Abstract

Abstract : The title of this research is ‘’ Effect of Group Counseling towards the Reduction of Academic Stress of First – Year Students of Academic Year 2014/2015 at SMAN 2 Siak Hulu’’. The purposes of this research were 1) to know the description of students’ academic stress before given group counseling service, 2) to know the dynamic description of the group counseling implementation in order to reduce students’ academic stress, 3) to know the description of students’ academic stress reduction after given group counseling service, 4) to know how much the difference of students’ academic stress reduction before and after given group counseling service is,  5) to know how much the influence of group counseling towards the reduction of students’ academic stress is.  The instrument used in this research was academic stress scale. The subjects of this research were 101 first – year students of academic year 2014/2015 at SMAN 2 Siak Hulu. The sample of this research was 30 students and they were selected by simple random sampling. The description of academic stress before given group counseling was in high category (50%), medium category (46,67%), and low category (3,33%). The description of students’ academic stress reduction after given group counseling was in high category (10%), medium category (53,33%), and low category (36,67%). Based on the result of the calculation of the correlation coefficient between X1 and X2 was 0,505 and the determination coefficient (r2) was 0,255. This means that the contribution of group counseling towards the reduction of  academic stress was 25,5%. Therefore, it can be known that ttest was bigger than ttable, (7,93 > 2,000) so that Ha was accepted . So, it means that there was influence of group counseling towards the reduction of  academic stress  of first – year students of academic year 2014/2015 at SMAN 2 Siak Hulu. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the effect of group counseling services to decrease stress levels class VIII IT Smp Al-Ikhsan Boarding School Riau. The research method used was experimental method. To collect the data used purposive sampling technique. This research subject is class VIII SMP IT Al-Ikhsan Boarding School Lists academic year 2014/2015 amounted to 30 students. Results showed that group counseling can reduce stress levels of students, is seen from the results of the analysis tcount greater than the value ttable with significance level of 5% (7.8> 2:00). Thus Ho is rejected and Ha accepted, which means there is significantly different to the decline in stress levels of students before the post given group counseling services. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the effect of group counseling services for interpersonal competence improvement high school students in class X IIS N 12 Pekanbaru. The method used was experimental method. The collect the data used total sampling technique. The subject were high school students in class X IIS N Pekanbaru were 30 students. Before have guidance services group all interpersonal competence stundents competence is category is medium. In the process of guidance services group to improve progress in the interpersonal competence every meeting. The result showed that group counseling can improve the interpersonal competence of students. This is evident from analysis the value of is greater than t table with a significant level of  5% (7,5>2,000). Than Ho rejected and Ha accepted,which means there is a significant difference to the improvement of interpersonal competence of students before given after the guidance services group. Interpersonal competence students is better after has guidance services group than before guidance services group. Guidance services group give positive effect improve to interpersonal competence. The technique to get data in the research using by only instrument and observation,the next researcher suggestion to add technique to get accurate data. To the next researcher can do reseach by the other aspect of interpersonal competence. Key Words: Guidance Services Group,Interpersonal Competence.

Abstract

Abstract : This study aims to determine the effect of the increase in group counseling career planning class X Mia SMA 12 pekanbaru school year 2014/2015. This research was conducted in SMA 12 months Pekanbaru from March 2015 to May 2015. The method used was experimental method to pattern one-group pretest-posttest.Populasi all students career planning is low and 30 of the population sampled (purposive sampling) Instruments Data collection was a questionnaire using Guttman scale for the dependent variable: Improved Career Planning (Y). Data analysis technique used is the statistical correlation techniques. The result showed that group counseling is partially an effect on career planning MIA students of class X SMA Negeri 12 Pekanbaru school year 2014/2015. This is based on the results of analyzes, calculations show thitung> ttable (11.27> 2,000). So it can be concluded that guidance on career planning influential group of students with a contribution of 40% while 60% is influenced by factors - other factors contained in the students themselves and the environment. Abstract

Abstract : The title of this research is "Effect On The Improvement Of Information Services Student Interest On Higher Education Class XI Farmasi Ikasari Pekanbaru T.P. 2014/2015”. The aim in this study were 1) To know the description given level of student interest before the service information, 2). To know the process of implementation of information services on the college, 3). To describe the level of interest of the students after being given information services, 4). To determine differences in the level of interest of the students before and after the information services, 5). To find out How much influence information services to increase student interest. The subjects were students of class XI Farmasi IKASARI pekanbaru totaling 116 students. This study uses a total of sampling (samples saturated). Which means that all members become members of the sample population. Picture of student interest before being given the information service of 75% in the high category, the category was 24.14% and 0.86% lower categories. Picture of student interest after being given information service 97.41% in the high category, the category of medium and low category 2:59% 0%. Based on the calculation results obtained that the correlation coefficient between  Is equal to 0495, then the determinant coefficient () is   = 0.245 x 100 = 24.5 %. So the contribution of information services by 24.5%, while 75.5% of other factors. Judging from the t test with dk 230 and standard error set at 5%, then t_tabel = 1.980. Which means that in this study there is a significant difference to the increasing interest of the students before and after being given the information services.
