Abstract

This Community Service activity was carried out because of the lack of the teachers' ability to make their own learning videos. The ability to make their own learning videos is needed in this pandemic era, because students have to do distance learning. The training is conducted using a combination of online and offline methods. Participants are given hand-on training to create, edit, and upload the created learning videos. Training using common applications and can be obtained easily. The applications used are also applications that do not require high computer resources, so they can be done with only standard devices. For example; MS Power Point, Canva, and Movie Maker.

Abstract

This research aims to design and build a Non-Fungible Token (NFT) based digital certificate management application on the Solana blockchain network. This application enables users to create, verify, and transfer certificates in the form of secure and decentralized non-fungible tokens (NFTs). Testing was conducted in two main aspects: functional and performance. The functional testing results showed a 100% success rate, indicating that all the application's main features performed as expected. In terms of performance, NFT creation took an average of 29 seconds for 0.00008 SOL, NFT verification took 1.5 seconds at no cost, and NFT transfer took 19 seconds at the same cost as creation. These results show that the application is able to perform its functions efficiently and economically on top of the Solana network. This research contributes to the utilization of blockchain technology for transparent and secure digital document management.

Abstract

The integration of technology in higher education has positioned e-learning and m-learning as primary modes of instruction. However, their effectiveness in supporting student achievement and satisfaction has rarely been compared comprehensively. This study compares e-learning and m-learning by analyzing student learning outcomes and perceptions using the Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) Matrix. The sample consisted of two classes enrolled in the same course, each using either e-learning or m-learning. Assessment scores were used to measure academic performance, while a perception questionnaire was analyzed through IPA to map the strengths and weaknesses of each platform. The results show that students in the m-learning group achieved higher academic outcomes and reported more positive perceptions, particularly in content quality, technical reliability, and ease of use. In contrast, the e-learning group demonstrated weaknesses in technical and user experience aspects. Overall, the study concludes that m-learning is more effective and satisfying, offering greater potential to support digital learning—especially for digital-native students in higher education context.

Abstract

Students must have a solid understanding of the Independent Learning-Independent Campus Policy, which was introduced by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology in 2020. Students are unwilling to participate in programmes due to a lack of knowledge and false information about it, so an information system is needed to prepare and handle these programmes. The goal of this study is to create an UX design for information system that will enable students in understanding programme policies and participating in programme activities. The technique of this study focuses on creating UX design that satisfy the policy's requirements while taking into account the needs of students. Students from Universitas Pembangunan Jaya's Department of Information Systems make up the data population. Google Sprint Design is the UX design methodology employed in this study. The six phases of the Google Sprint design process are Understand, Define, Sketch, Decide, Prototype, and Validate. The application development team uses the UX design outcomes after they have been demonstrated to be effective. It has been demonstrated in this study that design outcomes can take system stakeholders' needs into account.
