Abstract

AbstractThis paper is the result of research that examines the concept of ecological humanism in the interpretation of al-Mishbah. This is interesting because this paper discusses the more specific context of environmental philosophy in the perspective of al-Misbah interpretation. This commentary was written by M. Quraish Shihab. The concept of ethical nature of the environment starts from controversial thought between traditional humanism and ecological humanism. Ecological humanism actually conveys the thought that humans should be responsible for the natural environment as it should not be depleted. In brief, the epistemology systems in the interpretation of al-Mishbah show a strong system built and fused among scientific concepts, penalties, and values built on the foundation of faith and strong belief. Thus, the faith and belief are not separated from the nature. Then the damage of nature gets the punishment from God in the context of maintaining the nature closely related to the values of faith and worship. Keywords: Ecological humanism, the interpretation of al-Misbah

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap nilai-nilai leluhur Suku Bajo di Sulamu Nusa Tenggara Timur dalam membangun sikap bertoleransi. Metode penelitian ini yaitu studi deskriptif analisis. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa dalam membangun sikap bertoleransi masyarakat Suku Bajo sejalan dengan nilai-nilai yang terdapat dalam agama yang mereka anut yaitu Islam. Adapun nilai-nilai leluhur yang membangun untuk bersikap toleransi yaitu dari sisi nilai-nilai seperti keselarasan, sosial budaya, dan juga agama, yang semuanya merupakan nilai yang sampai sekarang masih dipertahankan oleh masyarakat Suku Bajo.

Abstract

Sejak tahun 2004, sosok Zakir Abdul Karim Naik, yang biasa dipanggil Zakir Naik, melakukan pencerahan Islam yang sarat bernuansa logis, rasionalitas, ilmiah, bahkan filosofis. Pencerahan keagamaannya tidak dalam bentuk ceramah agama sebagaimana biasanya yang dilakukan oleh para ulama dan kiyai Muslim. Pertama tidak cenderung dilakukan di mesjid. Kedua, tidak cenderung dihadiri hanya oleh Muslim semata, namun justru banyak dari kalangan non Muslim, penganut agnotisisme, bahkan ateis sekalipun. Hal ini adalah suatu yang fenomenal. Nalar pemikiran Zakir Naik dapat dinyatakan merupakan bentuk gabungan antara nalar rasionalitas, nalar ilmiah, dan nalar religius. Alur-alur nalarnya dapat diukur dengan nalar filsafat, yang membentuk kontribusi jelas, baik di dunia da’i, dan dunia ilmiah. Bahwa dalam dunia ilmiah nalar Zakir Naik telah mampu menampilkan sebuah konsep integrasi ilmu, tujuan kehidupan, dan tujuan pengenalan terhadap hasil-hasil riset-riset ilmiah, yang tidak lain adalah untuk pendekatan dan pengenalan akan Allah SWT.

Abstract

This paper is motivated by a kind of academic questions, or anxieties towards; like what traditional people used to answer the phenomena that exist in the middle of their lives. The answers will certainly be a reference, even as a knowledge, perhaps not yet in the scientific category, but knowledge only. Knowledge that is created or raised is in order to answer the questions of human on natural, social and sociocultural phenomena, and so on. The author sees that one side of the presence of this knowledge is in folklore. That said, because traditional society usually answers the questions of their children and grandchildren about natural phenomena and others, presented in words such as a series of stories. Or, explain about threats and punishments and behavioral replies. Regardless of the scientific or not, as long as the words and stories are able to answer people's thirst, or explain anything at that time about certain questions, then that is the knowledge that is present in their time. For this reason, the author wants to see what knowledge is presented in the folklore, how it is characterized. This research uses philosophical, qualitative, and hermeneutical methods. The result of this research is that folklore is able to provide knowledge about ethical values. Establish knowledge, and answer certain regional histories, and natural phenomena for the provision of daily life.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pola epistemologi perubahan fikih ke etika pada masa Umar bin Khattab. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah holistika, hermeneutika dengan pendekatan kefilsafatan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa ijtihad Umar, yang secara peristiwa terkesan mengalami evolusi dari teks kepada konteks, dalam waktu yang berbeda, adalah lebih kepada mempertimbangkan etika dasar kesadaran moral Islam-nya. Jadi, tidak semata-mata selesai jika hanya dilihat dari teks dan konteks penerapan nas-nas. Melainkan juga penting dilihat kebutuhan penerapan kesadaran nilai-nilai etika. Dengan adanya ijtihad Umar, dan dari sudut paradigma lainnya, dapat dinyatakan bahwa pemikiran Umar, lebih mengedepankan relativisme etika keyakinan moral berbasis Islam. Sehingga, ada pertimbangan moral yang menghendaki putusan, yang jauh lebih baik dari putusan moral lainnya, pada waktu itu.

Abstract

Pengembangan desa menjadi isu penting 5 tahun terakhir. Desa Sungsang IV merupakan suatu desa yang didiami oleh masyarakat dari berbagi suku seperti Bugis, Melayu, dan Jawa.  Desa Sungsang ditunjuk menjadi salah satu desa wisata dengan beragam potensi alam dan budaya lokal yang dimiliki dan dapat dieksplorasi melalui potensi local wisdom yang dimiliki. Kegiatan pengabdian ini menawarkan konsep desa wisata ramah muslim melalui potensi kearifan lokal yang beragam. Kegiatan pengabdian menggunakan metode Participatory Action Research dengan kombinasi Focus Group Discussion dan wawancara terhadap informan. Waktu penyelesaian kegiatan membutuhkan waktu selama 3 bulan (September-November 2022). Hasil pengabdian menghasilkan beberapa kegiatan dan implikasi berupa pengembangan objek wisata religi makam K.H Mesir, penguatan rumah produksi Desa Sungsang IV, penulisan buku saku kamus sungsang, penulisan buku resep kuliner khas sungsang, peta transportasi objek wisata Desa Sungsang, standarisasi homestay ramah muslim.The development of villages has become a great issue in the last five years. People from various tribes, such as Bugis, Malay, and Javanese, inhabit Sungsang IV Village. All of the people are Muslim. Sungsang Village was designated as one of the tourist villages with various potentials that can be explored. This service activity offers the concept of a Muslim-friendly tourist village through the potential of various local wisdom. The Community of Service Act uses the Participatory Action Research method, combining Focus Group Discussions and interviews with the informant. Activity completion takes three months (September to November 2022). The results produce several activities and implications in the form of developing a religious tourism object of K.H Egypt's tomb, strengthening the production house of Sungsang IV Village, writing a Pocket Book of Sungsang Dictionary, writing a book of typical culinary recipes for sungsang, transportation maps for tourist attractions in Sungsang Village, standardization of muslim-friendly homestays.

Abstract

This study sought to reinforce differences, as well as to find forms or teleological principles between scientific of Islam and Islamic preaching mission. The research use integrative, descriptive and analytical approaches on the existing bibliographical sources. Thus, the authors dissect the difference and teleological principles between Islamic preaching mission and Islamic science by philosophical approach to the philosophy of science (ontology, epistemology, and axiology). The results of this study are; in principle teleological and also in general, basically Islamic sciences and mission of preaching are the same. In a general sense both together toward God that attempt to reach an understanding of God. The difference is in terms of each delivery method. Scientific, is the process of searching for an understanding of God, through the traces of nature. It reveals God through searching for meaning of nature, humans, and the environment. It is intended for people who have learning capacity. While religious preaching aims to anyone. And, preaching no need to use testing methods, instead it has a variety of delivery methods.
