Abstract

Integrated geoelectrical resistivity, hydrogeochemical and soil properties analysis methods were used to study the area that has been applied with fertilization for long duration and non-Fertilization in Machang, North Kelantan. The Machang plain is covered with Quaternary fluvial sediments overlying granite bedrock. The drainage system is dendritic with the main river flowing into the South China Sea. In this study, the area was divided into two sites. Site-1 is the non-fertilized site, and Site-2 is the regularly-fertilized site. At shallow depth from the surface to depths of 75 cm a lower average geoelectrical resistivity values were obtained from the regularly fertilized site which has not been fertilized for the last ten months prior to the survey. The average resistivity values were around 0.366 times less in unfertilized sites. Residual nitrate and chloride were still present at the regularly chemically fertilized sites. At sites where no chemical fertilizer was added, the nitrate and chloride concentration were also found. These are due to the faces excretion of from the farm animals. The presence of nitrate and chloride content in pore water reduced the resistivity values. Thus despite low moisture content, the resistivity values to remain low. Normally, resistivity values are inversely proportional to moisture content for area with similar soil condition.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aimed to describe the results of cognitive learning physics outcome through the implementation of accelerated learning MASTER type model in SMK Labor Binaan FKIP UR Pekanbaru. The type of research is pre experimental, with a comparison group design intact. The subjek of this research is XI TKJ class with 22 students which used implementation with accelerated learning MASTER type learning model, and XI RPL class with 26 students that used conventional learning classes. The data in this study were analyzed descriptively. Based on the result of cognitive learning of students in the class implementation of accelerated learning MASTER type are in the very good category with persentse 85.22% whereas, in the conventional classroom learning cognitive the category good with the percentage 76.36%. It can be concluded that science teaching physics with accelerated learning MASTER type learning model can improve cognitive achievement of students in the temperature and heat material in SMK Labor Binaan FKIP UR Pekanbaru.Keywords: Learning Outcomes, Accelerated Learning MASTER Type, Temperature and Heat

Abstract

Abstract : This study was aimed to determine students learning outcomes by the application of Probing Prompting model. This study was conducted in SMA PGRI Pekanbaru. This study was a quasi-experimental using intact group comparison design. The subject in this study was student of X MIPA class in SMA PGRI Pekanbaru. Subject on this study obtained from two classes based on homogeneity test and the sample was chooseen randomly so that experiment and control classed could be obtained. The data was collected by using students learning outcomes after Probing Prompting model was applied in experiment class and conventional learning was applied in control class. The data was analize by using descriptive analysis. This study showed that the average number of students absorption ability which Probing Prompting model was applied 79,46% and 71,00% for the conventional learning. It can be concluded that the application of Probing Prompting model could improve students learning outcomes in momentum and impulse at X class SMA PGRI Pekanbaru.Keywords : Probing Prompting model, students learning outcomes, descriptive analysis

Abstract

Evaluation of the fate of nitrate and analysis of shallow soil water in a tobacco plantation area were conducted using integration of soil properties and hydrogeochemical analysis, and geo-electrical resistivity methods, taking measurements four times within a three-month period. The sampling data were taken in two areas: a fertilized and a nonfertilized zone. Chemical fertilizer was introduced to the fertilized zone after the first data acquisition. Hydrogeohemical analysis of the soil water was conducted from the surface to a depth of 1 m at an interval of 25 cm. The results show that the cations in the soil water were quite comparable for each monitoring time. Conversely, relatively larger changes in anion content occurred at the surface until a depth of 1 m. In particular, the nitrate concentration reached its maximum level at about 67 days after fertilization and returned to its initial value approximately 195 days after fertilization. The geo-electrical resistivity profiles exhibited no indication of low resistivity values prior to fertilization near the surface. However, lower resistivity values were found in the fertilized zone at the second and third measurement. The result shows that the adjoining environment dissolved the nitrate concentration in the pore soil within the three-month time period.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of the research is to know the physical cognitive learning outcomes by implementing probing prompting model. The research is done in SMA PGRI Pekanbaru. The research used a quasi-experiment using intact group comparison research plan. Population of this experiment was the sophomore of science class of the high school. The sample was taken from 2 classes that consist of a control class and an experiment class. Data collecting was done by cognitive learning outcomes test after implementing probing prompting model to the experiment class and conventional model to the control class. Data analysis was done descriptively and the result is showing the student on the experiment class could absorb 80.63% of the teaching and the student on the conventional class only 75.88%. The conclusion is by implementing probing prompting model could increase the cognitive learning outcomes of the student specifically on optics subject.Keywords : Probing Prompting, cognitive study result, descriptive analysis

Abstract

Abstract : Aims of this study is to find the learning result of students' formal thinking ability by applying cooperative learning model with course review horay type on momentum and impulse material in class X SMAN 1 Kuantan Mudik. This research was a quasi experimental research with non-Equivalent control group design. The population of this study was the students of class X MIA and the sample was the students X MIA 3 as the experimental class and the students of X MIA 2 as the control class. Data were obtained and cunducted through the test of the learning outcomes of formal thinking skills before and after applying course review horay model in the experimental class and conventional learning in the control class. Data analysis of this research was appliying a descriptive and inferential method. The results shows that the average score of absorption rate in the pretest of the applying cooperative learning model with course review horay class and conventional class is 39.54% and 40.46% with category of less effective. The average absorption rate in the applying cooperative learning model with course review horay class of posttest score and conventional class is 70.11% in effective category and 51.49% in quite effective category. The increase of students' formal thinking ability (N-Gain) in the applying cooperative learning model with course review horay class is 0.5 in the medium category and the conventional class is 0.17 in low category. T- Test tested obtained p = 0.000 it means p <0.05, then Ho is rejected which means there is a significant difference between the learning result of students' formal thinking ability physics by applying cooperative learning model with Course Review Horay type if compared than conventional learning on the material momentum and impulse at class X MIA SMAN 1 Kuantan Mudik. It can be concluded that the application of course review horay model can be used as an alternative in the learning process in class X MIA SMAN 1 Kuantan Mudik. Abstract

The objective of this study is to describe the implementation of autenthic assessment in physics learning class X SMA in Pekanbaru. The study was conducted from May up to June 2017. Quantitative approach used in this survey research. The subjects of the study were 7 teachers who taught physics class X at SMAN 1 Pekanbaru, SMAN 2 Pekanbaru, SMAN 8 Pekanbaru, SMAN Plus Provinsi Riau and SMA BabussalamPekanbaru. The instrument used questionnaires implementation of autenthic assessment. Data analysis technique was descriptive analysis. The result showed that the percentage of autenthic assessment in three aspects such as affective aspect obtained percentage of implementation 79.69%, cognitive aspect obtained 75.51% and psikomotor assessment aspect obtained percentage of implementation 76.98%. Three aspects of the research (affective, cognitive and psikomotor) are included in good level. It can be concluded that authentic assessment implementation based on kurikulum 2013 class X SMA in Pekanbaru in good level with percentage 78.71%.

Abstract

This study aims to describe students skills in carrying out practicum on straight motion material in high school. This type of research is descriptive research supported by a quantitative approach while the method is survey. The sample in this study is class X IPA 1 and class X IPA 2 with a total of 67 students, the determination of the sample is done by purposive sampling.The data in this study in the form of scores of students skills in carrying out practicum on straight motion material in high school which were analyzed descriptively, scoring, tabulating and categorizing according to the category level of students process skills.. This research is seen from the aspects of preparation, implementation and closing. Based on the data analysis obtained the skill level in the preparation aspect gained a score of 3.35 with good category, the implementation aspect gained a score of 3.25 with a fairly good category and the closing aspect gained a score of 3.49 with a good score. Thus it can be concluded that students of class X IPA 1 and X IPA 2 in SMA Negeri 14 Pekanbaru have the skills to carry out practicum on good straight motion material.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find the result of students cognitive through the implementation of gas kinetic learning media based on the inquiry approach of XI MIA 3 SMAN 4 Pekanbaru. This research form is pre-experimental with one shot case study method. The data of this study is student’s cognitive score by the post-test . The analysis conducted on the student’s cognitive learning outcomes in the form of study absorption, learning effectivity and the percentage of students pass of each tested indicator. The result obtained from this study are, from 36 students, 3 students have a very good study absorption, 23 have a good study absorption, 8 have a good study absorption, 1 has a less good study absorption and 1 fail. The learning effectivity is in a good category with a percentage of 69 ,4%. The conclusion is physics learning with inquiry approach goes well.

Abstract

Analysis Of Student Higher Order Thinking Skills In Solving Physics Examination. This study aims to determine the percentage of national physics exam questions that were categorized Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) and to know the ability of high-level thinking students. The method that was used in this research is descriptive research. The subjects of this study are 129 students of MAN 2 Model Pekanbaru. The data obtained in this study was percentage of Physics 2016 with HOTS category that was analyzed using indicator problems according to Thomas & Thorne is 15%, and data analysis of students high thinking ability on the matter of national exam physics obtained through student answers in answering the questions with the percentage of students able to answer 46%. Based on the data analysis can be concluded that the national exam of physics is able to measure the ability to think high-level students who average were categorized as low average.
