Abstract

Discrepancy of income between regions in South Sumatera province which tend to increase indicating high inequality. This study aims to analyze income convergence year 2006-2012 with sigma convergence and beta conditional convergence. The result with FD GMM show the existence income convergence and require 22 years to decrease half inequality by involving human capital and physic capital, that show slow process the convergence. Long road with small contribution to GDP per capita, causing slow income convergence. Hence, human capital and physic capital that existing especially long road should be optimized to accelerate income convergence between regions in South Sumatra province.

Abstract

Tingkat Pengangguran Terbuka (TPT) di Provinsi Kepulauan Riau berada pada posisi tertinggi kedua nasional tahun 2022 yaitu sebesar 8,23 persen setelah Jawa Barat. Sebagai provinsi dengan daerah kepulauan, tentunya efek geografis berpengaruh terhadap keadaan ketenagakerjaan di Provinsi Kepulauan Riau. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap TPT pada kabupaten/kota di Provinsi Kepulauan Riau. Model Geographically Weighted Panel Regression (GWPR) digunakan untuk mengakomodasi pengaruh efek geografis atau spasial tersebut. Model yang dihasilkan sudah baik dengan koefisen determinasi sebesar 77,957 persen. Determinan TPT berbeda-beda untuk masing-masing wilayah kabupaten/kota. Determinan yang mempengaruhi TPT di Kabupaten Bintan, Kota Tanjungpinang, dan Kabupaten Lingga adalah pertumbuhan ekonomi. TPT Kota Batam dipengaruhi oleh variabel distribusi penduduk dan Upah Minimum Regional (UMR). Di Kepulauan Anambas, distribusi penduduk dan persentase penduduk miskin berpengaruh signifikan terhadap TPT. Di Kabupaten Karimun, variabel distribusi penduduk, Harapan Lama Sekolah (HLS), UMR, dan pertumbuhan ekonomi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap tingkat pengangguran.  Sementara distribusi penduduk, HLS, UMR dan persentase penduduk miskin berpengaruh signifikan terhadap TPT di Kabupaten Natuna. Oleh karena itu, Pemerintah Provinsi Kepulauan Riau perlu memperhatikan fokus pembangunan yang berbeda-beda di masing-masing kabupaten/kota dalam upaya menurunkan TPT.

Abstract

The village is a strategic position to support the success of community development programs. Developing and increasing literacy in rural areas faces quite a few challenges. The low level of public education, limited access to reading materials and the lack of educational facilities and infrastructure are often the main obstacles. This community partnership empowerment scheme focuses on the role and function of statistical agents in assisting in the creation of population statistics infographic designs and village potential graphic designs using the Canva application which is guided directly by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province. This aims at the process of implementing data digitization, especially population statistics data through infographic design. 10 out of 11 statistical agents who took part in training in making infographic designs and filled out pre-test and post-test questionnaires, the results showed that there were differences in understanding of the Canva application before and after the training. Before the training, 90% of participants knew about the Canva application and the rest did not know about the Canva application. After attending the training, my understanding of the Canva application increased. This is proven by 100% of participants answering correctly regarding the scope, function and benefits of Canva in creating graphic designs, posters and presentations. At the end of the service activities, assistance to the Rebo Village library in the form of grants for children's reading books, educational posters, bookcases and reading chairs was also provided to improve the reading culture as part of efforts to increase literacy in the Rebo Village community.
