Abstract

Kemajuan dan kecanggihan teknologi media semakin tak terelakkan. Masuknya era digitalisasi pun merupakan keniscayaan. Sistem digital secara perlahan tapi pasti akan memasuki ranah penyiaran Indonesia, menggantikan sistem analog yang selama ini dipakai. Sistem digital yang konon memberikan lahan yang lebih luas bagi industri media, diharapkan dapat memacu adanya diversity of content dan diversity of ownership, yang selama ini tak jua terwujud dengan sistem analog. Namun semakin canggihnya teknologi rupanya tak selaras dengan keterbukaan akses informasi terlebih bagi para penyandang disabilitas. Tulisan ini akan mengupas bagaimana sebenarnya implikasi perkembangan teknologi terhadap akses informasi yang ada dan bagaimana akses informasi para difabel di tengah era digitalisasi. Karena kemajuan teknologi yang ada seharusnya justru memudahkan akses informasi terhadap semua warga, tak membeda-bedakan ras, status ekonomi, juga fisik seseorang bukan memperlebar jurang kesenjangan akses informasi.Kata Kunci: informasi, digitalisasi, difabel

Abstract

Abstract: The Ahmadiyah confl icts in Indonesia often ended up tragically. However, in Tasikmalaya, some confl icts could be immediately diminished. This research tries to fi nd communication effort conducted by FKUB of Tasikmalaya district in diminishing Ahmadiyah confl ict during 2012-2014. Using qualitative descriptive research with in-depth interview and observation as the methods, this research reveals that FKUB’s communication efforts include listening the aspirations fromboth parties, conducting survey, and research to approach Jemaat Ahmadiyah Indonesia (JAI) and concluding that confl ict could be diminished through economic empowerment.Abstrak: Konfl ik Ahmadiyah yang terjadi di beberapa daerah di Indonesia umumnya berakhir tragis. Namun, di Tasikmalaya konfl ik dapat segera diredam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui upaya komunikasi yang dilakukan FKUB Kabupaten Tasikmalaya dalam meredam konfl ik Ahmadiyah yang terjadi pada kurun waktu 2012-2014. Peneliti menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode pengumpulan data wawancara mendalam dan observasi langsung saat terjadi konfl ik. Melalui penelitian ini terlihat bahwa upaya komunikasi FKUB dimulai dengan mendengarkan aspirasi kedua belah pihak, melakukan survei dan riset sebagai pendekatan kepada pihak Jemaat Ahmadiyah Indonesia (JAI), dan pemberdayaan di bidang ekonomi.

Abstract

Kyai-santri in a system called pesantren, has a unique relationship which is formed from the process of continuous interaction in teaching-learning process and in daily life. In this relation, kyai and santri generally keep using interpersonal communication as the main choice in interaction. This paper aims to explore the interpersonal communication between kyai and santri in modern pesantren in Tasikmalaya by using Watzlawick's interactional view approach. The method used is qualitative descriptive with data retrieval technique namely literature study, observation and interview. The research found that, kyai and santri cannot not do communication: both verbal and non verbal; both kyai and santri not only communicate the content but also have a unique way of building relationships; message delivery type is symmetrical with dominated by kyai; and there are many unwritten communication rules of santri-kyai showing the santri's respect for their kyai.Keyword      :Kyai, Santri, pesantren, interpersonal communication, interactional view

Abstract

The rise of internet users directly influences the usage of e-commerce platform in Indonesia. This growth also influences the competition between brands whom utilize e- commerce platform, hence companies need to address digital marketing communication as primary tools to compete in consumer market. As one of the most well-known shoes brand in Indonesia, Amazara fully realizes the potential of digital marketing sector and trying to implement digital marketing communication as one of its primary marketing strategy. This research examines the chosen communication strategy of Amazara in digital and internet platform. Primary data was taken from in-depth interview with owner and employees. Collected data was classified into categories and processed through data implementation to understand the depth knowledge about this specific case. Interpretation results were compared with theoretical context from literature studies, and formulated to reach primary conclusion. The results of the study indicate that the company has carried out planning and evaluation to develop digital marketing. The company has also developed an AIDA-based digital marketing strategy

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the e-CRM strategies employed by BPJS to sustain customer loyalty. A qualitative descriptive method is utilized in this study. Data gathered through interviews and observations conducted at the BPJS. The research framework is informed by Francis Buttle's Customer Relationship Management theory, which has been adapted to the context of electronic technology in CRM implementation. The findings indicate that BPJS's e-CRM strategy can be categorized into three levels: strategic, operational, and analytical. At the strategic level, BPJS implements a high-level cultural calendar and provides digital service channels that enhance convenience, speed, and reliability in service delivery. At the operational level, BPJS automates various marketing, sales, and service processes. Finally, at the analytical level, BPJS conducts customer journey mapping, which encompasses the components of I-Cari, I-Belajar, and I-Daftar.

Abstract

Media relations play a crucial role in the public relations activities of universities, as they provide opportunities for increased media exposure. In today's journalism landscape, social media has become a prominent source of news for journalists. This includes official university accounts, which serve as valuable sources of information for journalists. Consequently, university public relations must understand the perspective of journalists when selecting and disseminating information through social media platforms. This article aims to explore how journalists utilize information from university social media accounts, specifically Instagram, as news sources. The concept of information subsidies is used to analyze the public relations activities involved in providing journalists with access to information and ensuring its quality. The research adopts a qualitative approach, utilizing interviews with journalists from the education sections of kompas.com and detik.com. The findings of this research highlight despite the prevalence of visual content, limited text, and informal language often used by university Instagram users, journalists still find value in quoting from Instagram. This suggests that the information available on social media platforms is sufficient to fulfill journalists' informational needs. Journalists also rely on university Instagram accounts as a source of news. The significance of higher education institutions acknowledging social media as a platform for distributing information to journalists. The prevalent topics covered in news articles include advice, contemporary matters, and education sector-related information. The majority of cited news items are derived from expert opinions or contributions from university lecturers. It is crucial to establish efficient strategies for social media management in order to accentuate various themes or content that showcase the expertise of university staff.
