Abstract

Anxiety is a condition where individual or group has anxious feeling (estimate/opinion) and the act of nervous system to respond a vague threat,non-spesific.This research uses Pre-Experiment design with a frame of Pre-Post Test design without control,purpose to identify the influence of therapheutic communication toward the decrease of patient’s anxiety level for Pre-Operation patients cured in Surgery Room RSU in Jember Regency using Consecutive Sampling technigue. The intervention process uses introduction of analytical therapheutic communikative intraction process. A result of the process applies on regres test on which t calculation is much bigger than t table, that is 4,479 > 2,093. In conclusion, every Pre-operation patient has anxiety, and therapheutic communication give meaningful and significant influence to decrease Pre-operation of patient’s anxiety level. As remmendation, in this research, the therapheutic communication done well will be able to decrease patien’s anxiety level so it must be applied in nursing service especially Pre-operation. Abstract

Construction constitutes an effort to fix and increases science, skill, attitude or personality characters. In do manner construction a hall head shall can do approaching and understands nurse characteristic that will at build, so gets to apply construction method suitably so effort that doing to result optimal result. Besides executor nurse in each construction process phase of planning, performing and evaluation constitutes an important thing to be noticed collaboration interlaces that since early, so construction process walks smoothly. This research utilize qualitative approaching that aims to give construction picture of hall head to executor nurse manner that becomes to take on answer him in service to care, on a more special figures to process construction of planning, performing and its evaluation. Collecting data is done through visceral interview( indepth interview ). This observational respondent consisting of four hall head of nurse room lodge hospital that is at Jember city, and three executor nurse of each hall that carry the wind its hall become respondent in observational it so its amount available 12 person. Result observational to point out that planning constitutes a necessary for thing hall head before performs construction. Better hall head sits with talk about nurse manner construction that effective, mutually commutes experience or concept even in build. In each phase of advisable construction process with nurse that is built of since first few so most composes collaboration and positive commitment. On manner construction process is required marks sense special default about manner construction that cans be base and referenced to prevent incorrect perception and prevents subjective manager to employee. Abstract

Perception can be defined as a way of organism to give meaning. Perception called as comunication care, because if perception is inacurrate, it’s imposibble happened effective comunication. Perception can choose a message to diregard other message. Excelsior degree of quality of perception betwen individuals, its getting carier and they often comunicate increasingly and consequence tends increasingly forming group of cultur or group of identity. Injection contraception in Indonesia is one of popular contraception. Injection contraception applied is lomg acting progestin. As a result of this research is 53 responden (66,25%) mother has average of age 20-30 years. Respondens mayority using contraception of injection are graduate from high school (SMU). Having status as house wife are (68 (55 %).  Having one child, the amount is (31 (40%), obtaining knowledge in the form of information from health officer are 49 (61%), injection contraception is applied based on  safety and practical reason are 80 (100%), 62 (77,5%) wich has sigh of injection contraception making not regular menstruation. Sex activity becomes free are 80 (100%), it’s become safety device like condom and IUD aren’t required. Perception of responders to the advantage of the usage of injection contraception who tell good are 61 (76,3%). Man in general receives information from environment through some process, therefore in comprehending perception there must be a process which the information they got through the memory of a live organisme. Abstract

Protokol recruitment perawat berbasis kompetensi merupakan suatu pedoman dalam pelaksanaan recruitment perawat yang terdiri dari regulasi, pedoman, standar prosedur operasional (SPO). Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh penerapan protokol recruitment perawat berbasis kompetensi di Rumah Sakit Santa Elisabeth Medan. Partisipan penelitian 16 orang. Metode penelitian: action research. Data kuantitatif yaitu tingkat pengetahuan partisipan diperoleh melalui penyebaran kuesioner dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif diperoleh hasil adanya peningkatan pengetahuan sebelum dan sesudah pelaksanaan recruitment dengan menggunakan protokol recruitment berbasis kompetensi dari 80% menjadi 100%. Data kualitatif diperoleh dari hasil FGD, analisa dengan content analysis.  Dampak Penerapan Protokol recruitment perawat berbasis kompetensi di Rumah Sakit Santa Elisabeth Medan adalah perekrutan yang dilaksanakan lebih sistematis sesuai alur/prosedur yang telah ditetapkan; jumlah pelamar lebih banyak hasil dari perekrutan lebih bermutu.Implementation of Competency-Based Nurse Recruitment Protocol at Santa Elisabeth Hospital, Medan Competency-based recruitment protocols at the Santa Elisabeth hospital in Medan is a guideline in the implementation of nurse recruitment which consists of regulations, guidelines, standard operating procedur (SPO). This study aims to determine the effect of the application of competency-based recruitment protocol at the Santa Elisabeth hospital in Medan. Study participants were 16 people. Research methods: action research. Quantitative data that is the level of participant knowledge obtained through the distribution of questionnaires were analyzed using descriptive statistics obtained the results of an icrease in knowledge before and after implementation of recruitment using competency based recruitment protocols from 80% to 100%. Qualitative data were obtained from FGD result, analysis with content analysis. The impact of the implementation of competency-based nurse recruitment protocols at the Santa Elisabeth hospital in Medan is the recruitment that is carried out more systematically according to the established procedures; the number of applicants more results from better quality recruitment.

Abstract

Abstrak Latar Belakang: Tujuan Penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat perbedaan efikasi diri perawat dalam pelaksanaan identifikasi pasien sebelum dan sesudah pelaksanaan pelatihan komunikasi efektif. Metode: Dengan Metode quasi-eksperimen desain one group pretest-posttest. Subjek penelitian adalah 17 orang perawat laki-laki dan 28 orang perawat perempuan di rumah Sakit Kota Medan. Sebelum dan Sesudah perlakuan data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan kuesioner yang terdiri dari 12 pernyataan untuk komunikasi efektif, 35 pernyataan untuk efikasi diri perawat. Pelatihan dilaksanakan selama 2 hari dengan menggunakan panduan komunikasi efektif dalam pelaksanaan identifikasi pasien. Hasil: Dari hasil output Paired samples test, nilai mean paired difrence adalah sebesar -13.077. (54.62-67,69 = -13.077, dan selisih perbedaan tersebut antara -20,326 sampai dengan -5,828 (95%). Berdasarkan nilai t hitung 3.930>t tabel 2.179 ini memiliki arti bahwa ada pengaruh pelatihan -2,990 dengan nilai signifikansi 0,002, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa setelah pelaksanaan pelatihan komunikasi efektif, ada peningkatan efikasi diri perawat. Nilai output paired samples test adalah 0.002<0.05 menyatakan bahwa ada pengaruh pelatihan komunikasi efektif terhadap peningkatan efikasi diri, hal ini juga didukung dengan nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 0.350 dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0.002,ini menunjukkan tingkat hubungan yang kuat, yang berarti pemberian pelatihan komunikasi efektif memberikan efek yang besar untuk meningkatkan efikasi diri perawat dalam pelaksanaan identifikasi pasien. Kesimpulan: Menjamin kualitas asuhan dibutuhkan sumber daya manusia (SDM) yang berkualitas juga, untuk mengawal kualitas SDM dapat dilakukan melalui: pendidikan berkelanjutan, sertifikasi, pengakuan kompetensi, supervisi, choaching, dan kegiatan pendukung lainnya. Kata Kunci: efikasi diri, identifikasi pasien, komunikasi efektif, pelatihan, perawat Effective Communication Training to Improve Nurses Self Efficacy in the Implementation of Patient Identification Abstract Background: The purpose of this study was to determine whether there were differences in nurse's self-efficacy in the implementation of patient identification before and after the implementation of effective communication training. Method: With the quasi-experimental method of one group pretest-posttest design. The subjects of the study were 17 male nurses and 28 female nurses at Medan City Hospital. Before and After treatment the data was collected using a questionnaire consisting of 12 statements for effective communication, 35 statements for the nurse's self-efficacy. The training was carried out for 2 days using effective communication guidelines in the implementation of patient identification. Result: From the results of the Paired samples test output, the mean paired difrence value is -13,077. (54.62- 67.69 = -13.077, and the difference between -20,326 to -5,828 (95%). Based on the value of t arithmetic 3,930> t table 2,179 this means that there is an influence of training -2.990 with a significance value of 0.002, p. this shows that after the implementation of effective communication training, there was an increase in the nurse's self-efficacy, the output value of paired samples test was 0.002 <0.05, indicating that there was an effect of effective communication training on improving self-efficacy, this was also supported by a correlation coefficient of 0.350 with a significance value of 0.002, this shows the level of strong relationships, which means the provision of effective communication training has a great effect to improve the self-efficacy of nurses in the implementation of patient identification. Conclusion: Guarantine the quality of care required quality human resources (HR) as well, to oversee the quality of HR can be done through: continuing education, certification, competency recognition, supervision, choaching, and other supporting activities.
