Abstract

Pengukuran mual muntah menggunakan Rhodes Index Nausea Vomiting and Retching (RINVR). Semakin sering diberikan intervensi akupresur, maka keluhan mual muntah semakin berkurang.

Abstract

CKD patients have kidney damage and their function is replaced using hemodialysis. An indicator of the success of hemodialysis patients in managing fluids is control weight gain, known as Interdialytic Weight Gain (IDWG). The purpose of this study was to determine the correlation of long term hemodialysis and Inter Dyalisis Weight Gain (IDWG) in CKD Patients. Correlation analytic research design with a cross-sectional approach. The population in this study were all patients undergoing hemodialysis at RSU Dr. Soeroto Ngawi. Sampling technique consecutive sampling. The sample in this study amounted to 42 people. The research instrument used an observation sheet. Data analysis using Spearman Rho test. The results showed that most of the respondents underwent hemodialysis < 12 months, namely 26 people (62%), for hemodialysis 3-4 hours, 42 respondents (100%), and most of the respondents experienced IDWG which could not be tolerated, namely 30 people (71.5%). The results of the Spearman Rho test showed that p-value = 0.000 so that H1 was accepted, meaning that there was a correlation between the length of time undergoing hemodialysis and duration of HD with Interdyalitic Weight Gain (IDWG) at Dr. Soeroto Ngawi General Hospital, meaning that the longer you undergo hemodialysis, the lower the IDWG value or the more tolerated the IDWG value. It is expected that patient seek as much information as possible from health workers, especially regarding fluid restriction diets and related to increasing IDWG so that fluid intake is more controlled, trying to control food and drinks so that fluid intake is maintained and IDWG can be tolerated.

Abstract

Nurses are essential in providing nursing care to patients for pre, intra, and postoperative cataracts. An appropriate nursing diagnosis can help clients achieve optimal health. The purpose of the study was to identify nursing diagnoses in pre, intra, and postoperative cataracts. The design of the study used qualitative descriptive research design. The population of all patients undergoing surgery was 30, and data was collected through interviews and observations. The results of the study: preoperative nursing diagnosis consisted of sensory perception and anxiety disorders 30 (100%), impaired physical mobility, activity intolerance, and risk of falling 3 (10%), knowledge deficit 2(6,7%), body image disorders 1 (3,3%). Intraoperative nursing diagnosis: impaired tissue integrity 30 (100%), acute pain 7(23,3%), hypothermia 4 (13%), hypothermia risk 3 (10%). Postoperative nursing diagnosis, all participants experienced sensory perception disorders 30 (100%), acute pain 7(23.3%), infection risk 5(16,7%), impaired physical mobility, activity intolerance and fall risk 3 (10%), knowledge deficit 2(6.7%). Comorbidity affects the enforcement of nursing diagnoses. The correct nursing diagnosis is a reference for nurses in providing continuous intervention so that quality nursing services are obtained

Abstract

Screen time in front of an electronic screen for a long time causes disturbances in children's sleep patterns, so that children will have difficulty concentrating, become irritable and appear tired. The aim of the research was to determine the relationship between screen time and sleep patterns in toddler children at the Posyandu in Mlaten Village. The research design used cross sectional. The population in this study were all mothers who had children aged 12-36 months at the Mlaten Village Posyandu, totaling 61 respondents. The sampling technique uses purposive Sampling. The research instrument uses sleep disturbance scale for children (SDSC). Data analysis using spearman rho. The research results showed that the majority of respondents who had high screen time activities (>120) per day experienced disturbed sleep patterns (95%). Spearman Rho test results show p value of 0.000. There is a relationship between screen time and sleep patterns in children. Excessive exposure to electronic screens with screen lighting that is too bright suppresses the secretion of melatonin, which regulates the sleep-wake cycle by influencing sleep phase delays. This causes disturbances in the quantity and quality of children's sleep.
