Abstract

The design of the Used Goods Center in Banjarbaru City was motivated by the increased production of waste in Banjarbaru City after the COVID-19 pandemic and the proliferation of secondhand shops selling illegally imported used goods. The problems faced are in the form of many used goods stores that provide an inadequate shopping experience so that they do not attract visitors. The design method used is the Architectural Program by managing information and then analyzing the design to produce the right design. The design concept uses a One Stop Shopping Experience which provides a complete shopping experience, starting from selling on a consignment system, buying, and trying used goods in one facility. The furniture design uses the concept of upcycling waste as a solution to reduce waste production in Banjarbaru City. The result of the design is an elongated two-story building surrounded by old window and door facades. The building area is 1875m2 facing north with two main functions, namely a used goods service center and a used goods shopping area.

Abstract

As part of the Banjarbaru City development zone, North Banjarbaru District is planned as an economic industrial area engaged in commercial activities. The development of economic support areas is a means to optimize environmentally sound areas. Connectivity between the building and the surrounding spaces will be very relevant in helping to support the overall performance of the building by optimizing the use of contextual methods in it. The result of this design gave birth to a three-story building with one separate building to give a spacious and comfortable impression, so that it is in line with the concept of Healing Space and Living Wall as a façade support system including outdoor space processing, as well as the procurement of recreational facilities based on bioclimatic architecture.

Abstract

English Course Center Banjarbaru aims to make the place a gathering center for activities to introduce or show the importance of speaking English in life for the general public, where there is a lot of potential that requires foreign language skills, especially English. Even so, Banjarbaru as an education city still does not have it, due to the lack of public interest in English. Abstract

Wasaka II is one of the dormitories owned by university of lambung mangkurat. The interest of students, especially students who have just entered the lecture study period every year, has increased interest in living in dormitories, this is due to cheap housing costs and dormitory positions that are still in the campus area. The background of designing the Wasaka II Student Dormitory is how to design a dormitory that is comfortable for its residents and fulfilled its capacity to accommodate. The concept of approaching green architecture was chosen because it can increase comfort, this is in line with the function of the dormitory as a residence that is expected to give a comfortable impression to its residents. The dormitory certainly cannot be separated from the uniformity of the existing ULM building area, for that the Geometries of Connection method was chosen; namely as a connecting building / environment that will be designed with geometric patterns in this case such as buildings or access that already exist around the site, thus allowing the design of a new "place" that is distinctive but still contextual to its environment. The dormitory design is on an area of approximately 4000m2 has a built-up land area of approximately 1100m2 with a built floor of approximately 2600m2, with a capacity of 120 members with a total of 60 rooms, as well as spaces such as kitchens, dining rooms and other areas.
