) Leadership Style has a positive effecton Work Discipline. This is evidenced by t count > t table or 2.051> 1.680 and a significance value of 0.006 < 0.05,it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. 2) Work Environment has a positive effect on WorkDiscipline. This is evidenced by t count > t table or 2.351 > 1.680 and a significance value of 0.027 < 0.05, it can beconcluded that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. 3) Commitments have a positive effect on Work Discipline. Thisis evidenced by t count > t table or 3.229 > 1.680 and a significance value of 0.002 < 0.05, it can be concluded thatHo is rejected and Ha is accepted. 4) Leadership Style, Work Environment, and Commitment simultaneously orjointly influence the Work Discipline. This is evidenced based on the results of the F test that F-count > F-table is24,097 > 2,80 with a significance value of 0,000 < 0,05.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of motivation and emotional intelligence to employee performance. The research sample was determined by proportional random sampling method. Research data collection techniques by spreading questionnaires to employees of villages in the city of Semarang systematically arranged with multiple choice answers are easy to understand. The research sample is determined by slovin numbered 90 people. Previously conducted research with the instrument test validity and reliability. This study uses multiple linear regression model. The research proves that there is a positive and significant impact either partially or simultaneously motivation and emotional intelligence to employee performance.Keyword : motivation, emotional intelligence, employee performance

Abstract

Meningkatnya perkembangan suatu wilayah khususnya Brebes dan Semarang memiliki dampak dalam peningkatan permintaan akan jasa pelayanan transportasi khususnya angkutan umum. Masyarakat menginginkan pelayanan angkutan umum yang aman, nyaman, tepat waktu dan harga terjangkau. Keinginan masyarakat ini kontradiktif dengan kondisi prlayanan angkutan umum di lapangan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk merencanakan angkutan antar jemput yang aman, nyaman, tepat waktu, dan harga yang terjangkau oleh masyarakat. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan preferensi analisis konjoin yang di uji korelasi Kendall’s Tau dan Pearson dan analisis Biaya Operasional Kendaraan (BOK). Hasil penelitian menunjukan perminataan penumpang sebanyak 127 penumpang/hari, sebanyak 89% responden menatakan minat untuk menggunakan angkutan antar jemput, dari hasil analisis konjoin menunjukan bahwa masyarakat menginginkan pelayanan angkutan umum yang memiliki harga terjangkau, cepat dan tepat waktu. memenuhi SOP dan memperhatikan faktor keselamatan, kenyamanan dan ber ac. Perhitungan BOK menghasilkan harga tarif angkutan antar jemput sebesar Rp60.000,dengan menggunakan kendaraan jenis Isuzu tipe NLR 55 B Lx. Dari hasil analisis merekomendasikan bahwa angkutan antar jemput dalam provinsi rute Brebes-Semarang layak untuk dibuka dan dioperasikan.
