Abstract

This best practice aims to convey the author's experience in using the STM approach in science learning to improve the character of environmental care in grade 6 students of SD Negeri 1 Miricinde. Strengthening character education caring for the environment in students needs to be developed from an early age, because now we are in the era of revolution 4.0. This digital era makes students increasingly indifferent to their environment. This also happened to 29 grade 6 students of SDN 1 Miricinde. Students are still wasting on the use of electrical energy, students still do not care about closing open faucets even though the tub is fully charged, advice and appeals from principals and teachers are not heeded by students. Students do not yet understand the importance of caring for the environment. The instruments used are observation sheets of students' environmental care attitudes, observation sheets of teacher activities in applying the STM approach, observation sheets of teachers' roles in instilling environmental care attitudes, and questionnaires of students' environmental care attitudes. The validity of the instrument uses expert judgment, namely the principal. Based on the overall results of observations and analysis of existing data, it can be concluded that the STM approach in science learning can improve the character of environmental care in grade 6 students of SD Negeri 1 Miricinde. Student learning outcomes have also improved. In addition to improving the character of caring for the environment, the STM approach in science learning can also increase the character of nationalism in students. The impact of implementing the STM approach for schools is that there is a decrease in electricity bills in schools.

Abstract

The article discusses childbirth in the Quran, focusing on Surah Maryam: 22-26. It explains that when Maryam felt the pain of childbirth, she leaned on a date palm tree and ate the dates that fell. These actions have similarities with medical practices, where leaning position is beneficial for the mother during childbirth, and eating dates can replenish energy lost during childbirth. The study in the article employs a qualitative method of comparative study with a literature review approach. Data sources include Tafsir Kemenag (Ministry of Religious Affairs' Interpretation) and obstetrics books. Data collection techniques involve searching, while content analysis is used for analysis.

Abstract

Critical thinking skills are skills that are needed in the face of rapid technological development. The level of critical thinking skills in mathematics learning needs to be researched to analyze the extent to which the culture of critical thinking skills has been carried out. This study aims to describe the level of critical thinking skills of 5th graders in mathematics learning. The type of research used is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The subjects of this study were grade 5 students at SD Negeri 1 Miricinde, as many as 15 students. This study uses a written test in the form of a description question. The data obtained are then analyzed by correcting students' answers. Critical thinking skill instruments contain aspects of critical thinking skills developed by including aspects: providing explanations simply, determining the basis of decision making, concluding, providing further explanations, estimating and combining. The results of the data analysis obtained, 26.7% of students have low critical thinking skills, 46.7% of students have sufficient critical thinking skills, 20% of students have high critical thinking skills, and 6.7% of students have very high critical thinking skills. So it can be concluded that the 5th grade students of Miricinde State Elementary School 1 have a sufficient level of category critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas dari pendekatan transpersonal terhadap gejala FoMO pada remaja milenial di Samarinda. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif eksperimen, desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah Pretest-Posttest Only Group Design. Jumlah sampel penelitian adalah 7 orang remaja yang terindikasi gejala FoMo. Alat pengumpul data pada penelitian ini menggunkan skala Fear of Miss-ing Out yang dibuat oleh Przybylski pada tahun 2013. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah analisis statistik uji t-test dengan menggunakan bantuan program komputer SPSS (Statistical Packages for Social Science) versi 21.0 for windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada penurunan tingkat FoMo pada subjek setelah diberikan pelatihan pendekatan transpersonal dengan terlihat bahwa t hitung yang didapatkan adalah 3.555 dengan p = 0.012 (p < 0,05). Hal tersebut menunjukkan pelatihan yang diberikan dapat menurunkan rasa kecemasan pada subjeki. Pelatihan pendekatan trasnpersonal berhasil dilaksanakan dalam menurunkan tingkat FoMo subjek, dan diharapkan dapat mencegah dampak buruk lainnya yang merupakan domino effect dari gejala fear of missing out. Pendekatan Transpersonal diharapkan dapat membawa suatu kesadaran dan perubahan nilai-nilai spiritual remaja menjadi lebih baik.

Abstract

Abstract [Tantawi Jauhari's Interpretation of Earthquakes Verses] This article discusses the moving earth which often causes earthquakes. Earthquakes are generally caused by the movement of the earth's plates, volcanic eruptions, natural events and non-natural factors. In the Qur'an there are names of earthquakes including zalzalah, dakk, rajj, and Rajfah. So the author feels the need to explore the interpretation related to earthquakes by one of the science commentators, namely Tantawi Jauhari. This article uses a qualitative method with a library research approach. The data collection technique uses search techniques. This article finds that the verses of the Qur'an are facts that support scientific theories that are currently developing. And the finding of conformity of the explanation of the Qur'an with terms related to earthquakes. This article aims to add insight into knowledge related to earthquakes in the Qur'an and interpretations about it. Keywords Earthquake — Interpretation— Tantawi Jauhari ملخص [تفسير طنطاوي الجوهري لآيات الزلازل] يناقش هذا المقال حركة الأرض التي تسبب الزلازل غالبًا. تحدث الزلازل بشكل عام بسبب حركة صفائح الأرض والانفجارات البركانية والأحداث الطبيعية والعوامل غير الطبيعية. ورد في القرآن أسماء الزلازل بما في ذلك منها الزلزلة، الودق، الرج ، والرجفة. لذلك يشعر المؤلف بضرورة استكشاف تفسير الزلازل من قبل أحد المفسرين العلميين وهو طنطاوي الجوهري. تستخدم هذه المقالة طريقة نوعية مع نهج بحث المكتبة. تستخدم تقنية جمع البيانات تقنيات البحث. تجد هذه المقالة أن آيات القرآن هي حقائق تدعم النظريات العلمية التي يتم تطويرها حاليًا. وإيجاد تطابق تفسير القرآن مع المصطلحات المتعلقة بالزلازل. تهدف هذه المقالة إلى إضافة نظرة ثاقبة إلى المعرفة المتعلقة بالزلازل في القرآن والتفسيرات المتعلقة بها. الكلمات المفتاحية الزِلزال – التفسير – طنطاوي جوهري Abstrak [Penafsiran Tantawi Jauhari tentang Ayat-ayat Gempa bumi] Artikel ini membahas mengenai bumi yang bergerak yang sering menimbulkan gempa bumi. Gempa bumi pada umumnya disebabkan oleh pergesaran lempeng bumi, letusan gunung berapi, kejadian alam dan faktor non alam. Dalam Al-Qur’an terdapat nama-nama gempa di antaranya zalzalah, dakk, rajj, dan rajfah. Sehingga penulis merasa perlu mendalami penafsiran terkait gempa bumi oleh salah satu mufassir sains yaitu Tantawi Jauhari. Artikel ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan kajian pustaka (library research). Adapun teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik penelusuran. Artikel ini menemukan bahwa ayat-ayat Al-Qur’an menjadi fakta pendukung teori sains yang berkembang saat ini. Dan ditemukannya kesesuaian penjelasan Al-Qur’an dengan istilah-istilah terkait gempa. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menambah wawasan pengetahuan terkait gempa bumi dalam Al-Qur’an serta penafsiran mengenai hal tersebut.

Abstract

Fazlur Rahman is a man who has various thoughts related to the issue of the Qur'an and Hadith, Rahman's presence in the list of names of Islamic thinkers brings something new to the renewal of Islam. Appear as a brilliant figure in formulating the method of interpretation of the Koran. Fazlur Rahman provides a more convincing method of interpretation, which lies in the use of philosophy, social sciences and humanities. The conceptual framework that Rahman built is often called the double movement hermeneutics. This is because in the process it involves a double movement, namely from the problem of the present situation to the time the Koran was revealed and from the time of the Koran back to the present problem. In this method the emphasis is on the basic ideas of the Koran or its moral ideals compared to the specific legal. Another term in the meaning that Fazlur Rahman puts forward the content of the universal meaning rather than the literal-particular meaning. The method formulated by Rahman finally not only contributed to the development of the Qur'anic interpretation method, but also influenced the ijtihad process in the context of answering the social-religious problems of the present era.
