Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the correlation of stress with the increase of blood glucoselevel in diabetes mellitus patient in Ruang Mawar RSUD Sidoarjo. The study used Correlational Analytic design with Cross Sectional approach. The population was all the patients with diabetes mellitus in Ruang Dhoho RSUD Prof Dr Soekandar Mojosari (44 patient) and 24 patients were taken as sample by purposive sampling. The independent variable was thestress levels and the dependent variable was the blood glucose level. The data was taken using questionnaires and Digital Glukotest. Data was processed and continuedwith Spearmans Rho statisticaltest using SPSS 16. The results showed ρ (0.012) <α (0.05), so that H0was rejected. This means that there is correlation of stress with the increase of blood glucoselevel, with cc = 0.502 shows a strong correlation. Patients with diabetes mellitus is expected to communicate with their family or medical personnel in overcome the stress that arises in order to speed up healing.Key words: Stress, Increase in BloodGlucoseLevels

Abstract

A professional nurse should be able to interpret the data and the results of the study and thepatient supporting data such as laboratory outcomes and interpret Electro cardiogram (ECG).A skill of nurses in performing the interpretation of ECG results is needed in the handling of cardiovascular distress.The purpose of the research is to know the correlation of nurse knowledge about interpretation of the electrocardiogram with the accuracyin implementing standard procedure of operationalsyndrome of acute coronaryin integrated intensive care installation roomof SidoarjoRegional Public Hospital.This research design used was Analytical Correlational, with cross sectionalapproach. Population in this research were all nurses in the Intensive Care Installation Integrated Hospital Sidoarjo, samples in this study were nurses in ICCU and ECU room of Sidoarjo General Public Hospital, sampling techniques used were purposive Sampling .The majority of respondents knowledge is good that as many as 7 respondents (47%).Most respondents were correct in performing standard operating procedures in patients with Acute Coronary Syndrome as many as 8 respondents (53%).Statistictest used chi square with significance level of ρ = 0.05 obtained0.003 H1unaccepted which means there is no correlation of nurse knowledge about interpretation of the electrocardiogram with the accuracyin implementing standard procedure of operationalsyndrome of acute coronaryin integrated intensive care installation roomof SidoarjoRegional Public Hospital.Implementation of nursing care to emergency room patients used the approach of the nursing process in accordance the emergency priority.It now there has been the development of the nurses role in developing duties from the level of basic nursing towards complexmodern nursing.In the emergency service, Cognitive and Psychomotor are not the only factor affecting the accuracy in implementing emergency action.Keyword : Knowledge, Electro Cardiogram, Accuracy & Acute Coronary Syndrome

Abstract

Operation or surgery require patient to have calm in his condition so that the operation can easily going. One of way to reducing an anxiousness is doing technique of Breathing relaxation. Progressive relaxation is effectively the way of relaxation and reducing level of anxiousness that is the way to taking a rest of body muscles, so that can be followed with relaxation of mental and mind. This research aims to analysis influence of breathing relaxation technique to reducing level of anxiousness at pre operation patient in Mataram Room of RSUD Prof Dr. Soekandar Mojosari. The research Design uses Pre-Experimental design in one subject group. The population of this research is every patient who will have experience of operation in Mataram Room of RSUD Prof Dr. Soekandar Mojosari, in May 2016, using sampling technique of consecutive sampling. Identify anxiousness level of patient of pre operation by using sheet of questionnaire before and after giving of technique of relaxation. Result of research will be tested by using Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. Results of data analysis using Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test that is founded the significant of probability value is 0,002. The calculate probability value is smaller than the probability value that is specified of α=0.05, so that H0 is rejected. This result indicates that there is influence of giving the breathing relaxation technique to reducing of anxiousness at pre operation patient in Mataram Room of RSUD Prof Dr.Soekandar Mojosari. With giving the breathing relaxation technique can reduces level of anxiousness at pre operation patient, so that can help the patient to prepare his self getting the surgery.Keyword: Breathing Relaxation Technique,Anxiousness,Pre Operation.
