Abstract

This research is motivated declining number of Bank Perkreditan Rakyat (BPR).Decreasing the number of BPR indicate unhealthy condition. In general, this study aimsto determine the model of the development of soft skills and reliability of bankingemployees in order to improve service quality and increase customer satisfaction.Specifically, this study aims to improve the quality of governance, healthy operationalmanagement and professional in the banking world. The model used in this study iscomprised of four variables where the variables in the first stage of soft skills andreliability of the independent variable while the quality of service becomes thedependent variable. Then in the second stage of skill and reliability as an independentvariable, the quality of service as an intervening variable, whereas the variable customersatisfaction as the dependent variable. Research data collection techniques by means ofa questionnaire on BPR customers spread in Semarang systematically arranged withmultiple choice answers are easy to understand. Distribution of the questionnaire bymeans of a direct encounter conducted in the period April to August 2014, with a sampleof some 120 people. Instrument (questionnaire) will go through the stages of validity andreliability. Research data will be analyzed using path analysis (path analysis). Test thestrength of the model using SEM (Structural Equation Modeling). The research provesthat there is a direct positive influence between soft skills and reliability to customersatisfaction. The results also prove that the quality of service is a positive interveningbetween soft skills and reliability to customer satisfaction.Keywords: soft skills, reliability, quality of service, customer satisfaction

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of motivation, compensation and work environment on employee productivity. The research sample was determined by simple random sampling method. Research data collection techniques by spreading questionnaires to employees PT.PELANGI in Demak systematically arranged with multiple choice answers are easy to understand. These samples included 58 people. Test research instruments using validity and reliability. This study uses multiple linear regression model. To get the regression BLUES (best linear Unbiased estimated), previously performed classical assumption. The research proves that there is a positive and significant impact either partially or simultaneously between motivation, compensation and work environment on employee productivity.Keywords: motivation, compensation, work environment, employee productivity

Abstract

This research was conducted at PT. Bangga Teknologi Indonesia area of Semarang which aims to find out: 1)Effect of Leadership Style on Work Discipline. 2) Effect of Work Environment on Work Discipline. 3) Influence ofCommitment to Work Discipline. 4) Effect of Leadership Style, Work Environment, and Commitment to WorkDiscipline. This type of research uses quantitative descriptive. Data collection techniques are done by distributingquestionnaires. The population in this study is the promoter of PT. Bangga Teknologi Indonesian with a sample of47 respondents and taken with Saturated Sampling techniques. The data analysis technique used is multiple linearregression analysis, t test, F test and R2 test. The results of the regression analysis test obtained the equation Y =11,494 + 0,085X1 + 0,605X2 + 0,780X3. This equation shows that the Work Discipline is influenced by LeadershipStyle, Work Environment, and Commitment. Based on the results of t test: 1) Leadership Style has a positive effecton Work Discipline. This is evidenced by t count > t table or 2.051> 1.680 and a significance value of 0.006 < 0.05,it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. 2) Work Environment has a positive effect on WorkDiscipline. This is evidenced by t count > t table or 2.351 > 1.680 and a significance value of 0.027 < 0.05, it can beconcluded that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. 3) Commitments have a positive effect on Work Discipline. Thisis evidenced by t count > t table or 3.229 > 1.680 and a significance value of 0.002 < 0.05, it can be concluded thatHo is rejected and Ha is accepted. 4) Leadership Style, Work Environment, and Commitment simultaneously orjointly influence the Work Discipline. This is evidenced based on the results of the F test that F-count > F-table is24,097 > 2,80 with a significance value of 0,000 < 0,05.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of motivation and emotional intelligence to employee performance. The research sample was determined by proportional random sampling method. Research data collection techniques by spreading questionnaires to employees of villages in the city of Semarang systematically arranged with multiple choice answers are easy to understand. The research sample is determined by slovin numbered 90 people. Previously conducted research with the instrument test validity and reliability. This study uses multiple linear regression model. The research proves that there is a positive and significant impact either partially or simultaneously motivation and emotional intelligence to employee performance.Keyword : motivation, emotional intelligence, employee performance
