Abstract

Asphalt mixture Latasir called HRSS (Hot Rolled Sand Sheet). Proper aggregate gradation, asphalt latasir distinct class A and class B. A known class Latasir HRSS-A with a nominal minimumthickness of 1.5 cm. As a class known as HRSS Latasir B-B with a nominal minimum thickness of2 cm. Latasir intended for asphalt road with light traffic, especially in areas where coarse aggregateis not available. The use of “rubber tire waste” as asphalt additives latasir is expected to reduce theuse of asphalt and benefits, including increases due to the braking surface traction and reduces tirenoise due to friction with the floor surface. The addition of “waste tire rubber” mixing the asphaltmade with a variety B latasir rubber content of 1%, 2%, 3%, 4% and 5% of the bitumen content. Itis known that a mixture of asphalt latasir B with the addition of “waste rubber tire ‘can improve thequality of Marshal. In the rubber content optimum for the ratio of 0312% rubber content andasphalt content of 7.89%, resulting in a mixture characteristics: Marshall Stability 950 kg, MarshallQuotient 4.1 kN/mm, Air Voids 3.5 % dan film thickness 8 μm.Key word : Asphalt mixture Latasir B, and waste rubber tires, Marshall test

Abstract

Setting the left turn movement at the intersection of four or three signalized intersections, and the straight movements at three signalized intersections. In any where, there are not provide significant for signalized intersection performance. Changes related legislation does not necessarily contribute positively to the traffic operation. Determination of the application of left turn on red  (LTOR) or straight on red (STOR) at an intersection must be preceded by a study, so that the positive affect or negative affect that happened can be known early. The background of this study was motivated the existing conditions arrangement, turn left movements (for intersection of four or three signalized intersections) and straight movements (for three signalized intersections) at some intersection in Malang Raya. In addition, this study was conducted in order to know the effect of setting the movement of vehicles turning left or straight at the intersection. The expected benefits of this study is, that every movement settings, turn left at the intersection of four or three signalized intersections, and also straight movements at three signalized intersections have to go through the review process. Conclusion, shows that the movement of vehicles turning left directly on the intersection of four or three signalized intersections, and the movement of vehicles at the intersection of three straight directly affect the performance of signalized intersections.Key words: signalized intersection, turn left movement, straight movement, the performance of a signalized intersection.

Abstract

The population of Landungsari Village is very large, exceeding 9,000 people. With such a substantial population, the need for clean water and sanitation is also considerable. However, the potential sources of raw water for clean water reserves are very limited, especially surface water. The groundwater level at the study site is also quite deep, particularly in the southern parts of Landungsari Village. Rambakan and Bendungan hamlets have groundwater levels ranging from 15 to 25 meters deep. In contrast, Klandungan hamlet averages over 25 meters, and in the vicinity of Thursina Boarding School, it is more than 40 meters deep, making shallow wells impractical. Meanwhile, the clean water supplied by the PDAM is very limited. To address the issue of clean water availability, an investigation through groundwater estimation is necessary to ensure that the selected locations for deep well exploration are not in vain. The results of groundwater estimation must be representative and provide strong scientific justification for the accuracy of the findings. The method used in this investigation is the geoelectric resistivity method using ADMT-300H, which operates based on Darcy's law. It emits electromagnetic waves and measures soil resistivity to identify aquifer layers and determine the depth and thickness of the aquifer. The results obtained with ADMT-300H include: optimal discharge at well 1 (WL-1) of 3.07 l/s and well 2 (WL-2) of 3.14 l/s. Optimal discharge represents the sustainable limit for utilizing groundwater flow.

Abstract

Asrikaton street, Pakis, Malang Regency is one of the roads with moderate population density and moderate traffic flow conditions. This road is classified as a secondary arterial road and is a border road with Malang City. This road has a length of 1,200 m and a pavement width of 9 meters, with a road type of two undivided lanes (2/2 UD). This study aims to observe and assess the phenomenon of the relevance between the degree of saturation and various types of light vehicle speeds of a road. The traffic volume is 6436 vehicles/hour with a low side obstacle classification, and the degree of saturation shows that the road conditions are still relatively smooth. The maximum traffic flow volume of 2039.95 smp/h occurred at 06:45-07:45 WIB. with a low side obstacle class (equivalent value 198.7), resulting in a degree of saturation of 0.66. The most significant relevance between degree of saturation and vehicle movement speed is journey speed with the equation y = -1196.9x3 + 2008.6x2 - 1095.1x + 234.37, the coefficient of determination of 0.8867.
