Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this R&D research is to produced student worksheet based on gyroscope experiment’s video as a physics learning media of senior high school on the topic of application of the law of conservation of angular momentum. This research was conducted at the Laboratory of Physics Education Riau University in December 2014 until June 2015. There were four phases of this research that are preliminary studies, design, develop and validate. We need three lecturers of physics education and two teachers of physics to validate our product. From the results obtained a description that student worksheet based on gyroscope experiment’s video developed has been valid with average scores of 3.56 for the gyroscope experiment’s video and 3.51 for student worksheet based on gyroscope experiment’s video with very high category for all devices. Therefore, student worksheet based on gyroscope experiment’s video declared eligible to be used as a physics learning media of senior high school in the material application of the concept of angular momentum conservation law. Abstract

Abstract : This R & D research aimed  to design, create, and validating an experimental video-based worksheets of the law of conservation of angular momentum as a media of physics learning in senior high school. This research was conducted at the Laboratory of Physics Education Riau University in December 2014 until June 2015. The research products developed based on the flowchart and storyboard that has been designed. Three lecturers physical education and two senior teachers of physics has validated this product. The finding of the research showed that the video of angular momentum conservation laws experiments has a validity index of 3.48 and  video-trial based worksheets the law of conservation of momentum has a validity index of 3.49. Based on the validity index, showed that experimental video and video-trial based worksheet declared in valid. Keywords: the law of the conservation of angular momentum, video-trial based worksheet

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to describe and differentiate the learning motivation physics science between the implementation of cooperative learning type round table group with conventional learning group. This type of research is a quasi-experimental, with a nonequivalent control group design. Population in this research is all of X classes with 148 students. Meanwhile the samples are 30 students in X MIA 2 as control class and 28 students in X MIA 5 as experiment class. The instrument of data in this research is a ARCS  motivation questionnaire. Analysis of the data in this study was a descriptive analysis that was used to view the category motivation to learning physics science with use n-gain formula. The analysis data shows n-gain of students motivation to learning physics science of the control class is 0.18 with low category and n-gain of the experiment class is 0.34 with medium category. Meanwhile n-gain for each indicator motivation to learning physics science of the control class is 0.19 with low category and n-gain of the experiment class is 0.35 with medium category. Therefore, it can be concluded that implementation of cooperative learning type round table can be used as an alternative in the learning process in the classroom X MAN 1 Pekanbaru.
