Abstract

Supplier performance evaluation is one of the important factors in the supply chain because it is one of the company's strategies for increasing customer satisfaction and also maintaining the company's services in meeting consumer demand. This study proposes the integration of the Analytic Network Process (ANP) and the Preference Ranking Organization Method for Enrichment Evaluation (PROMETHEE) to evaluate supplier performance. The integration of the two methods is proposed to obtain more complex assessment results because the combination of the two methods considers various criteria derived from ANP and various preferences from PROMETHEE, so both methods are very good to use instead of using just ANP or PROMETHEE or other methods. ANP exhibit more complex relationships between criteria and levels in the decision hierarchy, while PROMETHEE provides decision-makers with flexible and straightforward outranking to analyze multi-criteria problems. In this study, ANP is used to weight the criteria, and PROMETHEE is used to rank suppliers in evaluating supplier performance. Integrating these two methods provides more objective and accurate results in multi-criteria decision-making. The proposed method is validated by solving an industrial case of supplier evaluation problem using the real data from the skewer industry. Finally, some useful implications for managerial decision-making are discussed.

Abstract

Kesehatan dan Keselamatan kerja merupakan faktor penting yang perlu diperhatikan oleh perusahaan. Penerapannya dipengaruhi oleh keandalan manusia didalamnya. Penelitian ini membahas analisis kecelakaan kerja akibat human error pada PT. X yang bergerak di bidang manufaktur alat transportasi. Kecelakaan kerja yang terjadi diantaranya: tergores gram, terluka bakar, dan terjepit mesin press. Hal tersebut disebabkan pengabaian prosedur dan penggunaan APD oleh operator. Metode yang digunakan adalah Standardized Plant Analysis Risk Human Realibility Assessment (SPAR-H) dan Human Error Assessment and Reduction Technique (HEART). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai HEP terbesar pada metode SPAR-H yakni 0,5558 pada unit steel work, 0,1668 pada unit minor assembly, 0,1668 pada unit sub assembly, 0,1668 pada unit carbody assembly, dan 0,5558 pada unit tempering. Sedangkan pada metode HEART, nilai HEP terbesar yakni 0,6164 pada unit steel work, 0,2153 pada unit minor assembly, 0,2153 pada unit sub assembly, 0,2153 pada unit carbody assembly, dan 0,4285 pada unit tempering. Berdasarkan penilaian tersebut diberikan beberapa usulan perbaikan berupa: pelatihan penggunaan mesin dan alat bantu dengan benar, serta penekanan penggunaan APD.

Abstract

Indonesia is currently entering a new normal era; this requires people to adapt to the clean-living habit in accordance with health standards in order to carry out normal activities. At the same time, online transportation services have reopened for activity. The service quality provided by online ride-hailing companies (i.e., ojek) such as Gojek, Grab, and Maxim must now consider matters relating to user safety. This study proposes Multi Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) as a method for assessing the service quality of online transportation service providers and uses the Pandemic-SERVQUAL 4.0 model. Pandemi-SERVQUAL 4.0 model adds two new criteria, namely "pandemic" and "industry 4.0". The addition of two new criteria that are more relevant to the current circumstances will increase the accuracy of the research. This study aims to propose the integration of Interval Valued Intuitionistic Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process (IVIF-AHP) to determine the criteria weight and Interval Valued Intuitionistic Fuzzy Weighted Aggregated Sum-Product Assessment (IVIF-WASPAS) to assess the service quality of several online transportation service providers based on the obtained criteria weights. From the results of the service quality assessment using the integration of IVIF-AHP and IVIF-WASPAS, the ranking of online transportation service providers during the new normal era were Grab-car, Go-car, and Maxim-car.

Abstract

PT XYZ operates as a paint manufacturing company, producing two types of products, namely wall paint and pool paint, based on distinct raw materials. Within the production process, the role of the farfly mixer machine holds significant importance, as it facilitates the crucial mixing and dispersion processes involved in paint manufacturing. Unfortunately, operational usage of the farfly mixer machines often leads to malfunctions, resulting in disruptive downtimes and potential financial losses for the company. Consequently, an enhancement of the machine maintenance planning is imperative, utilizing the risk-based maintenance methodology to ascertain risk estimations associated with machine failures, conduct risk evaluations, and devise appropriate maintenance plans. The assessment of risk estimations yields a significant risk value amounting to IDR 10,459,765 per month. The evaluation results reveal that the calculated risk value surpasses the acceptance criteria, specifically denoting 0.73% compared to the expected threshold of 0.60%. Consequently, based on this risk evaluation outcome, it becomes evident that maintenance planning is warranted, necessitating the formulation of a proposed maintenance plan. The proposed plan focuses on optimising component replacement intervals, primarily targeting components with a reliability value lower than 80%.

Abstract

This study discusses the integration of Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process (FAHP) method in the selection of Risk Based Maintenance (RBM) policy for DH2100 Machine at PT Fajar Putra Plasindo. The objective of this research is to enhance the effectiveness of maintenance strategies and optimize decision-making in RBM policy selection. The FAHP method is employed to address the uncertainties and complexities in maintenance decision-making. The results showed that a risk value of Rp. 83,365,100 was obtained or with a risk percentage of 0.1%. the percentage of the risk exceeds the established tolerance limit. So then the selection of maintenance actions is carried out using the FAHP, from the calculation results it is found that Condition Based Maintenance maintenance actions are the right maintenance actions for the DH2100 Machine.

Abstract

Intisari— PT Varia Usaha Beton bergerak dalam bidang pengadaan beton dan bangunan mengalami kerusakan pada salah satu mesin Batching Plant yang mengakibatkan terjadinya pembengkakan biaya. Mengatasi hal tersebut, diperlukan adanya perawatan preventive yang dilakukan sebatas pemeriksaan, penggantian, dan pengelompokan komponen mesin menurut proses perbaikan dan fungsinya dengan menerapkan modularity design sebagai metodenya. Tujuannya penelitian ini yaitu menentukan perawatan interval preventif dengan melakukan pengelompokan komponen kedalam modul untuk menghasilkan total biaya perawatan yang lebih minimum. Hasil penelitian ini didapatkan total biaya per tahun dengan metode modularity design per tahunnya adalah sebesar Rp 167.584.757,6 ,- sedangkan dengan metode perusahaan yang memiliki nilai sebesar Rp 220.869.687,- per tahun. Dimana biaya yang dikeluarkan oleh metode modularity design lebih kecil dibandingkan dengan total biaya perawatan pada perusahaan setiap tahunnya dengan nilai efisiensi sebesar 24,12%. Abstract— PT Varia Usaha Beton is engaged in the procurement of concrete and buildings experienced damage to one of the Batching Plant machines which resulted in cost overruns. To overcome this, preventive maintenance is needed which is limited to inspection, replacement, and grouping of machine components according to the repair process and function by applying modularity design as the method. The purpose of this study is to determine preventive maintenance intervals by grouping components into modules to produce a minimum total maintenance cost. The results of this study obtained that the total cost per year with the modularity design method per year is Rp. 167,584,757.6, - while the company method has a value of Rp. 220,869,687, - per year. Where the costs incurred by the modularity design method are smaller than the total maintenance costs at the company each year with an efficiency value of 24.12%.

Abstract

PT. X adalah bagian dari Kappa Group, sebuah bisnis terintegrasi dalam industri rumput laut Indonesia. Salah satu masalah dalam produksi di PT. X adalah mesin hammer milling sering mengalami downtime sehingga menurunkan efektivitas mesin tersebut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengukur efektivitas dan memberikan usulan untuk meningkatkan efektivitas mesin hammer milling. Langkah-langkah penelitian terdiri dari pengukuran efek­­­tivitas mesin dengan metode Overall Resource Effectiveness (ORE), identifikasi faktor penyebab rendahnya efektivitas mesin dengan fishbone diagram, perhitungan tingkat kekritisan mode kegagalan dengan Failure Mode Effect and Critical Analysis (FMECA), dan pemberian usulan peningkatan efektivitas mesin berdasarkan critical analysis. Hasil pengolahan data didapatkan nilai ORE sebesar 55,95% yang menunjukkan efektivitas mesin hammer milling cukup baik dan terdapat beberapa indikasi yang perlu dilakukan perbaikan. Usulan peningkatan efektivitas mesin yang direkomen­dasikan adalah penentuan tingkat persediaan suku cadang original dengan menggunakan metode continuous review, preventive maintenance berdasarkan jadwal perawatan yang ditetap­kan, dan implementasi autonomous maintenance.

Abstract

PT XYZ is a company engaged in the wood industry which is marketed for export. In carrying out the production process losses often occur in multi drill machines thereby reducing the effectiveness of the machine. These losses arise because the machine is often adjusted and experiences breakdowns. Therefore, this study will analyze the effectiveness of the multi drill machine using the Overall Resource Effectiveness (ORE) method. Furthermore, fishbone diagrams, Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA), and Total Productive Maintenance will be used as a method for providing improvement suggestions to increase machine effectiveness. From the calculation results, the ORE value is 59.58% (below the standard, which is 85%). Furthermore, by using the fishbone and FMEA methods, 3 failure modes with the largest RPN values were taken. Proposed improvements to increase the effectiveness of multi-bore machines are the application of autonomous maintenance, quality maintenance, preventive maintenance, and provision of safety stock.

Abstract

CV Milkindo Berka Abadi merupakan sektor usaha yang bergerak pada bidang peternakan sapi perah, industri pengolahan susu, dan wisata edukasi. Berdasarkan observasi, dari beberapa proses produksi susu pasteurisasi kemasan cup memiliki beberapa waste yang sering terjadi pada proses produksi susu pasteursiasi kemasan cup yaitu menunggu dan gerakan berlebih. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah meminimasi waste pada proses produksi susu pasteurisasi kemasan cup dengan menggunakan pendekatan lean manufacturing. Langkah penelitian meliputi identifikasi jenis waste dominan menggunakan metode borda, pemilihan detail mapping tool menggunakan metode VALSAT, menentukan detail waste dengan detail mapping tool terpilih dari metode VALSAT, identifikasi penyebab dari detail waste menggunakan FTA, menentukan prioritas waste dengan menggunakan FMEA, dan pemberian usulan perbaikan berdasarkan mode kegagalan yang memiliki RPN tertinggi. Hasil dari metode borda didapatkan bahwa jenis waste dominan adalah unnecessary motion dan waiting dengan bobot yang sama senilai 0,204. Usulan perbaikan yang direkomendasikan untuk meminimasi waste di perusahaan yaitu Membuat jadwal preventive maintenance dan membuat visual display.
