Abstract

This study aims to increase student activity and learning outcomes in Biology learning through the Problem Based Learning model with a Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) Approach in class X E SMAN 6 Madiun in the even semester of the 2022/2023 school year. Methods of data collection using Observation, Cognitive Tests, Learning Outcomes Documents. Having final performance indicators 83% (30 out of 36 students) who get the complete category, with details of pre-cycle learning outcomes get 22% (8 out of 36 students) get the complete category, cycle I assessment of learning outcomes get 58% (21 out of 36 students ) get the complete category, the second cycle of assessment of learning outcomes get 83% (30 of 36 students) get the complete category. Learning outcomes have met the KKM score and achieved performance indicators of success ≥ 83%. It can be concluded from this study that the application of the Problem Based Learning model with the Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) approach can improve student learning activities and student biology learning outcomes. Abstract

Abstract

Universitas PGRI Madiun has provided assistance to MSMEs An-Nahl Madiun Group since 2020 until now. These assistance activities include hygienic packaging of beekeeping products, online and offline marketing. The impact of this assistance has made CV. An-Nahl Group is more advanced and known in the East Java region and throughout Indonesia. There are many visitors who want to learn about beekeeping from all walks of life, whether from the general public or an agency. Based on request from CV. An Nahl Madiun Group, the research team developed a bee cultivation training curriculum for high school students, students and the general public. This research is Research and Development (R&D) research using the Borg and Gall development model developed by Sugiyono (2016). There are 10 stages of R&D, namely potential problems, data collection, product design, design validation, design revision, product trials, product revisions, use trials, final stage product revisions, and mass production. This research adopts 8 R&D steps according to Sugiyono. The development steps we take include: 1) potential and problems; 2) data collection; 3) product design; 4) design validation; 5) design revision; 6) product testing; 7) product revision; and 8) limited production. The results of data validation analysis show a curriculum validity level of 83.65% (Quite Valid), with a feasibility level of "very feasible" (84.38%). So it can be concluded that the livestock cultivation training curriculum for high school students, students and the general public on CV farms. An-Nahl Madiun Group can be used.

Abstract

Vegetation plays a vital role in water conversion, and one location that provides clean water is a spring. A spring is a location where water emerges from the ground surface. This study aims to collect data on vegetation around Gembes Spring. This type of research is quantitative, using a census research method for tree vegetation and a quadrat plot for understory vegetation. The population used in this research consists of all plants that comprise the vegetation in the spring area. The required samples are plant species found in the observation plot and those identified through direct observation of the trees. Research results have shown a very high level of diversity. The understory vegetation species that dominate the spring area are herbaceous growth forms, while the tree vegetation is dominated by the species Syzygium densiflorum. In conclusion, Zingiber spectabile. The species has the highest INP, followed by Ageratina riparia, which has the second-highest INP, and Globba marantina, with the third-highest INP among all the plant species that make up the understory vegetation.
