Abstract

The research entitled “The Creative work of Children’s Songs”. Raising the problem in this research is how to create children’s songs for elementary school level? This study aims to describe the process of creating songs for children at the elementary school level. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach with a descriptive type of research. The subjects in this study were elementary school children at the high level, namely grades are IV-VI. While the object to be studied was a song entitled Ayah Bunda which was created by the researcher. The data in this studi were collected using literature study, observation, and documentary. From the results of the study, it showed that elementary school children in high grade were able to sing a song created by researcher entitled Ayah Bunda with a range of tones that were appropriate for their age. The lyris of the song were created according to the age of the children, which is about the happiness of children when they are loved and pampered by their parents. As a feeling of gratitude and gratitude, children should always pray for their parents so that they live long and always be healthy. Abstrak Penelitian yang berjudul “Hasil Karya Cipta Lagu Anak-Anak”. Mengangkat masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana hasil karya cipta lagu anak-anak untuk tingkat sekolah dasar?. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses penciptaan lagu untuk usia anak-anak pada tingkat sekolah dasar. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu anak-anak sekolah dasar pada tingkat kelas tinggi yaitu kelas IV-VI), sedangkan Objek yang akan diteliti yaitu lagu yang berjudul Ayah Bunda hasil ciptaan peneliti. Data pada penelitian ini dikumpulkan dengan teknik studi pustaka, observasi dan dokumentasi. Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwasanya, anak-anak sekolah dasar kelas tinggi mampu menyanyikan lagu hasil ciptaan peneliti yang berjudul Ayah Bunda dengan jangkauan nada yang sesuai dengan usia mereka. Lirik lagu yang diciptakan sesuai dengan usia anak-anak yaitu berisi tentang kebahagian anak-anak saat disayang dan dimanjakan oleh kedua orang tuanya. Sebagai rasa bersyukur dan terimakasih, anak-anak sudah sepatutnya selalu mendoakan ayah bundanya agar panjang umur dan sehat selalu.

Abstract

Seni rapa’i geleng merupakan kesenian tradisional yang berasal dari provinsi Aceh dan ditarikan oleh 12 orang penari serta satu ceh (pemimpin) yang bertugas melantunkan syair. Setiap kesenian tradisional memiliki pesan-pesan tertentu yang ingin disampaikan pada para penikmatnya, begitu pula dengan seni rapa’i geleng. Penikmat seni harus memahami makna yang terkandung dalam syair. Sehingga hal ini menjadi hal yang dipandang perlu untuk mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai Islam dalam kesenian rapa’i geleng. Bentuk penyajian syair terbagi atas 4 (empat) babak, yaitu seulaweut (shalawat), saleum (salam), kisah, dan lanie (penutup). Setiap babak memiliki nilai pengajaran akhlak mahmudah (akhlak tepuji) diantaranya (1) akhlak yang berhubungan dengan Allah memiliki bentuk akhlak taqwa dan dzikrullah , (2) akhlak yang berhubungan dengan diri sendiri memiliki bentuk akhlak amanah dan menuntut ilmu, dan (3) akhlak yang berhubungan dengan masyarakat memiliki bentuk akhlak saling hormat menghormati.

Abstract

One of the achievements in the subject of concepts, techniques, and the reconstruction of art tools and equipment in the Dance and Music Drama Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Syiah Kuala University, was to reconstruct one of the musical instruments. In this study, one of the musical instruments that will be reconstructed is the traditional musical instrument of the people of Aceh, especially Central Aceh, which is called the Rebeb Gayo musical instrument. One of the reasons for reconstructing the Gayo Rebeb musical instrument is because this musical instrument has long been extinct. So that through the reconstruction of the musical instrument, the Rebeb Gayo musical instrument can be returned which has long been extinct. So this can be an effort to preserve extinct musical instruments. This research method is an experiment, by looking at the results of experiments on making Rebeb Gayo musical instruments starting from the preparation of tools and materials, manufacturing methods, tone systems and techniques for playing Rebeb Gayo musical instruments. The results of the research produced the Rebeb Gayo musical instrument and it can be played well.

Abstract

Problems of learning often happen, especially when implementing it in class. The problem in spesific is lack of learning time for practical material in arts and culture-based subjects. This makes the skills that students have cannot be identified and perceived well by the teachers. Students are required to be able to understand theoretical material and practice their abilities as psychomotor values ​​within 3 hours of lessons. The amount of time was too short to sharpen their skills. So video media-based group vocals are a solution that is able to overcome obstacles that occur in the learning process during the co-19 pandemic. This research was conducted using the experimental method type One – Shoot Case Study) in class IX SMP, the test results were analyzed by the t-test and the percentage illustrated in the form of a pie chart. The process of compiling these learning media is able to help students understand the material provided, re-study the material while at home, and sharpen their skills with their colleagues. The material was prepared by involving the local cultures of Aceh for students of Javanese, Batak and Chinese ethnicity via online, it proves that students are more creative and innovative, not only able to sing in a vocal group but also dance and performing theater talents in one group task as well, so that the covid-19 pandemic 19 does not hinder students’ learning process.

Abstract

Meususon ranup (the activity of stringing betel leaves) is a tradition that exists in the Aceh region as a preparation for the handing over of the bride and groom. Meanwhile, the assembled betel leaves are called ranup meuson in the Acehnese language. Ranup (betel leaf) is a symbol of glory for the people of Aceh to glorify guests (peumulia jamee). In Acehnese wedding customs, ranup meususon is an important delivery for the bride and groom as a symbol of glory and a means of communication for the two families of the bride and groom. Betel stringing activities are generally carried out by parents in villages, while the younger generation is almost not involved in these activities. It is feared that there will be no heirs in making ranup meuson so that it can result in the loss of national identity. The solution offered to the problems that occur is to provide meususon ranup (betel nut) training to the millennial generation. The purpose of this service is to preserve Aceh's customs and culture for the millennial generation as cultural heirs. The implementation method in this service uses 2 (two) stages, namely deepening the material and practice in groups. The results of the dedication which was attended by 18 students can be seen from the enthusiasm and seriousness of the participants in the training activities and the success of arranging betel leaves in the form of a Teuku Umar kupiah neatly and proportionally.

Abstract

Pendidikan karakter di sekolah bertujuan penguatan nilai-nilai moral untuk mengembangkan potensi, membentuk kebiasaan terpuji, menanamkan jiwa kepemimpinan, tanggung jawab, mandiri, kreatif, berwawasan kebangsaan, jujur, kreatif dan persahabatan. Penguatan nilai-nilai karakter ini memerlukan proses kontinyu dan konsisten yang dapat diintegrasikan dalam program intrakurikuler maupun ekstrakurikuler. Penelitian untuk mengkaji internalisasi penguatan karakter siswa berbasis nilai-nilai kearifan lokal pada kegiatan ekstrakurikuler seni tari tradisional di SMPN 6 dan SMPN 4 Banda Aceh. Penelitian menggunakan metode tindakan yang berdaur ulang/siklus, meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Data penelitian merupakan data proses dalam internalisasi nilai-nilai kearifan lokal sebagai upaya penguatan karakter siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data: observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Validitas data menggunakan triangulasi serta proses analisis data yaitu reduksi data, sajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan proses internalisasi yang dilakukan dalam program ekstrakurikuler tari tradisional rapai geleng dan ratoeh jaroe mengandung penguatan karakter meliputi: Religius, Toleransi, Disiplin, Cinta Tanah Air, Bersahabat/komunikatif, dan Tanggung jawab. Hasil internalisasi nilai-nilai kearifan lokal terhadap penguatan karakter pada siklus 3 memperoleh hasil yang signifikan: 1) karakter Religius 93% sangat baik (SB) dan 7% baik (B), 2) Toleransi 76% (SB) dan 24% (B), 3) Disiplin 76% (SB) dan 24% (B), 4) Cinta tanah air 86% (SB) dan 14% (B), 5) Bersahabat/komunikatif 87% (SB), 13% (B), 6)Tanggung jawab 93% (SB) dan 7% (B).
