Abstract

Joblessness and lack of social welfare are economic problems which require the involvement of all people to overcome. The education aspect which functions to prepare educated human resource also plays important roles in reducing the level of joblessness and increase the social welfare. Islamic Boarding School Sidogiri Pasuruan as an educational institution not only provides Salaf education materials, but gives social benefits through its social entrepreneurship program.The aim of this research is to discover the social entrepreneurship applied at Islamic Boarding School Sidogiri Pasuruan. This research uses qualitative descriptive approach, by using a qualitative research of case study. Technique of data collection applied in this research is through documents, interview, participatory observation, and documentation upon the informants selected by using purposive sampling methods.The results of the research show that the application of social entrepreneurship at Islamic Boarding School Sidogiri Pasuruan can be proven by the innovation of establishment of social entrepreneurship institution, i.e. Kopontren Sidogiri (Cooperative of Islamic Boarding School Sidogiri), Pustaka Sidogiri, Buletin Sidogiri (Sidogiri Buletin), BMT Maslahah, BMT UGT Sidogiri, BPRS UMMU Sidogiri dan Koperasi Agro Sidogiri (Sidogiri Agribusiness Cooperative). They have been established based on the ideas and roles of civil society of Islamic Boarding School Sidogiri Pasuruan to maintain the economic activities, i.e. the duty of delivering Islamic values (dakwah), business, and providing social values for the society around Islamic Boarding School Sidogiri Pasuruan.

Abstract

The increasing number of visually impaired individuals facing economic challenges has prompted various organizations to seek effective solutions. This study explores the implementation of a talent management program at the Urunan Kebaikan Foundation to support the economic independence of visually impaired individuals. The problem formulation addresses the challenges faced by visually impaired individuals in achieving economic self-sufficiency and how a structured talent management program can mitigate these challenges. The research aims to assess the effectiveness of this program in enhancing the economic capabilities of the participants. A qualitative method with a case study approach was used to gather in-depth data from program participants, administrators, and related stakeholders. The research findings indicate that the talent management program has significantly improved the economic skills and opportunities for visually impaired individuals, leading to increased independence and better quality of life. The study concludes that a well-implemented talent management program can be a pivotal factor in empowering visually impaired individuals economically.

Abstract

Artikel ini menganalisis strategi efektif dalam merekrut dan mengelola karyawan Generasi Z di lingkungan manajemen bisnis global. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi kasus, penelitian ini menyoroti pentingnya adaptasi strategi perusahaan terhadap nilai-nilai, preferensi, dan teknologi yang digunakan oleh Generasi Z. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi strategi yang tepat dapat meningkatkan kinerja organisasi melalui peningkatan retensi karyawan, motivasi kerja, dan adaptasi terhadap perubahan pasar global. Implikasi praktis dari temuan ini menekankan perlunya pendekatan manajemen yang inklusif dan adaptif untuk mengoptimalkan potensi Generasi Z dalam lingkungan kerja yang dinamis. Artikel ini memberikan kontribusi penting dalam memahami cara-cara baru dalam merekrut dan mengelola tenaga kerja generasi baru yang krusial bagi keberlanjutan dan kesuksesan perusahaan di era bisnis global saat ini.
